Solid boba joint for Missouri. Not as good as the boba I've had in California but still pretty good. I usually get my drinks less sweet, but here the regular sweetness was good (tasted less sweet) Vanilla Chai milk tea (3.5/5): pretty good, chai was yummy and not too overpowering. Bubble Cup Tea Zone is by far the best in COMO for a milk tea atm! Every milk tea I have tried here has been amazing and today after trying my first Match latte from here I've decided to give it a good review because more people need to give this place a try! This is the downtown location and serves mainly drinks. Cute little cafe with comfortable seatings and decor. Coming from CA, this boba shop is great! The servers were friendly and quite patience with our orders. The matcha foam transformed my oolong tea into matcha oolong milk tea! I've always been a huge fan of boba and Bubblecup never fails to satisfy my cravings. Their teas are all pretty standard and run-of-the-mill, but I'm definitely not complaining. Their fruit teas are all fantastic, but their milk teas tend to be a bit heavier than most other boba places. They also have crepes and other desserts on their menu; their snowfluffs are delightful and a great way to cool off on a hot summer day if you want something lighter than ice cream or boba. First time trying and they didn't have the boba milk tea snowfluff I wanted. I had the Oreo fluff which was pretty good and a great size portion. Today I was told by the young woman working that I could not have a drink with an espresso shot because she had already cleaned the espresso machine for the day..... it was 4:50pm and the bubble tea closed at 6pm. I hope this establishment doesn't stoop down to hiring children who break into tears when God forbid they have to stay after work to clean out an espresso machine. First of all, I was so happy to come from Seattle and find a bubble tea spot. We are spoiled with bubble tea back home. When we walked in the workers gave us a warm greeting. I'm familiar with how to order my drinks, but I'm always as indecisive as ever to know what to get. They helped my sister and I decide on what to order. We also ordered a chicken teriyaki crepe which was delcious. What we had was so good, I just had a rose milk tea with boba, my sister an almond tea drink. All delicious, all smooth. Later on we came back with a friend who ordered some bubble tea for her son. I ended up ordering another drink, vanilla chai latte bubble tea. I had both drinks hot. The guy who runs it, I believe he does, was really friendly with the help and explaining somethings about bubble tea, line where it originated from, go our friends. If I lived here, this would be another go to/frequent spot. read more

I've literally had boba at every place in town and they have the best, totally recommend

One of the worst customer service I experienced here. I am new to the area and wanted to find my new go to boba shop so I decided on this place as I work nearby. My go to milk tea drink is jasmine milk tea w/ 50% sugar but I forgot to tell them to put less sugar so it was supposed to be 100% sugar. First, when I taste my drink, it didn't have any sugar in it. If my usual drink is 50% sugar I would be able to tell if there was no sugar in it. Second, it has no tea flavor so it just tasted like water and milk. I get that some places just don't have a strong tea flavor and that's fine, but when I go up to the 2 Caucasian female workers there and let them know they forgot to add sugar, they immediately get defensive and say they already added sugar in it. It is hard to just add more sugar if it wasn't sweet enough? They didn't even offer a suggestion to fix the problem. I then ask them if they can just add some sugar since it's not sweet enough and they said they would charge me extra for it. They just didn't seem sincere or wanted to help me fix the problem at all. I gave them 2 stars bc my friends drink was fine and you can clearly tell there's sugar in it. I am really disappointed in the customer service here and haven't seen back since the 6 months I've been here. They lost a customer that would have otherwise came in multiple times every week. read more

What a yuck experience. I ordered a coffee milk tea (my normal order at any boba shop). It was darker in color than it normally is and after tasting it, I know why. There are coffee grounds in the bottom of my cup and the coffee is bitter. Not good. I wish I had time to go back and have it fixed. Bubblecup Tea Zone has the best boba/bubble tea in the area! My favorite is their strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba. I also ordered their beef bento box but was not impressed, I could not even eat half of it. The meat was very chewy and dry and the rice was soggy. Another downside is that they only accept cash or card so Apple pay and any other mobile payment is not an option. I would recommend them for their bubble tea, but that's about it. read more

I absolutely love Bubblecup Tea Zone and I have been a loyal customer for awhile now. However, I am very disappointed with how the owner, Chow, treats his employees. I was waiting in line at approximately 5:10pm on December 27th, 2018 and his behavior was absolutely unacceptable. From what I gathered, they were running low on ingredients and since they were so busy, no one had the chance to tell him. He was badgering his employees in front of customers. He even went to the extent on aggressively throwing things in the sink and making a mockery of his establishment. I am so very distraught and shocked at this behavior. The prices were decent, the place was very clean, the staff seemed nice and he LOVED his Taro Milk Tea. It's definitely a place we'll go again, and next time I hope to try a crepe. read more

The downtown location is cute but finding parking is hard sometimes. The staff is friendly, and the quality varies on who makes it. Soooo delicious! I got the taro milk tea slush with mini boba and my sister got the oolong milk tea with mini boba. Perfectly sweetened bubble tea is hard to come by in my opinion. They seem to have a tradition of running this place for a while, there are posters on the walls explaining their history. great place for a quick Thai ice tea (with boba if that's what you like) and a Nutella Crepe, or just to hang out with friends in one of the big arm chairs here. Bubblecup Tea Zone is under new management since around March, as the previous owners apparently moved to Chicago. The new owners have been revamping the store to have a more modern vibe and a bigger menu. Sometimes the line is 15 people deep! I only get boba here and I'm always satisfied. The boba is never undercooked; sometimes it's a little bit overcooked but not unacceptably so. You can order the milk tea with customized levels of ice and sugar; I usually get no ice and half sugar. In my opinion full sugar is too sweet. My favorite flavors are matcha, lavender, and roasted oolong. Taro and boba are decent second options. I think the boba is on par with that in the SF Bay Area, NYC, and in Boston, although there's nothing in particular about Bubblecup Tea Zone's boba that stands out. My only problem is sometimes they mess up the order a little bit when they're really busy. If they figured out a way to ensure the orders are all correct even when they're busy, that would be awesome. All of their boba is made with non-dairy creamer, so no concerns for lactose intolerant customers. Also it only comes in one size, for ~$4 after you add boba. read more
