They also have smoothie bowls which is what my usual order used to be but they don't focus on smoothies anymore but they're still good. It's been about a year since I last visited Honeydew, and in the mood for an acai bowl today, I thought I'd check them back out. I ordered delivery, and also got a Tiger boba tea since I had seen that they now serve bubble tea. My order came within 40 minutes and hit the spot. First, the Pretty in Pink Bowl. This comes with pineapple, mango, dragon fruit, strawberry, chia seeds, and fresh orange juice blended together, topped with kiwi, banana, blueberry, chia seeds, hemp seeds and coconut flakes. As you can see there's a lot going on with this smoothie bowl, but it all worked well together. I especially liked the coconut on top. And the Tiger tea was a sweet treat! I was a regular here for over a year and got the same drink every single time. They got bought out by District 6 and after that the boba tea tasted so watered down. I still continued to come because the flavor itself was still good despite being watered down. When I came in today, I ordered my usual and was told they no longer serve it. I ordered another flavor and instead of the lychee jelly I always order I got popping pearls. Very disappointing and won't be returning. read more

As far as boba tea spots, from drinks to atmosphere this one does it well. It's located near St Matthews Station and unfortunately it can be easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Look for it between Bruegger's Bagels and Saints. Inside is brightly colored and the windows let in a lot of natural light. I appreciate the seating and it made me linger with my tea. The dining area was very clean and organized as well. I was greeted right away. An electronic board shows the menu and pictures rotate to show options. For $5 you pick your flavor, green or black tea and one topping. Additional toppings are available, and you pick your sweetness and amount of ice. I went with the classic milk black tea with boba, 50% sweetness, and it was exactly what I expected. This shop also offers desserts and açaí bowls. I'm excited to go back and enjoy a bowl and try another boba tea flavor. Happy that I stopped by today! So, I want to start out with the positives of this location. The ambiance is great, no complaints other than some of the chairs needing to be cleaned. The LCD display makes it easy to check the menu and determine what a customer may want to order. The customer service was great as well. Employee who assisted me with my order was friendly and attentive. Now, the negative aspects of my visits. The boba I got wasn't cooked or boiled enough. I will order from this location again in the future because my girlfriend stated that she had the same issue with some of her boba was good with no other complaints. The tapioca balls were super hard and this shouldn't be expected from this type of order. The coffee was sweet, but this can be avoided if I just ask for the order to have less sugar. I feel this is a fair review considering I threw away most of my tea because it was unbearable halfway through. I've popped in here a couple times, each time trying a different drink. I've had taro milk tea and strawberry tea to name a few. Today I tried the avocado smoothie, it was pretty bland and I wouldn't order it again. They have some nice snacks, ube brownie and fresh fruit amongst other baked goods. I've yet to try their salads or sandwiches. The staff is always super nice and fairly helpful. It's also a very cute shop with a fun mural and adorable decor. Apparently they had just opened a few weeks ago when we came. It was Derby day, so of course it wasn't super busy. It's not a large space. A few tables but I'm sure for most people, it's just a place to get in and out. People did come in and out to order smoothie bowls and smoothies. They do have treats and sandwiches. They've got gluten free options and vegan stuff. I got the Super Greens smoothie. A bunch of green items in it, like celery, apple, cucumber, kale. Refreshing! Both my friends got Pretty in Pink, which is apparently the most popular one at the moment. It's got oj, pineapple, strawberry, dragon fruit, etc. We also tried the pandan cake pop. Yum! Tasted exactly like pandan. I do commend the unique flavor options here, they are Asian owned !! Yayyy! I got my mom the Papayay! Minus the papaya juice lol she wanted oat milk instead to cut the sugar. We all loved it! Great smoothie options. It's $10 for a smoothie, but that's pretty typical in most cities. And I can't make some of this stuff at home. I'm not gonna buy carrot juice or spirulina LOL They do serve coffee too if you want a pick me up during the day. Parking wasn't my fave. Came here with a friend on a Sunday around 11AM. It was pretty busy! There was only one person working so she was definitely busy but communicated well with us when we ordered that it would be about 20 minutes before we would get anything we ordered. I appreciated the transparency! Staff was very friendly. I ordered a cold brew coffee with coconut milk. Not my favorite coffee I've ever had. Probably shouldn't have ordered coffee from a smoothie/juice place so that's my bad. I got an egg and bacon croissant to eat. It was good but the croissant was a little overdone in my opinion! My friend got the green smoothie bowl and said it was delicious! I would recommend sticking to the smoothie/juices on the menu versus venturing off to the food options. The place itself was very cute, clean, and vegan/gluten free friendly! Also expect to wait for your smoothie/food/drink upwards of 15 minutes so just keep that in mind- if you are in a rush, this is not a quick in and out place. read more

Every once in awhile I get a craving for bubble tea. Never been here, and gave it a shot. Decent amount of flavors--both milk and fruit varieties. Had a few other things on the menu like açaí bowls, which is pretty cool if you ask me. Anyway, we got a lychee with mango poppers and a peach with strawberry poppers. Both pretty solid, I drank the lychee up basically as fast as I could. The taste is based on how sweet you prefer, so the flavor changes drastically. Women-owned & API-owned business! When I went there was a few people, but it wasn't too busy. I like that this place has not only smoothies, but also smoothie bowls, sandwiches, and sweets. I got the Pretty in Pink smoothie, a turkey prosciutto and apple melt, & an ube cheesecake mochi brownie. I liked the Pretty in Pink smoothie a lot! It was sweet, fruity, and refreshing. The turkey melt was pretty interesting and I thought it had a unique flavor. It was a good lunch sized sandwich. I loved the ube cheesecake brownie! It was soft and chewy and the ube (Filipino sweet potato) flavor was just right. You don't see a lot of places here that sell ube baked goods and as a Filipina I was really excited to come to a place that has something with ube in it. Overall, I really like this place. Of all the places a sober or likewise smoothie loving individual could go, Honeydew has been my absolute favourite. All the food and fruit comes to the grill or blender right from local providers and tastes even better for it. I love coming here on my lunch breaks to get a smoothie bowl and a croffle to take home for later. My only complaint is that I get full before I can order more! There's truly something for everybody here. It's so much more accessible than coffee shops I've been to, and the workers work with my allergies for something I can take to tackle my day with an energy that doesn't crash like energy drinks give. I'll keep coming back until there's no more fresh fruit or delicious sandwiches left to be made. This place dirtier than a hourly rate motel. Chairs and the couches ain't been cleaned since Obama was president. Everything in here is sticky. Took 18 minutes for one drink and we were the only people in the shop. They weren't busy with DoorDash either because one of the staff was on their laptop when we got there. And the worst part? Ordered an acai bowl and fruity cereal croffle. The food was really good and the place is adorable. I rated this place 3 stars because the atmosphere was horrible. The ladies working did not seem very friendly or welcoming. I would have just left, but drove all the way to try the food there. There was a mix up and they made us a fruit and cream croffle instead of the fruity cereal croffle. When I told one of the ladies this, she did not seem pleased and told us that she made what it said on the ticket, but said she would fix it.
