I love the Big Four area so much, and a place like this really really hits the spot on a hot summer day. After miles and miles of walking and exploring the area I could not wait to get myself a treat here. There's tons of options to choose from here, from smoothies, to hot drinks, to a variety of teas. I have a strong affinity for taro milk tea with bubbles and I was so happy to indulge. They did have a lot of other really interesting and delicious sounding options, giving my usual taro a run for its money! My taro tea was great though, I'd love to come back and I'd recommend it to anyone. The locale is super cute and spacious, in the charming and pedestrian-traffic-heavy downtown Jeffersonville area. We stopped in this cute quaint place after walking across the bridge into Jeffersonville, IN. It has the making of an adorable chill spot, however the service was subpar. I'm sure the young lady was a nice person, and customer service is just lacking from establishments these days. We walked in and not even a hello, and it wasn't crowded, we were the only ones. She didn't even look up until I said hello. No goodbye thank you for coming either. That being said, the tea was good, mine was only hot for about 5 min, however my boyfriend tea stayed hot. Well, what can I say about the Fresco. The good is that it's location is well situated by the bridge. It was quite blustry on the bridge with rain beginning. This place is the closest stop to get something warm to drink. And that's it. The barista was probably the most aloof I've come across. Never did she greet us, look up from her screen, make small talk or even that us for coming in. The building is 100+ years and smells like it. Quite musty. Honestly we only stayed inside because it was raining outside. As someone that worked in retail before, I can't say anything to great about this place. It's dry, and the tea is OK. After taking a Sunday stroll on a hot Spring afternoon, we decided we needed something to cool us off. This had been the first time I'd seen Fresco pop up, which was conveniently right at the end of the bridge. It's located in a charming little house, and they have all kinds of fun flavors to try. They have done a good job of renovating the building, making it 21st Century friendly but maintaining the building's history. I have had their hot and cold teas and a hot latte -- Bananas Foster latte. All were excellent. The latte was sweet but very tasty and unique. I usually don't like when a food item is called "Bananas Foster" because it has bananas and cinnamon flavor. This is an exception. It was sweet and creamy enough to make me think of my favorite dessert. This is a great place to relax, enjoy a tasty beverage and get away from it all for a while. This tea shop is located in the heart of downtown Jeffersonville in a cute little building, which I believe used to be a house. Either way, super cute! The interior is cute as well and seems like it has plenty of seating. We got our drinks to go, but it looked like there was seating on a patio out back and possibly upstairs. I had one of the milk bubble teas made with oolong tea, and it was super yummy. Definitely no complaints with the drinks! Decided to cross the Big Four Bridge one day and try out Fresco Tea Bar. And I had seen this cute little location every time I had gone across the bridge but unfortunately I was too late on those days to check out this new spot. I met up with a friend and we were able to explore the cute little shop and have a snack. She got a tea that she really enjoyed. We both got the veggie dill & caper bagel sandwich which was a lot of food all things considered for the price. She got it on the everything bagel I got it on the plain bagel but it was very tasty. I got the gingerbread latte which was OK I had decided to go for something seasonal given the timeframe. I think next time I I go I'd like to go in the afternoon and get some Boba particularly because they have a chai Boba available or a Thai tea boba available. This is a nice spot to relax and I look forward to warmer weather to explore this spot further. read more

Glad to see this interesting space ended up as Fresco Tea Bar and not a police substation as was originally the plan with the redevelopment of the "walking bridge" area. Pretty much your standard fare, modern "bubble tea" type place & all the things that come along with that. Because its an old building, the layout its a little weird but really, really cool. Large upstairs area that leads to an outdoor space. Nooks everywhere to read, work, visit, etc. Borderline coffee house vibe. Lots of room to spread out with the outdoor spaces. I just love walking the BIg Four bridge and ending up in Jeffersonville to experience all it has to offer. This time we went specifically to have tea the the new Fresco Tea Bar that sits at the base of the bridge. Directly to your right as you get to the street. It is housed in an old remodeled two story home. I am new to Tea bars so I was excited to try something new and boy was it a new experience. I ordered a pink bubble milk tea with flavor busts in the mix. I had no idea what I would be getting. But oh my was it delicious. It obviously had a milk base and was a milking pink color and floating in it were what I would describe as super soft gummies that packed a burst of tropical flavors when you bit into them. It was also super sweet and super cold which suits me to a tee (TEA). HAHa. The girls at the counter were very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me with my order. There is a front porch with a few tables and we took the tea to drink outside since it was such a pretty day and watch people in downtown Jeff. After we were done with the tea we headed back inside to explore the rest of the house which is open to the public. There are sitting areas downstairs as well as up. A dinning room area upstairs with a swing and a huge dining room table with I assume they rent out. Then there is a deck area upstairs with seating that overlooks the bridge and the downstairs outdoors area with more seating. SO GO, grab a drink, explore the space and put it on your list to return. After a walk across the bridge on a hot day we needed something refreshing to drink. We noticed this adorable outdoor space from a distance and walked toward it to see what it was. Happened to be this new tea bar! The menu has Boba and refreshers among other options. My wife got a blueberry lemonade refresher. She says it was less tea and sweet but was super refreshing on a hot day. She enjoyed the blueberries in the bottom of the drink. I got a cantaloupe boba. It was subtle and I liked it a lot. I appreciated the size of the menu. Many boba places give so many options that it is hard to know how to order. This menu had great options but was not intimidating. The real winner for this place is the outdoor seating. I felt like I was in Charleston sitting on the second floor balcony under a fan.
