I went to Bubba's 33 for dinner with my family tonight, and was told the wait time was 20 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes, we were told we can sit at a high chair if we didn't want to wait a long time. Meanwhile several families who arrived after us were offered the high chair. I guess waiting more than twice the time wasn't long. To add insult to injury, we accepted the high chair offer which only had 4 chairs for a family of 5. This was the final straw, so we decided to leave due to the poor service. read more

My wife and son have been going to Bubbas for over a year now. Food is usually really good and before last night we typically had good service. That being said. After last night we will NEVER go back. Our waiter was very inattentive. It took us 15 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them and that was after I had to flag him down to ask for them. My sons kids meal which he put it immediately also took about 20 minutes to get. He dropped off our appetizer without any plates. When we noticed every table around us getting their food and we were just sitting there, we asked for a manager. Right before the manager came our food arrived. My wife who does not eat meat or dairy ordered the black bean veggie burger without cheese. On top of the poor service her burger had cheese. The manager was very apologetic for the poor service and offered to remake her burger right away and take it off the bill. He asked if we needed anything else in the meantime. We asked for some water since we hadn't seen our waiter since he dropped off the appetizer and my son's meal. He came back with water and a basket of fries so my wife had something to nibble on while they re made her burger. Which we thought was very nice of him. Fast forward. We finish eating and get the bill. The waiter apologized for messing up the burger. According to him it slipped his mind to tell the kitchen no cheese. He said my wife's burger had been taken off the bill. After looking at the bill I see her burger was comped and an additional $2.00 discounted. BUT after looking at it closer I noticed her burger was charged twice. After bringing it to the waiters attention and then the manager. He said we'll I took off the 1st burger and discounted the 2nd one. ARE YOU SERIOUS? When a manager says they are taking it off the bill and will remake it for you. That doesn't mean you are taking off the one they screwed up. Totally dissatisfied with the service how things were handled. Had the manager never offered to take it off the bill and then discounted it we would have been fine. But he was the one who said it would come off. OBVIOUSLY I'm not paying for something I didn't order. Will never return. read more

I have been to this restaurant many times and very rarely is the order served the correct order. Tonight was a perfect esample. Four adults order burgers all served with tater tots. My order is served with French fries. I tell the server, who is not the person that took the order. He says he will bring an order of tater tots right away. He never comes back... ten minutes later the waiter who took our order stops by and I tell him the problem. Another 10 minutes go by Ann's I request the manager. The manager comes over and I explain to her that I have been there many times before but there always seems to be a problem with the order. She leaves after I request the check. She comps my meal but I'm still not happy! read more

the staff is all great and wonderful, we came back for the second time in a month. the beers are always refreshing and on point, i recommend all my family and friends to at least try it once. the music is good and there are wall to wall tvs. read more

Arrived about 5:30 on a Saturday and got seated quickly. Service was prompt and Jasmine was very nice taking our order and checking in with us. Our first time here. My wife had the guacamole burger and I did the cheeseburger. No appetizers. The Guacamole burger has bacon in it so she had to get it Medium well which is more cooked than she expected or wanted. Jasmine suggested that she switch it with a all beef burger so that solved the challenge. Both burgers were very good but the bun gets too soggy too quickly with the sauces they use. Unfortunately the burger is falling apart before you get even halfway through. More messy then it needs to be and more than the cloth napkin can keep up with We will still come back. Lots on the menu to check out. read more

Loved this place! Great food, service, and environment. Great for families and sports lovers who want to catch a game! I will be back!

Great food drinks and service! Fun atmosphere with different decor and tons of tvs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Came here last night for dinner. Food, drinks and service was great but what impressed me the most was how the manager handled a situation at the table next to us. The patron ordered food and didn't have money to cover the bill and her professionalism in handling the situation by far will bring us back here again. read more

Honestly, I was super excited to see what all the hype was about, but I was actually really disappointed. My table ordered two appetizers, one of which was the fiesta dip - it was too many things that were placed together that just made it basically a clump of cheese. Gross. And the chips were drowned in salty seasoning. We ordered layered cheese fries, can you say SALTY? My friend ordered garlic parmesan wings, which to my surprise didn't taste like anything, considering they were basically soaking in an oil bath. My friend ordered the double bacon burger and one bite alone covered his shirt completely in oil, not to mention his onion rings were salty as well. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and that's the only thing I can say that was decent. read more

This place has a fun atmosphere. The food is really good and staff are super sweet. We had a great time.

My sister and I visited Bubbas's a Monday lunch time and although the restaurant was busy, we were seated very quickly.

