They placed the wedding cake as well as the groom's cake. They also had their first dance there. The weather thankfully held out, the ground was a little soft but not terrible. The food that was served was outstanding. We had green beans, mashed potatoes, chicken, pulled pork, bread, and salad. We were able to set up the music under a small porch. The iced tea and lemonade was off to the side. The inside of the place was very pretty. They had one bathroom. The parking was a little slim but we were able to squeeze in a spot. Overall the entire reception was beautiful. There was only one downfall though, one of the ladies that worked there asked the grandma of the bride "haven't you been here once already" when she went to the food table! Like, WTF? She had only gotten salad and soup the first time, and she went back to get the actual dinner. I witnessed this and thought it was rude. So a star off for that....

Each tea has a menu catered to that tea's theme. There is so much local history surrounding the tea room/home and Jeff is a descendent of one of the historical owners. We love that they allow into their home and to take part of these magical teas. And if you're ever trick or treating in Corydon you must stop by cause you never know who may be standing on the porch handing out candy.

In the corner there are some items for sale along with all of their teas, and while we did not drink any there we did purchase some to make ourselves later (they allowed us ot smell the varieties they had and they were all incredible. The atmosphere is super cute with a old Victorian/period theme kind of vibe. The seating is comfortable, and the tea room can hold about 40-50 people seated with a buffet table and drink station too. The food is out of this world! Not only that, but I was able to get some items made specially for me and a couple others who have a gluten allergy. I told the caterer I loved him because this GF Chicken Cordon Bleu dish I had was BEYOND!!
