I interviewed several companies for our complete backyard remodel, and it was apparent from the beginning that Sean was the best. He came up with a creative design for our backyard that provided more privacy; an entertainment space with a bar, tv, fire pit; and an outdoor kitchen. He asks questions to understand what your needs are and how you envision yourself using your yard to come up with a 3-D rendering of your ideal space. Sean has an eye for design and thinks of the big picture and the small details. We had to wait several months for the crew to start, but in my mind that was a good sign that Envirogreen was well sought after. They were worth the wait! Envirogreen has their own crews, instead of a bunch of subcontractors. Their crew, led by Abraham, was punctual, reliable, and hardworking. They showed up 5-6 days a week and worked long days until our project was complete. This kind of work ethic and reliability is so rare these days. Sean communicated with us throughout the entire process and his insights allowed us to make some decisions to improve the original plan as needed (i.e.- installed one bigger propane tank to serve our smoker, grill, fire pit, and indoor stove instead of added another smaller one). From the moment we met him, we knew he was going to be the contractor we chose for a full landscape design and implementation from a straight dirt lot. He was the only contractor that arrived on time, came prepared to work, listened to all four of the decision makers for our house, and suggested solutions to resolve all concerns. We hired him to design the landscape which he did on a 3D software that gave us a real feel for what it would look like in real life - honestly, do not hire a designer if they dont provide a 3D drawing. The design was impeccable, every detail was so well thought out and he included features that really showed he was listening to every word we said. We made a few minor changes and he returned the updated designs promptly and exactly as promised. After we all approved the designs, he got his team out to do the install and that was really impressive to watch. His team that ramped up to 10 people was on time every morning and all left after a full days work. Sean's timeframe was spot on, and after he was completed, we were so excited about our new, beautiful landscape. What was once a pile of dirt became a masterpiece, and Sean was our Picasso. That's not all though, I always wait to review until after an issue has been dealt with. We have had a nagging problem with our valves failing causing excess water near the valve box. Sean sent guys immediately that day to resolve the issue by changing the valves. It happened again and Sean realized it was not the valves, but the water pressure, so the day after that he sent out a plumber who did the work on the spot, no questions ask and no additional cost. So it's easy to see why our family has been so impressed with Sean, from his kindness and sincerity at the beginning, to his incredible design talent, to his great installation team, and most importantly his willingness to resolve issues after they are found. Over the last few years after I purchased it, I got 3 quotes from 3 different companies to do a section of turf. I never committed to a company to do it because I didn't feel confident they could deliver what I wanted. Fast forward to two weeks, I met with Sean from Turf Monsters. After hearing my vision for the yard, he was quick about getting me their quote on the same day. Not only that, but he had an extensive knowledge of the kinds of turf they had that would fit my yard best, the process of whole installation, how to maintain it, etc. It wasn't a hard choice; I chose them to do my turf project feeling confident they would handle the job well. And did they ever! At my request, they managed to get my installation scheduled earlier than originally planned. Materials were dropped off and installers showed up as scheduled on the day they began. Every single encounter during the installation was professional and friendly. It took less than the original two-day quote for the 25'x30' area, the three man installation team finishing in only one day. And it turned out better than I had imagined it to! The bright green turf looks stunning with the original rock landscape against it. And the dogs are beyond happy with it, running around and wrestling on it, but also relaxing on it too as it doesn't get super hot in the sun.
