We have been here twice in a months time. For us who like variety, that is saying a lot. We don't generally care for chain restaurants but we tried it for my husband's birthday and then went back two weeks later because of how delicious the food was. Nice bar restaurant feel, clean with wooden booths and at least 40 TVs with music and various sports. We have tried the burgers, salads, pizza and shotgun shrimp thus far. The pizza crust is something to brag about. A pepperoni pizza is simple but done right, can be amazing. And it was amazing! Chewy, flavorful, crisp all in one. They have a varies pizza menu with some pizzas totally out the box such as the Not Your Mama's Pizzas which is like a chicken taco pizza with refried beans as a sauce, it's odd and good all in one. There's a section of burgers that are ground with bacon, they are delicious especially the sunshine burger featuring an egg. The habanero burger has a giant fried jalapeno popper on it which is spicy yet tames the spice of the jalapeno relish and habanero cheese. Salads feature potato strings which is their take on a crouton but I like it! Shotgun shrimp is lightly breaded covered in sriracha mayo and served over those damn potato straws which are still amazing with that mayo on it. Service has been exceptional Everytime. Drinks have been kept refilled, the liquor mixed drinks are strong and good quality for a low price. They have a whole selection of long island iced teas for $4. We'll be back. I texted their automated system and it said my food wasn't ready and to wait in my car. After 25 minutes I decided to go check on my food and at the same time a girl was walking toward the door with my food. I payed for it and went to my car. Everything would have been great considering they told me the wait time. However, I walked to my car and decided to eat a couple nachos since I'm starving and they're super cold. So I thought maybe they were waiting on the fried pickles-nope cold as well. So I was basically waiting in my car for my food to get cold and nachos to get soggy. Update: We will no longer spend our money here. Every single time we order from Bubba's, we spend $70 on food and tip $15. They always jam our order into ONE bag. The food is a mess when we get home. There is always an item missing completely or made wrong. Sometimes both. You tell them no eggs because there is a food allergy and you get extra eggs. You order chicken nachos and they aren't there. No pickles. No dressing. Over easy egg hard as a puck. I could go on. I call every single time and all I get is a half-assed apology. They wouldn't remake the food tonight because they were closed by the time we got back home and I understand that, but I'm also pretty angry because four of us are eating Bubba's and one is eating McDonald's. Doesn't seem fair. So I'm taking my business elsewhere. I cannot stand a restaurant that consistently messes up and won't do anything to fix it. I usually frequent Bubbas three to four times a month. Food is usually good but today it was terrible. At the waitress recommendation I tried the Stromboli it was very small and was $14.99. The chicken tender dinner which is usually good was very small portions also for $13.49. The manager came over to ask how everything was and explained to him the concerns. He laughed and said corporate decided to downsize all the portions of food. That was all. I don't know why they come around and ask how everything is when they could really care less. Seating time 15 minutes for 2 on a Friday night. Service was good for how busy it was and the Covid restrictions. I got beer and my wife got the blue ocean which she really enjoyed especially for $5.
