I wish I could give these guys 10 stars!! I ordered $400 worth of moulding from BT moulding and the contractor that was doing my work said he'd pick it up the next day. Miguel and Roberto were SO nice first of all and told me they didn't have a lot of room to hold the order, but they'd keep it till I could retrieve it. My contractor ended up flaking on me TWICE, so I kept calling and apologizing and changing my pick up time and finally just asked for a refund. I probably ended up calling a total of 6-7 times. And each time I called the person I spoke with was kind, understanding, patient and even empathetic to my plight. I felt so bad asking for a refund but Miguel was SO courteous and sweet, he gave me an immediate refund and since he understood this wasn't my fault, he waived the restocking fee as a courtesy. This is by far some the THEE best customer service I've received in a VERY LONG time. Especially since I was just ghosted by 2 contractors. Whenever I get someone I can trust to do my work, I'll be using them again and will tell anyone who listens to go to BT Moulding!!! read more

Living downtown where our homes are old and unique, sometimes you're going to have to did that piece of trim or moulding that needs replacing. I did. And I found BT Moulding - actually, I was pointed there by a other firm that only carried MDF interior stuff and I needed real wood for exterior work. These folks have real wood trim, plenty of it, and exactly the crown moulding I needed to match the original. And if they don't, the mill is right there and they can make it for you in a day or two. Tom and his company normally does a great job but unfortunately this time it was anything but. Now I want everyone to know that he does have great products and the pricing is perfect. I want everyone to know this is not a rant on the products or anything. This is an issues with follow through and quality of service. Normally if you go in they write you up and take a deposit (if it's a special order). The turn around time is usually good as well about 5-7 business days for special orders. That being said. In my experience talk orders over the phone or sending an email does not guarantee anything. In my last experience the sales person told me I didn't need to give a deposit as he said they were running the style I needed at the end of the week, which was strange but for me great at the time. He had called a little bit later to let me know that the base would be ready monday mid day, to which I told him awesome, I would be there early Tuesday morning and confirmed who would be working. I called Monday mid day to check on the time and the person I spoke to states that I had no work orders listed and that they were only holding the 2 stocks I had asked about 2 weeks before. What?!? I explained my needs and what I had gone over with the other person about. Unfortunately no one knew who I spoke of or anything about the order. Though this person I spoke to had excellent knowledge of the stock and everything, no one knew anything. The bugger is my guy was coming for painting all the base and trim and now I'm looking at paying for him to come out twice not to mention that the home owner is looking for the base to be there. So then I ask for an email address so that I can send an email of the order to them as I am giving the big benefit of the doubt. After sending it over and verifying that it was received with M, I felt a little more confident. I had spoken to Tom, which I have great confidence and know he is a great guy, about everything and he thanks me for talking with him. Arriving on Tuesday morning, B was able to help me get loaded up and though my base was not there I could at least have all the door trim done. At the job site we realize, as we are getting the trim installed, that we are short, by a lot. I call in and they look into it. I had told them 5 doors front and back, received just over half. So they add that to the pick up on Thursday. I am looking good. I get to explain that even though my email said 5 doors front and back, I am short and no real base. Try to look good to a home owner like that. So Thursday morning I get there and I have to pay for the additional trim that was mistakenly missing and for the balance of the base. Normally an order has your name on it and sitting on a rack ready for you, not this time. After 20 minutes, we find the base, it was never pulled and the paperwork was at the mills still, the base, put away ready for the next customer. Glad I was the first one in or I could have been buggered. The long and short of this is in my experience; With my experience Email or walk in is best. Phone calls are not always clear and there is no record. I will always Get a copy of the work order, if there is no work order it didn't happen If I email a future order, I will ensure I get a faxed copy of the work order. For myself i will always make sure that I know the footage I need, mistakes happen and the amount you need may not come with you. Overall this experience isn't worth a five star though before their service was over the top excellent. I wish them the best and look forward to working with them in the future, though with more accountability. read more

I found the BT Moulding through yelp while I was searching the Internet for a set of correct mouldings that I need for our garage's side door; the types of moulding that neither Lowe's and Home Depot surprisingly do not carry. I stopped by at their manufacturing plant at 35th Ave and Thomas Rd. The lady who entertained me took her time to help me find the kind of moulding I actually need. And I am very grateful for that. I went to their vendor to pick up the reasonably priced mouldings that she has ordered for me. I was able to do the job on my garage side door with exactly the type of moulding that I need. I certainly and highly recommend BT Moulding for different moulding needs. read more
