Cute, clean, and great service! Huge menu. We got the Watermelon Milk Tea(seasonal) with boba and Lychee Tea with peach popping pearls. There was a small mistake with our order(things happen) and they were so sweet and quick to take care of it! I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area. read more

Very yummy! My sister got the black tea latte which was like a less sweet version of a Thai tea. I got the passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly. It was sweet but not overly sweet. Great post dinner treat. read more

Bubble Cup Tea Zone is by far the best in COMO for a milk tea atm! Every milk tea I have tried here has been amazing and today after trying my first Match latte from here I've decided to give it a good review because more people need to give this place a try! Their fruit teas are refreshing and their grass and coffee jelly are a really good addition to add into their milk teas! All around the service here is quick and friendly and it's a great place to stop by if you're strolling downtown Columbia! (Also I mean the top of their milk teas are ADORABLE so if you're wanting a cute pic of your drink you'll get one every time!) read more

Solid boba joint for Missouri. Not as good as the boba I've had in California but still pretty good. I usually get my drinks less sweet, but here the regular sweetness was good (tasted less sweet) Vanilla Chai milk tea (3.5/5): pretty good, chai was yummy and not too overpowering. Boba wasn't super fresh, slightly chewy Strawberry milk tea (3/5): didn't taste powdery like sometimes boba drinks do. So that was a plus. Pretty good flavor read more

place wasn't clean and tea was bad. service was okay but lacking, would not recommend

This is the downtown location and serves mainly drinks. Cute little cafe with comfortable seatings and decor. Coming from CA, this boba shop is great! The servers were friendly and quite patience with our orders. The matcha foam transformed my oolong tea into matcha oolong milk tea! Will definitely come back when we're in town, but probably to the other location cause we like their food too! read more

I love this place! Have been coming for years, and ever since new management/owners the service has been really great. I especially love their punch card program for regular customers. Personally recommend the Lavender Milk Tea with Boba, Matcha Snow with Boba, or the Peach Fruit Tea with Mango Popping Boba. read more

I've always been a huge fan of boba and Bubblecup never fails to satisfy my cravings. Their teas are all pretty standard and run-of-the-mill, but I'm definitely not complaining. Their fruit teas are all fantastic, but their milk teas tend to be a bit heavier than most other boba places. They also have crepes and other desserts on their menu; their snowfluffs are delightful and a great way to cool off on a hot summer day if you want something lighter than ice cream or boba. The place got even better after it changed owners a few years ago, with a complete overhaul of the decor and the addition of new flavors. read more

First time trying and they didn't have the boba milk tea snowfluff I wanted. I had the Oreo fluff which was pretty good and a great size portion. The got the melon snowfluff flavor which was amazingly combined with the chocolate and Oreos. I will def comeback again to try the other flavors. The staff was nice and efficient. read more

Today I was told by the young woman working that I could not have a drink with an espresso shot because she had already cleaned the espresso machine for the day..... it was 4:50pm and the bubble tea closed at 6pm. I hope this establishment doesn't stoop down to hiring children who break into tears when God forbid they have to stay after work to clean out an espresso machine. I would like to add that I have never had a bad experience at the grindstone location, which makes this incident even more disappointing. read more

Boba was nice and chewy. Some drinks may be on the sweeter side so adjust your sugar level if you prefer less sweeter drinks :)

First of all, I was so happy to come from Seattle and find a bubble tea spot. We are spoiled with bubble tea back home. When we walked in the workers gave us a warm greeting. I'm familiar with how to order my drinks, but I'm always as indecisive as ever to know what to get. They helped my sister and I decide on what to order. We also ordered a chicken teriyaki crepe which was delcious. What we had was so good, I just had a rose milk tea with boba, my sister an almond tea drink. All delicious, all smooth. Later on we came back with a friend who ordered some bubble tea for her son. I ended up ordering another drink, vanilla chai latte bubble tea. I had both drinks hot. The guy who runs it, I believe he does, was really friendly with the help and explaining somethings about bubble tea, line where it originated from, go our friends. If I lived here, this would be another go to/frequent spot. read more

