I did have a bunch of their sauces and salsas. None really stood out except their green sauce, which was used sporadically. Birria Tacos - These were very good. The consommé was flavorful, while the beef was tender. The tortilla was crisp too even with the consommé added. Elote Corn - This was rather plain. There was only a crema and cotija cheese present. It seemed like chili powder was supposed to be added, but I did not taste or see any. The corn could have been cooked a little better too. Guacamole - This was tasty. It appeared fresh and paired well with the chips given. I really liked the texture of it too. Chicken Flautas - These were deep fried tortillas with chicken, sour cream, lettuce, and cotija cheese I believe. These were solid. The chicken could have been seasoned a little more, but the tortillas were crisp and held up. Choriqueso Con Tortillas Tostadas - This was melted jack and Oaxacan cheese topped with Mexican chorizo over toasted nixtamal homemade corn tortillas. The cheese and chorizo was excellent, with lots of flavor. It did not look the best but tasted good. The corn tortilla was either old and stale or just fried way too long as it was very tough to chew. It could have made for a great bite. Will I go back? Debatable.

The restaurant is cute painted with murals. They are a byob establishment. I had a fresh watermelon juice, not sure, but I think it had sugar added. It was so large I requested a Togo cup to take the rest home. My friend had the divorciados chiliquillas they were good, but the eggs were cooked well. We would have preferred runny yolks. Definitely will go back.

Sat in the restaurant for dinner and were greeted by the entire staff (including the amazing chef). They started us off with an incredibly tasty, free, bean dip, salsas and chips. We then quickly got our entrees- steak tacos, Mexican spicy sausage tacos and a chicken burrito. The tacos came with this wonderfully rich, tangy cactus and veggies on the side. I'd go back just for the cactus! The longanzana (spicy sausage) was juicier and IMO better than chorizo. Less spicy and more flavor. The tortillas are hand made. Honestly best I've had on the east coast (including NYC). The chicken burrito was also fantastic. We were blown away by the quality and can't wait to go back for another family meal. They said they'd have desserts soon so can't wait to try that.

Dos Banditos bring excellent tacos to this part of New Jersey. Growing up in the Garden State, I must say that I never thought that I would find tacos of this caliber here. Please do not misunderstand, I am not saying these are the best tacos that I have ever had in my life. However, these tacos are very good. And when I say very good, I mean very good. These tacos are so good. They will have your soul dancing to an imaginary mariachi band and making you wish that sombreros were a fashionable fashion statement. If you are seeking quality Mexican food comma head over this way periods I promise that you will not be disappointed. With a full stomach, I happily give it four () stars and I so wish that those stolarz could be wearing sombreros. I recommend that you give them a try sooner than later.

But it has grown in popularity and a favorite spot for NJ's Mexican population who travel here from all over the state for their tacos that remind them of home! You can watch the cooks shear the meat right before your eyes and load the meat into mini soft tortillas with onions and cilantro (and cheese if you ask for it). They stuff so much meat in these tacos that you can split each taco into two smaller tacos since they use 2 tortillas with each taco. Great for kids! You get 4 or 5 tacos per order which is less than $10. Incredible deal!! On your way out the English speaking cashier will take you to the refrigerator to pick out some sauce cups for you to take home. There are so many sauces to choose from. The orange one is really hot!!! You can ask her for help she choose a variety for me including mild. I would suggest getting between 1.5-2 sauce cups for EACH taco order. The dark red chipotle sauce was excellent too! I would suggest getting your tacos with cheese except the pork shoulder taco which comes with pineapple. I really enjoyed the tacos with steak or ribs the most. The chicken was great too! Highly recommend to try the food here. NOTE: This is NOT a restaurant. Yes there are a few casual tables here but seating but no waiters etc.
