Decided to try somewhere new to watch the football games and so we tried Bubba's 33. This place is my new favorite spot. I tried the onion rings my goodness best onion rings I ever had. I also tried the cheese steak, Stromboli and fish and chips! Everything was good and the drinks were even better. Ask for Amanda she can a make a drink she took the time out to explain the menu and give her recommendations by the time I left I felt like a regular. I really enjoy going to Bubba's 33 but the last 2 times I went there I order pizza with onions on it and the pizza had one onion slice on each slice on the pizza, the manager told me it was Quality control I was like really you control the onions I never heard such a thing... The manager did offer to make me another pizza and that pizza had quality control onion on it toooo.. So if you like a lot of onions on your pizza you will definitely get quality control.. lol read more

i want to start this review by saying i NEVER leave reviews for restaurants. ever. but i felt so strongly that i have to write a review. i actually hate giving any type of negative feedback but this has to be said. i genuinely love bubbas so much. i'm here all the time. but i'm giving a 1 star review solely based on one specific employee for several reasons, mostly in hopes that something will be done about it. i always have a great experience.... EXCEPT when i have Trent as a server or have to interact with him in some way. i have been here probably over 50 times whether with family or friends etc. i have had so many different servers and generally have great experiences- besides when i have Trent as a server. i've had him as a sever like 3 or 4 times, but there have been other times i've had to interact with him (bartender, bringing appetizers etc.) and every. single. time. i interact with him he acts like i am the biggest inconvenience of all time and completely ruins the dining experience here. i'm still going to continue coming here but i will do everything to avoid this dude at all costs from here on out, even if that means requesting being served by someone else. he seriously kills the whole entire vibe whenever speaking with him. side note: i used to be a server. i know what it's like to be stressed, annoyed, tired etc. but this dude has literally made comments about me and my party under his breath, shoots dirty looks and avoids eye contact, never ever says "you're welcome" when being thanked (which isn't a big deal btw, but feel as though it's on purpose because of his demeanor,) and just has an overall bad take on what customer experience actually means. if this was one time it would be completely different because i know everyone has bad days. but EVERY SINGLE time i have been served by him or have to speak to him has been so awkward and overall a terrible experience because he's so blatantly rude. he has an attitude problem for sure which i sincerely hope is addressed. the food and drinks are great and it's usually always a hit. but if you are dining here and get Trent as a server, ask to switch to a different server if you want to have a good and non toxic experience!!!! read more

I have dined here a few times and enjoyed the experience and the food. My takeaway today is....DO NOT go ALONE.....I was inside, seated at the bar for 10 minutes without any of the 6 servers or 2 bartenders even making eye contact. As a recent widow, the dining alone experience is. O longer a choice and the staff made me feel as though my potential low check average was not worth their time. We ate at the Glen Burnie location. I ordered the fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. My husband ordered the lasagna and my daughter ordered the Salmon plate. My son ordered their chicken tenders. Well my chicken platter tasted like someone spilled the salt shaker/ garlic salt all over my plate. It was really over powering and I couldn't eat it. My daughter's Salmon came out on top of fries and she said they were soggy due to the juices from the Salmon made them that way. My husband said that his Lasagna was good but salty.Our waitress, we had to wave down just to get a refill on drinks and for ketchup the whole time. Their Tenders are always great but not everything. I would have ordered a burger but I like mine medium rare. Not well! So I'll never order one from here. They need to bring down the Salt Lick from all of their food. read more

Was thinking about the Dickie V's pizza all day cuz it's national pizza day. Went on Friday 2/9/24 and waited 20 minutes for a table in the bar, ( do I have to tell you how loud it is in there?) Ok, it'll all be better when that awesome pizza gets to the table! 20 minutes later the server comes to tell us that she put our order in for the 12" instead of the 16". She said she ordered a second 12" for us and would charge us for a 16". My husband wasn't ok with that and told her "if we wanted a 12" we would have ordered 12". Then a manager comes over and explains again why we should take 2 small pizzas instead of waiting for the large. We waited for the large. A slice and a half later another manager comes and asks if everything is good and the look on my husband's face told her that it was definitely not. So we tell her the story and she says she's sorry for the problems and said she'd make sure we'd only pay for a 12" pizza. Not only did we not get compensated but my husband was so upset that he forgot to take our leftovers. The pizza was delicious as always but the service was lacking. Idk how long it will be before I can talk him into going back. read more

