Came here a couple timed for takeout and love the food here! Only one chef in the kitchen but everything is prepared fresh and with quality ingredients. Forgot to take a pic but I always get the cuban quesadilla! I haven't had the chance to try anything else cause I keep ordering the same thing. Very small but nice spot music playing very welcoming. I ordered two bowls pineapple express and sweet chili shrimp added chicken to it. Also ordered fried ravioli and jalapeno poppers , first off if you order a bowl no need to order anything else the bowls are huge. They shrimp are jumbo and cooked perfectly. The jalapeno poppers and ravioli were good as well, we really enjoyed the food will definitely go back and try some other food. read more

I came to this spot after seeing their Facebook advertisement for Lobster Weekend -- and I'm so glad I did! I ordered for pick-up and was immediately greeted by the girl at the counter who was very friendly and attentive. Great customer service -- I wish I had gotten her name! The place itself is small, with a hole-in-the-wall feel, but has a modern, contemporary vibe and great lighting. Limited seating, but cozy, and it's BYOB! I ordered the lobster bisque (honestly one of the best I've ever had), lobster tacos, lobster mac & cheese, and the twin lobster tail specials. Everything was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The food was so good, I didn't even realize I forgot to take pictures until I was completely done! This is a very interesting place. The food we had was excellent, the buildout of this restaurant is welcoming. Small place with BYOB for dine in service is appreciated. Many people were ordering and picking up food for take out. So the volume of meals being served is impressive. The menu has a great variety of dishes with a strong and varied quesadilla selection. I found this incredibly cool, but innocuous looking Lunch spot, on Yelp! It is situated alongside a busy highway. Hector's is a small, snack bar-looking place ... a tiny enclave with a wraparound lunch counter, a few round metal window stools ... and an absolutely enormous menu! The food options are seemingly endless! And quite innovative, I might add. Hector's offers over 100 different overstuffed burgers, burritos, quesadillas, sandwiches ... even a few salads. Plus, an entire page devoted to some epic sounding Mac n' Cheese and "Loaded Fries" combos. My son ordered an epic sounding Loaded Mac n' Cheese combo, featuring too many ingredients to mention. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla, which was stuffed with crispy chicken, peppers, and at least a half pound of queso. Both dishes were huge, and decidedly delicious. To top it off, the service was terrific, served up by a super attentive & friendly young lady from PR. Hector, the Owner & Chef even took a few minutes away from the grill to BS with the half dozen happy customers sitting at the counter. All in all, one of the more enjoyable surprise lunches I have had since moving to Jersey ... in 1999! lol read more

1.The food - was basic, missed the mark. Wasn't flavorful. 2.The menu- no options for kids which is fine, understandable but this is an FYI for parents. They have other options for adults, variety of stuff. 3.The service- waitress was nice but not very attentive. We ordered water and didn't get it til we got the food. And then we were charged for it and when we asked, she said she gave us bottle water. Didn't realize cause it came in a regular cup... and I don't mind paying but tell us ahead I guess would've been the helpful part. 4.The attitude from the chef- why is this even a thing in my list? Well... he was loud and we heard him. When our orders were given to him, he was very loud and said "we don't have it, we are out. It's 8p and we close at 1" . He was talking about our that came with the meal & I get it- they were out but the way he went on and on and his tone was kinda nasty, not appealing for us paying customers. 5. Accommodations- Our option to sub the fries was coleslaw or pickles OR pay for the up charge of curly fries. I kept thinking why not give us the curly fries to replace the reg vs a pickle- that made no sense to me. Fries would replace fries- even if you ran out of reg fries, that's not my problem. I would think the solution would be to take the hit because you ran out and not charge us for upgraded fries. I told the server to just give me the fries on my order and to just give my son the sliders . They put the fries on my sons plate which is whatever, we are sitting togeher but again, not following orders- my sons whole meal was just we took him to McDonald's after to make up for it. 5.Following very simple requests for food- told them to just make my son's food (sliders) with no veggies , no horseradish and they gave him all of that. Stopped in for lunch and was blown away by the menu. The number of choices to pick from were plentiful indeed. The customer service was so warm and welcoming. The food was topnotch! We ordered the chilli cheese burger. It was insane! Deliciously insane! Our side of French fries was enough for 4 people. The chicken quesadilla was the best that I've ever had.
