My partner and I did order take out from here a couple times, but most recently both got very sick. Not sure if the food was left out or what. We will be taking a break from here.

This restaurant is located in a small strip mall with other restaurants (and an ice cream shop). The decor is modern and bright with wood floors, 3 booths, 4 four person tables, and 3 two person tables. We were seated right away and handed menus. We placed our order within 5 minutes. There is modern music playing softly in the background... but loud enough to not understand the conversations of the other tables near us. Which we appreciated. My husband ordered the Pad Thai with Beef and I ordered the Massaman Curry with Vegetables. The temperature of the restaurant was perfect, not hot or cold. There were at least 5 food order pickups so they have a busy business! We were the second table at 5:30pm and at least three other tables came in after us. The food is excellent!! I highly recommend dining here!

I found this little gem when searching for Thai food in the area. I can tell you right now that the prices are more than reasonable for the ample portions they have. If you think Bua is even remotely expensive then you should try White Crane in Naperville. That place is way overpriced for the same food. Bua is tucked away in a small strip. Not a lot of traffic. We didn't need any reservations when we walked in after 7:40 pm. We were seated right away. The owner is very friendly and attentive. Food came out fast and fresh. We ordered Thai ice tea, beef pad si-ew, tofu pad thai, massaman curry, and mango sticky rice. -Thai ice tea 5 - very refreshing. I like the glass it came in. -beef pad si-ew 4 - beef was tough and chewy. Not sure if it's because we came in closer to closing time. The sauce and noodles were good. Noodles are a little chew. -tofu pad thai 5 - noodles are chewy and sauce isn't bland. Good amount of tofu pieces. Colorful dish with the sufficient amount of veggies. -beef massaman curry 4 - not spicy. Very creamy. Could use a bit more flavor. Good amount of meat but beef was overcooked. A bit chewy and tough. -mango sticky rice 5 - big pieces of mango. Sticky rice was a little sweet. Seasonal dessert only.

The dining area is very clean and inviting, I'm sure you will love this place, if you like Thai food you need to try Bua Kitchen.

This place is a hidden gem, the appetizers are delicious we always get a couple each and then a bowl of tom yum soup, the soup comes in a couple of heat levels so depending on how daring you are, I say go hot, you get to choose your protein we love the shrimp.

Their noodle and fried rice dishes are good, and they have the best Thai iced tea around. Their food is better when you dine-in than when you order delivery (pad Thai has always been a miss as a delivery but good when dining in). Service is usually fast, and the place is clean. Good Thai option in the Darien area.

Not sure if it's the fact that I haven't good Thai food in quite some time, but I really enjoyed the food from here. They are open for dine in now (previously we had try to come here but it was take out only). While it's a relatively small dining area in a small shopping plaza, the service was quick and the portions are good sized. For food we tried the hot and sour coconut milk based soup with chicken to start, it was delicious. I can never resist a good tom kha kai. For main entrees, a pad thai with chicken, pad si-ew with beef, and a basil fried rice. Honestly all of it was good and hit the spot, and we had a decent amount of food to take home. For now, I call this my favorite Thai spot in the western burbs until proven otherwise. Last thing to note, is that they are BYOB and it's conveniently located is a liquor store next door. That's all I got on this one. 'Til next time, cheers!

The service here is impeccable. The food and appetizers are AMAZING!!!!!! We discovered a new place to eat.

The food is fabulous. Service was fast. Definitely the best Thai restaurant in Meridian. We had fried duck with basil sauce and the pad woon sen with shrimp.

What a hidden gem! Was so glad to find a place with sticky rice & ripe mango, yum! Also lucky to have come in on a day when they were serving the spicy chicken pot sticker special.

3.5/5 stars. The panang curry was on the sweet side and the mango sticky rice was ok.

That said, the sushi was nothing too impressive -- it was decent, but lacked that fresh, standout flavor you'd expect from a great sushi spot. The Crab Rangoon was okay, but nothing memorable. One thing that really took away from the experience was that the glasses of water were not clean, which was disappointing and unsanitary. Overall, it's an average place that might satisfy a casual craving, but there's definitely room for improvement in both quality and attention to cleanliness.

There were a lot of customers dining in for Sunday dinner. For this first visit, I tried: SHRIMP TEMPURA DINNER- I was kind of disappointed with the batter that was used. It was more of a Panko breading rather than the Tempura batter. The Panko breading did make it crispier but I was actually looking forward to having the original tempura batter. MEXICAN ROLL- this was delicious. I loved the fresh cilantro in each roll. PORK BELLY UDON- very satisfying. Parking was easy since it is located in a strip mall. The place was clean and the service was attentive. I would come back and try their other rolls and dishes on the menu. 'Til next time!

The staff checked to make sure eggs were OK and pointed out that the egg rolls contain chicken. We got the spring roll, pad kee mao and the pad thai, a Thai iced coffee (they brought tea, oops) and a Squirt soda. Service was friendly and fairly quick. The spring roll, as others have noted, was falling apart. It appeared to be fried tofu, bean sprouts and maybe some bok choy, so it was mostly a textural experience. We weren't crazy about the sweet brown sauce it was drizzled with. The pad kee mao was noted as "spicy" but it wasn't. It had a nice variety of vegetables, though I could see but not really taste the basil and the broccoli was a bit undercooked. It was fine, but not very flavorful. The pad thai was basically noodles and fried tofu with the usual accoutrements (peanuts; lime; bean sprouts); not sure if they forgot to add the egg after we said it was OK. Overall, fine if you're local but not worth a special trip, at least not for the noodle dishes. $45 including tip.

Baisi Thai is actually a pretty nice looking one, even though it's clearly run on the cheap. Maybe the food isn't as nice as the pictures, and maybe the portions aren't as big as they let on. The food still tasted better than we thought it would be though. Came at lunch. It was quiet and there was no one else eating inside, which could have been a bad sign. This was also on the weekend. Maybe it's just because of the location. This is on 63rd a ways from the shopping center with Mariano's and stuff. Boring looking area. It's about $11 for an entree. Good prices, cheaper than at many other Thai restaurants apparently. I got the Pad Kee Mao. This is flat rice noodles with basil, garlic, and mixed vegetables. Choose a protein. I got tofu. Good spice but it was a pretty small portion. She got the Pad Thai. Again, small portion. That's why it was so cheap it seems. Better than expected as far as flavor, as it can get pretty hot. It's overall good with the only bad thing about it is they skimp on the portions. There's plenty of choices for vegans and vegetarians.