I've literally had boba at every place in town and they have the best, totally recommend

What a yuck experience. I ordered a coffee milk tea (my normal order at any boba shop). It was darker in color than it normally is and after tasting it, I know why. There are coffee grounds in the bottom of my cup and the coffee is bitter. Not good. I wish I had time to go back and have it fixed. The store was also cramped and dirty -- their bathroom door was propped open with a rusty paint bucket... classy. Lol Wouldn't recommend for stopping in or working/chilling there. read more

One of the worst customer service I experienced here. I am new to the area and wanted to find my new go to boba shop so I decided on this place as I work nearby. My go to milk tea drink is jasmine milk tea w/ 50% sugar but I forgot to tell them to put less sugar so it was supposed to be 100% sugar. First, when I taste my drink, it didn't have any sugar in it. If my usual drink is 50% sugar I would be able to tell if there was no sugar in it. Second, it has no tea flavor so it just tasted like water and milk. I get that some places just don't have a strong tea flavor and that's fine, but when I go up to the 2 Caucasian female workers there and let them know they forgot to add sugar, they immediately get defensive and say they already added sugar in it. It is hard to just add more sugar if it wasn't sweet enough? They didn't even offer a suggestion to fix the problem. I then ask them if they can just add some sugar since it's not sweet enough and they said they would charge me extra for it. They just didn't seem sincere or wanted to help me fix the problem at all. I gave them 2 stars bc my friends drink was fine and you can clearly tell there's sugar in it. I am really disappointed in the customer service here and haven't seen back since the 6 months I've been here. They lost a customer that would have otherwise came in multiple times every week. read more

Bubblecup Tea Zone has the best boba/bubble tea in the area! My favorite is their strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba. I also ordered their beef bento box but was not impressed, I could not even eat half of it. The meat was very chewy and dry and the rice was soggy. Another downside is that they only accept cash or card so Apple pay and any other mobile payment is not an option. I would recommend them for their bubble tea, but that's about it. read more

I love bubblecup tea zone! I ordered a green tea honey lemon drink I didn't really care for, so I asked them to remake my drink and they made me a mango slush with boba ! I absolutely love Bubblecup Tea Zone and I have been a loyal customer for awhile now. However, I am very disappointed with how the owner, Chow, treats his employees. I was waiting in line at approximately 5:10pm on December 27th, 2018 and his behavior was absolutely unacceptable. From what I gathered, they were running low on ingredients and since they were so busy, no one had the chance to tell him. He was badgering his employees in front of customers. He even went to the extent on aggressively throwing things in the sink and making a mockery of his establishment. I am so very distraught and shocked at this behavior. This is not how you treat your employees. read more

I'm not a fan of bubble tea, but my husband loves it--so we made sure to stop by this place (June 9th) while we were visiting Columbia. The prices were decent, the place was very clean, the staff seemed nice and he LOVED his Taro Milk Tea. It's definitely a place we'll go again, and next time I hope to try a crepe. read more

The downtown location is cute but finding parking is hard sometimes. The staff is friendly, and the quality varies on who makes it. I prefer the grindstone employees, seems like they make I right every time. It may not be quality milk tea, but for being in the Midwest it's the best we are probably going to get. read more

Some of the best bubble tea I have ever had! I have had plenty of bubble tea over the years and this place nailed it. My boyfriend had the mango snow at the owner's suggestion and it was amazing. I'm a Thai tea person and it was also superb. Definitely recommend to anyone in mid Missouri. They are also opening a second location and the owner is very excited about it. They seem to have a tradition of running this place for a while, there are posters on the walls explaining their history. great place for a quick Thai ice tea (with boba if that's what you like) and a Nutella Crepe, or just to hang out with friends in one of the big arm chairs here. The menu has a lot of my favorite drinks, some variations of matcha teas, and different desserts. The service is friendly and attentive, but it gets a little slow when it's busy. read more