This is a new joint in Glen Burnie and this was our first visit. It was a mixed experience. First off, the layout is really cool. The bar is separated from the restaurant by a glass wall (we were on the bar side). Lots of TVs with sports and FailArmy from ChiveTV which I personally loved. Next, our waitresses (Sierra) was very personable and a friendly person. If not for her, we may have left earlier than we did. We did apps instead of entrees to get a fuller sense of the cooking style. We did loaded fries and wings to start. They were good. Nothing that blew us away but not bad either. The place really filled up (obviously Glen Burnie wants this place to be successful) and we ordered some chicken nachos. They took a REALLY long time to come out. Sierra kept apologizing and told us the "A team" was not in the kitchen tonight. I guess that makes sense it's a new place and it's the day after Christmas. The nachos finally came out and the order was wrong. Had to get them redone. Took 10 minutes to redo and came out correct. Like I said, it was a mixed experience. Not good enough to rave about it, but not so bad that we'll swear it off. We'll wait a couple weeks and try again. read more

Finally decided to give this place a try. I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the burger with bacon, cheese and bubba sauce. The sauce was kinda bbq mayoish. It added a nice touch to the burger which was cooked perfectly! I decide to man up and get the fire fries. They were very good, the seasoning kinda tasted the hot fries you get buy from grocery store. Not to hot but after almost eating all of them my mouth was feeling it. I'm all about giving places second chances so we will return. This place is owned by same company as Texas Roadhouse (they were very smart in menu and placement of restaurant). It had the same vibe as Roadhouse. We were seated right away (Sunday evening at 8). We waited quite a while before seeing a waitress. She got our drinks and said she would return. After another long wait a waitress stop by and asked if anyone helped us. She said everyone is confused about what tables they have. Gave our waitress our order fish sandwich, hot wings and mozzarella sticks. My husband asked for wings extra crispy with a side of the hot sauce they put the wings on. Both of our drinks needed refills. After another long wait our order arrived. She asked if we needed anything...... the missing hot sauce and refills. She brought back one drink not two, and something that wasn't hot sauce. The fish sandwich was so cold on the center and the wings were NOT crispy. Towards the end of the meal waitress stopped by again..... she asks if we need anything. My husband was in mid sentence saying "yes we still need........" when table behind her taps her on shoulder saying something was wrong with their check. She didn't even turn back around just rushed to help him. After her coming and going 3 times figuring out their check she finally asked us if we wanted anything. We had been there for 1.10 hours at this point. I couldn't even look her in the face just said check. We paid and left. I'm disappointed in the service and question if this feeling is strictly with the waitress. The food wasn't that bad and I know the waitress didn't cook the food. How would this be different if we had a more attentive waitress. I guess we will see when we try it again. Updated! 2nd visit. It was ok! Shotgun shrimp is good. Learned I love the wedge salad. I'm really confused by this menu. I just don't get the pizza vibe here. UPDATE!!! Now 3rd visit....... save yourself!!! We are two hours in since order began, horrible service. I just don't know what they are doing and why this service is sooo bad. Tried the pizza this time. Not a fan! Too many pizza places in this area too this place. The pizza was so gross (half cheese/half pep), that out of our party of 4 only one full slice was consumed. No one even wanted to take it home. Third try with the wings and they still aren't great. This place is so awesome. We've gone twice in a span of 1 week. Delicious both times. The burgers are incredibly juicy, like SERIOUSLY juicy. This second time I had the California chicken and man I could've drank the lime and honey sauce that topped the chicken. The dish was outta this world and the sweet potato fries were the perfect side to go with it. Every staff member was incredibly personable and gave great service in every aspect. Managers seemed to be floating about or helping with food running, but you can tell they are about maintaining a certain standard of service. TVs everywhere which is great for people like my husband and I because we'll definitely be popping in for basketball and football season. My brother in law flew in to visit us for a few weeks and guess where we're going tonight for dinner? Bubbas We're new customers to bubbas and can't believe we've never heard of the place before until recently. The goal is to try their pizza tonight, but idk that California chicken photo is bringing back delicious memories lol. Oh another thing, they seem to great with children! So this last time we went we were seated on a warmer side of the restaurant than last time and my toddler and infant were sweating/getting uncomfortable. We asked the waitress if it would be possible to move but then she brought up an interesting little tidbit: they have these little portable misting fans! My husband and I didn't want to hassle anyone with moving and we just wanted the kids to be comfortable so we said yes to the fans. The waitress brought one for each kid and it was an instant relief. One kid calmed down and the other knocked out for a nap lol. Keep in mind we had literally just walked in from being outside where it was scorching, so our bodies hadn't adjusted yet. But after a few minutes of being seated we were fine and with the fans on our kids, we knew they were definitely good.
