I waited almost a half hour before asking him for the second drink. Drink was terrible & not anything like in the pic. Don't be fooled by the trendy, cuteness of this place like I was. When my husband and I arrived, there were about 5 people in line ahead of us with 2 employees working. The line moved, but I think the ordering process could have been more organized to make it faster. They allow taste testing of the ice cream flavors. I tasted "birthday cake" and found the flavor to be very bland, it pretty much just tasted like a flavorless vanilla. I ordered the original waffle with vanilla ice cream and Nutella and Kit Kat topping. For two waffle cones with one scoop of ice cream and a couple toppings our total was nearly $20. I wouldn't have minded the $20 price so much if the flavors were there, but they were lacking. The original waffle is flavorless, so if you must visit this place, add something to your waffle to make it taste better. The vanilla ice cream was not creamy, and had almost no flavor. The Nutella and Kit Kat toppings were very sparse and would have been nice if they were better dispersed atop the ice cream and the 2 pieces of Kit Kate crushed up. To add to the experience, I visited the ladies room where there was no toilet paper and the paper towel dispenser needed help to dispense the paper towels. I had an amazing time here. I've gone already three times and the service is good. The ambiance as well is pretty peaceful people usually come in groups of 2 or 3. They offer games like Jenga, connect 4, and uno for free. The only thing is they're not vegan friendly. I ordered the waffle by itself since all their ice cream is made from organic milk. I ordered a regular bubble waffle and a drip coffee today. Bubble waffle is only average. The coffee is terrible. Obviously they trick you into buying a tiny small no coffee flavor coffee for more than 3 dollars. I won't pay for this for even a penny. I asked why the coffee is super tiny and they told me their coffee is 6oz. However there is no where in their menu clearly mentions that. Okay that's fine but the coffee in my tiny cup is just about half. So I guess their sell 3oz no coffee flavor coffee for 3 more dollars. 1 dollar for 1oz. read more

Yesterday was my first time coming to bubble egg and I honestly loved it! I was very nervous to order but I was greeted with a warm smile from a tall south Asian girl, she seemed to be new as she wants wearing the same clothes as the other workers but she certainly gave the best customer service. She recommended me things and even wiped my table before I sat down. Overall the actual food itself was very tasty, the waffle tasted very fresh and warm with their unique ice cream flavors. I definitely recommend this place especially if you're new to Katy cause they have the best customer service and great food! This so happened to be one of the best desserts I e had. I got the strawberry one with vanilla ice cream. Boy was it the perfect mixture of everything I like about a dessert. It was sweet but not too sweet and the waffle has some crunchiness. The waffle is still a little warm so it makes the ice cream just the slightest bit melty which I love. This review is strictly based upon my opinion on their product. I believe everyone should try something on their own if they are curious about an establishment. I think Bubble Egg needs to find their identity as I feel like they are trying to do too much on their menu. I think an establishment that focuses on egg waffles should have more than 4 waffle presses on hand. We had ordered 1 matcha waffle and it was extremely underwhelming. You could barely taste any matcha and they are stingy with the batter as a third of our waffles weren't even complete bubbles. This also took nearly 10 minutes on a slow night, just for a single plain waffle. Let alone, it was $4. I think it would be far to be priced at $3 at most. The service times are slow, and I think this comes in part with them trying to do too much. I personally do not have a reason to come back to this or any other location as the product itself was below mediocre. read more

I love the concept of Bubble Egg and have visited the restaurant a few times with minor issues however , yesterday was a disappointing experience. Visit time was around 5....I ordered a latte and was told they didn't have the stuff to make lattes because it's the weekend and they didn't have supplies , wow. I ordered a lemon ginger tea instead as well as an ice cream . Tea came out 3/4 of the way filled and was not good at all. I told the cashier it didn't taste well btw ,I have ordered the same drink on other occasions and it was tasty, so I am familiar with the correct taste and this was not it. She offered to remake the drink and it came out half full -___-. This time she said they were low on the tea mix , I requested a refund because apparently this was a weekend short on supplies. At this point I've received 2 bad teas and am still waiting on the ice cream, took extra long because the bubble waffle irons were not all working -____- . How is a business out of stuff on Saturday afternoon? Overall I am not sure I will visit again due to the issues on this visit, beware of limited options and a long wait if you visit. read more

You walk in and it was really cute and clean, but once you look at the menu it can get a little confusing. I went with my family and we overall enjoyed it but one thing was that it was a bit pricey. This is my favorite place to go with my family and friends. I like the matcha waffle so so much and when you step inside the fragrance of vanilla and eggs in the air Awww just warm me up like my mom kitchen when she baked cupcakes.
