Checked out the new Bubba's 33 in the Brooks area and it went great! Checked in online and received a text when table was ready. Service was exceptional, wait times were not long at all even though the restaurant was jam packed. We tried the chicken tender dinner and the bubbas nachos, food was FRESH and delicious. Lasagna was also very good just didn't get a photo. Entire restaurant is surrounded by flat screen tv's and has a" bar" type setting. Will definitely be back again and recommend to others. read more

My friend and I took our pups for a walk on the Greenline (which was amazing) and decided to stop for a beer and to watch the football games before heading home. So we checked online AND called Bubba's 33 on SE Military to be sure they allowed dogs on the outside patio - the website said yes and the person who answered the phone confirmed. We get there and can't access the outdoor patio from outside (despite there being two doors), so I step in the entryway with my Standard Poodle (who is well-trained and well-behaved) and ask if we can get to the patio from outside with the dogs. The girl at the host stand says we can't bring the dogs in. I told her we literally just called and were told it was fine to have them on the patio so she asks if they're service dogs (that was not asked when we called). Nope they're not, so she says no, we don't allow dogs. WTF?! Will not be going back with or without my dog. What a waste of time, but not shocking for the south side. I'll take my dog to the Northside location (as usual) going forward. read more

Bubba's wasn't our initial choice to eat at on Monday night but the barbecue place we wanted to try was closed. But it was a serendipitous experience because it won't be our last time. Burgers are their specialty and they didn't disappoint. Big, juicy and delicious. Cheese fries are awesome. Service was great as well. Sports bar theme so plenty of TVs to view. read more

We recently visited this restaurant for the first time on April 30, 2023 at around 7:30pm. Seating was fast. We were greeted and asked if we would like an appetizer. We said yes and ordered the queso. Our drinks came. Other people started sitting around us. Their appetizer came but not ours. Either did our server. Our meals were delivered to our table but still no appetizer and no server. No condiments, no drink refills, no nothing. The burger came with literally 12 tots. The sandwich came with a handful of fries (must be a potato shortage). Midway through our meal, the appetizer came with an excuse saying that it takes long to make and the kitchen was backed up. We sent it back because there was point. Our server was not happy about it. No manager came by to apologize or ask us what happened. Not sure if we will go back with that kind of attitude. read more

Food is delicious, the music was too loud could not hold a conversation at the table without yelling. The service was poor, my burger had was ordered with no onions and it came with onions. Water took it back and has it corrected then came and told me the kitchen said the burger didn't have any onions even though I bit into one. Their service is not good at all. They have you wait for a long time to take your drink order then another 15 min for them to bring the drinks. They leave without taking the food order. They come back in 20 minutes to finally take the food order.... Then another 15-20 min to get it. Keep in mind it wasn't busy at all. I counted about 10 open booths. Don't get me wrong I loved Bubba's when it opened but the past few times I went wasn't the best, not the food but the service. I had the same server & she was just not attentive but today was top tier that I hadn't had in a while. Although my pizza didn't come out quite how I asked, it didn't matter because they took care of it right away, I was so happy with the attention of the server & never having an empty drink I didn't even mind. The food ordered was excellent. All things given, with them being slammed and all, the service was just as good. They may have had a few issues with the cooking staff timing all plates for each order to be ready at the same time but it did not effect the quality of each item being brought out to the customers. read more
