We chose to sit at a table and received wonderful, warm service from both the bartender and the owner or manager, whose names unfortunately escape me. This is a fast casual chain restaurant. While it comes up as a Mexican restaurant, there are also some Hawaiian flavors sprinkled throughout the menu. When you walk in, you normally head to the counter to place your order. For the tacos, you choose your protein, with options including poultry, pork, seafood, tofu, or vegetables. Having vegan options is always a plus. For entrees, they offer several choices featuring enchiladas or tacos served with rice and beans. If those aren't your thing, there's also a fish sandwich and a Shredder sandwich. According to the menu, you can substitute the black beans and regular salad, although the alternate choices do cost extra. There are also several bowls if you'd rather go that route. We ordered the Two Enchiladas Entree and the Two Tacos Entree. -Two Enchiladas Entree - 4/5 Delicious enchiladas with some nice vegetables inside. My friend enjoyed them but wished they had been a little more filling and had more vegetables. -Two Tacos Entree - 4.5/5 I ordered one shrimp taco and one salmon taco. The next time I'm back, I'm sticking with the shrimp because that taco was outstanding! The shrimp were succulent and perfectly cooked, with a sweet and savory sauce that paired brilliantly with the citrus salad topping. They were not overcooked, which made all the difference. In contrast, the wild-caught salmon, which costs extra, was dry. They did give me a generous portion, but unfortunately, the salmon was overcooked, so I was underwhelmed by that taco. Overall, we had a very good experience with good food, warm service, and plenty of choices. The decor is best described as fun and playful.