Outside dining was great! Service was fantastic! Came in w my girlfriend the other night. HOWEVER... corporate needs to do something about that long walk that the servers and bussers need to make every time someone needs something. That cannot be fair to them! You need to be freaking Usain Bolt to be able to do that walk a million times. I get that you want to please customers, but the HUMAN in me feels for these servers. Let me be clear that the 2 star review ONLY is reflective of these bad working conditions for waitstaff. Food and service was 5 stars all day long. read more

My friend Zach ordered a medium-well burger, and got a raw steak. Not the center was raw. One half was raw, and the other half was cooked. So dangerous! Like how could you forget to rotate the burger? Someone could get sick! read more

Me and my boyfriend wanted a late night burger and sand which and decided to try bubbas. We ordered online and picked it up only to find the burger completely raw on the inside! It was pink and almost frozen. It was disgusting. I called them and the manager said he would give me a refund for the nasty raw burger but never took it off my card charge. I'm still trying to get in touch with them. Do not go here!!! read more

Really good burgers. Although I saw a review that someone found a bug on their food so kinda grossed me out.

If i could give this restaurant 0 stars, i totally would. I'm a local & my past few experiences have been great! Although tonight was a nightmare. I decided to bring friends there for their first time at Bubbas & i was completely embarrassed that i even suggested this place for a night out. The service was horrible, we waited 35 minutes for our first round of drinks. (You know it's bad when you have no food or drink at your table for you to enjoy) we were lucky enough to even see our waiter & had to approach other staff for service. Icing on the cake - my friend was drinking her drink and slurped up a nice , lovely , yellow jacket through her straw and spit it out. (She's allergic to bees. It was 9pm & already dead.. do you guys not clean your glasses? Because it defiently didn't get in there from outside) and the managers response was to give a coupon. As if we would even be going back, lol. An absolute disgrace, not to be a "Karen" but you have lost such a valuable customer. read more

It took someone to recognize we hadn't gotten anything close to 10 minutes. Not even waters. It wasn't busy at all. There were 2 servers in the section we were in. Finally a waitress comes over and apologizes, and we get started on ordering. Frozen sangria Rita was good, tasted the alcohol I was surprised at that. I got the chicken bacon avocado sandwich, it was very good. I also got the deal $9.99 12" pie so I got the mama nacho without jalapenos and it was delicious. My sister got the black bean veg burger she said it tasted bland. My son was supposed to get water, she got him milk, lol ok no biggie. I got the turtle thing for dessert that was delicious and my sister split the Oreos brownie with my 4 year old and they enjoyed that. Definitely will be going back, and hoping their service is a little better. Even with all of this said, my husband still left a great tip. TIP YOUR SERVERS and BARTENDERS people! read more

I went for dinner with 2 other people. I ordered a double burger medium rare, plain, meat and a bun, I said. Nothing on it. It comes out and it has Bubba sauce on it. The waitress asks if I want a new bun. I said I want a new burger. Meanwhile the other 2 in my party are eating. A few minutes later my "New" burger comes out, only it's the same burger with a new bun. Burger still has Bubba sauce on it. The waitress again asks if I want a new burger. I said "Take it off my bill, I'm done here". She says she'll get the manager. After everyone is done eating the manager brings the bill and says he took both burgers off the bill. Both burgers? So you screw one burger up and add the replacement burger to the bill besides? And charge for two wrong burgers? And then make it seem like you're doing me a favor by taking them off the bill? Then he gives me a coupon for a free burger on my next visit. Really? I'm going to order a burger AGAIN the next time? Don't think there will be a next time for me. read more

The best part of the restaurant was the manager, Caroline, who was exceptional! She made sure we were satisfied with our order, since it was our first visit. We won't be returning, but she deserves a shout out for trying! read more

last 2 times service was very slow and it was not even busy.Had to ask twice for plates for the pizza. Last time we went for wife's birthday. She loves your burgers. This one was under cooked she barely ate it. also. the last 2 times no managers stop by to say their How's anything. Maybe that is the reason for the deline in service and food. We having been coming a couple of times a month. Sometimes weekly. Now not sure if it is worth the trip up from Hazlet. read more

The staff and the manager I would give 5 stars. The food greasy, greasy, greasy. Everything else is nice. The TVs, the staff, the cleanliness excellent. When you get the hamburgers or the onion rings your fingers are filled with grease. We have been here 4x's over the last year thinking it might be the cook. Each time it was just as greasy. Really wanted to like this place however today the boneless chicken had a lot of grease in the basket. Won't go again. read more

Yo the burgers here are fucking bomb. Mad good, def try it. And it's mad affordable. Def will come here again.

Had a new menu item, the chipotle shrimp and chicken pasta. It was very good other than the fact the shrimp did not taste fresh. I picked them out. I would order this again if it was chicken only. Also the menu said it was topped with cilantro, but there was no cilantro. The sauce was excellent. read more

Staff is very friendly and the food was so good. The burgers and pizza are amazing. I ordered wings they were extremely dry, but still good.

Bubba's 33 is a welcome and delicious addition to the area! The staff is incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic and really made our visit enjoyable! The management staff ensured everything was running smoothly and visited every single table to check in. And of course- the food was great!! The South of the Border Burger was juicy and perfectly spicy and the fries were stellar - crispy and seasoned just right. The Shotgun Shrimp was definitely my favorite dish so far! Can't wait to go back! Congratulations on your opening!! read more
