After being in the DMV area for four years, I have FINALLY found a stylist that meets all my needs. Brittany is extremely professional, talented, and has a warm, welcoming personality. Her suite is clean, inviting, and comfortable and she even offers snacks and drinks for her clients. She's thought of everything to ensure your experience at BUBB is a pleasant one and that you leave your appointment satisfied. Those who know me well know that I am very picky (not in a rude way!) about my hair. They were shocked when I had no complaints about my experience at BUBB, especially with how great my hair looked. In the past, we've found stylists who do great work but don't have the best customer service...or, they've got great service but we don't really like their work. BUBB is the best of both worlds. I've had two appointments so far and will definitely be a repeat customer. My hair wasn't in the best condition when I went for my first appointment. I got stitch cornrows done. Brit did fantastic work of it. Very good quality, hair woven like a basket, did not hurt one bit. Hair was also included. Booking the appointment was easy on her website, you get to see very detailed style information, which also helps with making sure you get exactly what you're looking for. The salon is in one of the new boutique collection "malls" style where there are tons of same type boutiques in the building. Nice atmosphere. Also in the beautiful Bowie Town Center, which means you have a few options to while away time while you wait. If you book on her website, check your email for information on your booking the day before your appointment. I wish I got notification after booking that I would, I only got a receipt and didn't get an immediate email. Wasn't sure of the address or suite number, had to call and google. My whole experience was excellent even though I was sleepy she was very patient with me. My braids were not overly tight as a lot of braid specialit's like to do and have ur edges bumping up. She was very informative and uses natural products that will help your hair grow. She also can advise you what you should put in your hair and what you shouldn't to help ur hair grow. Brittany is what Waldorf has needed for years! Someone who not only braids her butt off but also is adamant about making sure she addresses the health of your hair. Many braiders in the area do not care about your hair, your time, and are focused on overbooking and making sure to just get you in the seat. You will get the complete opposite from Brittany. Drive an hour to get to BUBBZ because I had been researching a good place to get my braids done (first timer) and someone referred me to Brittany. Brittany is a fantastic braider! The best part about getting my hair braided by her is that THEY DON'T HURT! I used to hate getting my hair braided because I am so tender-headed and could not stand the pain, but with Brittany, it doesn't hurt at all. I found Britt on Instagram thru a friend of a friend and decided to give it a try. After the salons and braid shops being closed for Covid 19, my hair was in desperate need of attention. My appointment was at 1:30 and I was done around 2:45. No pain, no running to the bathroom afterwards for being in a chair for 5 hours.! She is friendly, professional and has a near and clean suite. Britt is very professional. She follows all the COVID19 guidelines. I recently got the medium knotless braids. I was very shocked on how long it took for her to do my hair!
