High tea
Tiffany G.

Since our trip to London, my daughter and I have been looking for a tea shop that serves high tea. Fleur de Tea was the perfect place! It is an adorable little shop with comfy seats. The tea selection was really impressive, and you get three large pots of tea per person. The food was delicious and plentiful. The small quiches were our favorite, and the chocolate chip scones were also really yummy! The service was thoughtful and attentive. We bought a couple of the teas to take home with us when we finished. We are already planning our next trip!:)

Cute, petit cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Things you should know: I. PARKING Easy and free in the Norton Commons central parking area II. SERVICE friendly ~ no complaints III. QUALITY We didn't get tea here, but I gravitated towards the scones. We ended up buying the funfetti flavor. It was a little too sweet for my palate, but I shouldn't have expected anything less. Looking forward to trying the lemon blueberry option next time we visit town. IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seating for a Friday mid-morning.

Vanilla from the Tea Sampler (online store) -- green tea with a lovely vanilla bean aroma

Fleur de Tea offers a wide variety of teas in store, along with a few bubble tea, coffee, smoothie, and pastry options. If you aren't able to visit in-person but still want to try their tea, check out the online store, which sells a Tea Sampler kit ($15) that can be shipped throughout the U.S. I ordered the Tea Sampler kit, which includes a selection of five loose leaf teas (one each of black, green, white, oolong, and herbal tea) and waited eagerly for it to be shipped 2000+ miles to California. Yay for free shipping too! SPILLING THE TEA... ON THE TEA: Per the website, each bag will make one 8-oz. cup of tea, but I was able to get at least two good cups out of each bag (and might've even gone to the 4-5 cup range for some...) The tea itself is pretty good quality as well - no tiny crumbled/dust pieces of leaves here - you get to see the actual pieces of tea leaves, and the aromas come out beautifully when brewing. // Almond oolong tea: + Bright, fruity taste of oolong with a savory almond flavor + This was one of my favorites! // Vanilla green tea: + Lovely vanilla bean aroma! + I enjoyed this. I've tried other bagged teas with vanilla before and didn't like how artificial the vanilla flavor seemed, but Fleur de Tea's version didn't have the same artificial-ness. // Blood Orange herbal tea: + Also had rose hips and hibiscus flowers. Non-caffeinated! + Brewed a lovely red color and tangy notes from the dried blood orange peel. + I'm generally not a fan of a lot of hot fruity teas, but I actually liked this one. // Eternal Spring tea: + White tea with a mix of fruit & rose petals + Very light flavor with a gentle fruity/floral aroma I personally prefer stronger teas, so this one was just alright, but I can see why this would be a favorite for others. // Keemun Concerta tea: + Very strong black tea with a rich, smoky aroma + This was M's favorite one! TEA SAMPLER PACKAGING & CONDITION: The little package arrived in good condition. Each bag of loose leaf tea was sealed in its own small plastic bag, protecting it from the air and keeping in the aromas until I finally tried each one. The plastic bag is also labeled with the recommended water temperature and brewing time. The tea bag itself had a drawstring opening, so you can easily pour out the tea into your own tea infuser or tea pot if you prefer. PRICES: At $3/tea bag (each of which made for multiple brews), it's a little pricier than buying bulk bags of tea online but is definitely a way better deal than getting tea from Starbucks and most standard coffee shops. OVERALL: I'm a fan! I also got to hear Fleur de Tea's owner talk about her passion for tea and why she opened this store, and she's clearly super passionate about sharing quality tea with others. I'm happy I got to support her business from afar and try the Tea Sampler - it's a great way to try some more unique teas!

After attending a virtual Yelp event that featured Fleur de Tea, I have been dying to get to the shop. Today was the day! The shop is located in the heart of Norton Commons. We went mid-day and had no problem locating a parking space around the area of shops. Upon entering the shop we were immediately greeted by both the owner and another employee. The variety of teas in the shop is amazing, and numbers over 60! The teas can be served hot or cold and of course there are specialty tea-drinks too. When I was a bit indecisive, the owner offered me samples of the two teas that I was considering. I went with the Eternal Spring that had an enticing, fruity aroma and tasted delicious. The Mister went with the Blood Orange and it was amazing too. The teas are not sweetened, but a well-stocked self-serve station has a variety of sweeteners that can be added. There are gifts made by local artisans for purchase, as well as a variety of tea-related goods like teapots, tea cups and more. The shop was extremely clean with a grade 'A' health rating (don't tell anyone but it was actually cleaner than my own kitchen!). There are several intimate seating areas indoors and tables on the sidewalk in front of the store. We ended up buying a bag of the Blood Orange to take home, and I know that we will be returning to try the many different varieties that piqued our interest! I love supporting local businesses and this is definitely one of the best!

Love that we've got a new tea place around here! They do hot and cold teas, coffee drinks, bubble tea. They also sell loose leaf tea and merch! When I came on a Saturday afternoon it was busy! Lots of people at almost every table and line that didn't stop. There were a handful of workers so they worked fast! They were even baking scones! The staff member told me some of their most popular teas since I wasn't sure what to order. Their tea menu is large! I ended up getting the elderberry herbal tea. Delicious! They have honey and all your needs sitting on the counter (cream, sugar, stir sticks). My friends got the bubble tea to try it out. One got strawberry and my other friend got blackberry. Tasted more like a smoothie with a juice base...not very tea like. I'll be back! Can't wait to try more tea and maybe a scone next time!

Great tea selection! Bubble teas... I came to pay Fleur de Tea a visit at the urging of my friend. The shop is located in the heart of Norton Commons' "Town Center". It is a cute shop inside and out. I could see the owner put her heart into this business. The decor is light and bright. But I do think the huge bright window begs for some live plants. "Succulents, cacti and desert rose would love it here..." I thought to myself as I sipped the Lychee Rose tea. I ordered a pot so the tea can steep, then slowly sipped out of the little cup. It is goood!! The blend of lychee and rose is magic!! On the other hand, my friend's blackberry bubble tea was not well received. Now let me preface this by saying that she has been acclimated to the Asian style bubble teas from Kung Fu Tea and Share Tea. Fleur de Tea's version is more like a smoothie: blended and thick with pulp. It made getting the "bubbles" through straw very difficult. If you are into smoothies, you might like this. So, in conclusion: live plants and more bubble tea varieties would be great!

Such a cute store. Feels so homely. Had a beautiful backdrop as soon as you walked in to the right with greenery. Across from the counter they had other items you could purchase like jewelry and hats. I assume they are from local stores. I could probably buy everything in there. Everything was nice and looked like someone took their time on the items. The people who worked there were extremely nice too. They helped me pick out a tea that I would enjoy. I appreciated that because I never know what tea to get. They had so many options of drinks. I got the blood orange tea. Their teas are not sweetened so they had a station where they had all the things to sweeten your drinks from pure honey to many different sugars. The tea has an amazing flavor. I just need to figure out the sweetness ratio for honey and sugar so I can have a sweeter tea. We got the lemon blueberry scone and fruit tart. OMG!! They both were amazing. The scone was fresh out the oven when we got it so it was nice and soft and full of flavor. The lemon was louder than the blueberry but it was fine. The fruit tart... my son never had one before and he said it was delicious. The crust is a little tougher than I expected but still super good. It had blueberries, raspberries and strawberries on top. Amazing!! I can't wait to try more things.

I have been looking for a great local place with loose leaf tea that can also ship (when I don't have time to trek from Indiana). Jasmine Gotti, owner of Fleur de Tea, provided just what I needed! STORE: Nestled in the quaint downtown shops of Norton Commons, this little shop couldn't get any cuter. With an adorable space for enjoying tea (or pastries - just keep reading!). OFFERINGS: Oodles of tea! She has over 60 teas (as much as there is room for) served hot and cold brew - also with in house coffee, bubble tea and specialty drinks/lattes. All teas available loose leaf to take home AND many of her teas are available online. I just adore the Earl Grey Moonlight (hints of vanilla and cream), kemum concerta (for a strong black breakfast tea) and fuzzy navel for a sweet moment (which would also taste great iced). FOOD: Jasmine makes lovely scones and fruit tarts. Perfect for teatime. We took scones home: strawberry with white chocolate glaze, lemon blueberry and chocolate chip cinnamon. IN STORE: I appreciate the focus on supporting other local businesses with gifts as well as lovely tea pots, cups and accessories. Tea pots and cups are also online. ORIGIN: Jasmine found the perfect hangout spot in high school and wanted to recreate this atmosphere. She isn't into coffee or alcohol and has grown to love tea, so went with it! She filed her LLC in Dec 2019 but then 2020 happened. She states it was a boon to wait to open until after the initial shut down because clear precautions were in place making business easier than having to shut down and reopen. OVERALL: I love the variety and quality of loose leaf tea and the ability to order a sampler of tea online and taste test. Looking forward to some future options like a mobile tea cart or hosting a tea in the shop.

I'm not a huge fan of boba tea, but my daughter is obsessed! She loves visiting Fleur de Tea and asks to visit every day. The mix-and-match menu allows for tons of flavorful creativity and the ambiance of this place is amazing.

This place fit right into a postcard, thats how lovely it all looked. I got the green apple boba tea with strawberry jelly boba. It was delicious. The ambiance was quiet and cozy and the barista was very sweet and took my picture. A great little time!

Well it has been a while but man do I have a great place to speak about! Fluer dr Tea! Located on Norton Common Main Street . Female owned business with a great ambiance. Walking in we were greeted with smiles. I found the owner of this business was taking my order. She was warn and friendly. I got a very flavorful red bush tea. My family got boba teas. This place is a jewel! Go support this local shop.

Fleur de tea, owned by Jasmine Gotti, is an exquisite little tea shop located on Meeting Street in Norton Commons,, Prospect, KY. It features over 60 teas available to sit down and enjoy in a cozy indoor environment or at sidewalk table. Loose leaf tea is available to purchase in bulk or on-line. My wife had the 'Eternal Spring' and I had the 'Blood Orange' both over the rocks. These were absolutely wonderful and so refreshing on a warm Spring day. Jasmine's shop also features wares from local artisans and a wide variety of tea making paraphernalia. After a virtual Yelp event featuring Jasmine and her teas we were pumped for visiting her establishment in person and were not disappointed. Great tea and the chance to support a local business; a win-win.

I was really excited when I heard about Fleur de Tea, I even followed their IG and FB accounts to track the new store updates and the really cool flower wall they have. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with this place. We visited today and as we walked in, everything went downhill. We were the only ones in the store and the owner and the other employee in there didn't even acknowledge our presence. We got closer to the counter and the manager still gave her back to us and continued to ignore us. We got even closer to the register but the other employee continued to put some things away. When she finally came to take our order, she acted extremely annoyed. I hate to say this but if having paying customers in your store annoys you, you probably shouldn't own a customer-facing business that requires basic customer-service skills. At this point I was ready to get out of there but decided to still go on with our order. I had read that the scones were really good so I convinced my husband to get one but after he took one bite, I immediately regretted it. The strawberry scone was raw! In addition to being raw dough, it also had no flavor. We had to throw it away. I had also read the bubble tea was good so I ordered one for myself. This too had no flavor and was almost watered down so had to throw it away. I love supporting local but Fleur de Tea simply had horrible service, bad food and not worth spending money here.
