My wife and I were looking for a designer to remodel our master suite and decorate our family and…read moreliving rooms. Our search was very clear. We wanted a departure from the many generic interiors we encountered while searching for a designer. We were looking for creativity, innovation, intelligence, functionality, and most importantly, beauty. That is how we came across Ernesto Garcia's website, which immediately captured our attention. His interiors are orderly and well-appointed, with an emotional resonance that makes them comfortable and inviting. Ernesto arrived at our home with his approachable and urbane demeanor and quickly began sketching with the confidence and skill of an artist. Within minutes, he presented a complete and detailed vision for our master suite. Remarkably, the finished project resembles those early sketches so closely that the result is dazzling. Ernesto's architectural background proved essential to the success of this complex project. He masterfully guided everyone through each phase of the process, delivering refined and highly livable spaces that we enjoy every day. Over time, our professional relationship evolved into a treasured friendship filled with social gatherings, entertaining, and intimate dinners. We now count Ernesto among our dearest friends and wholeheartedly recommend his work to anyone who values the profound impact beautiful interiors can have on quality of life. Ernesto often says, "If you take care of your environment, your environment will take care of you." We have found that to be profoundly true. John & Bonnie Stallone

If I had unlimited budget I would have Ernesto design my entire home! He is incredibly talented,…read morebold, fearless and innovative. He is also quite fun to work with! I hired Ernesto after my failed attempt to pull together matching finishes for a kitchen that desperately needed updating. I had already installed flooring and counters... and gone through more than one iteration of backsplash tile. Ernesto bravely agreed to take on this troubled project. In the end I ended up repainting the cabinets from the first color we agreed on which felt dark and dreary. And am now planning to change the expensive wallpaper and custom faux finished hood included in his design. The biggest issue is that the warm brown is overpowering and this is literally my least favorite color. So as soon as I enter my kitchen I just want to leave. The other challenge is that some of the items he recommended were far out of my price range ($2500 for a single barstool). So I felt I had to source my own because he was adamant that we go with the custom one he advised. Had I had unlimited budget I certainly would have as they were beautiful and undoubtedly the highest quality. Durability was another concern with my pets and family. So the beautiful marble tile he selected for our bathroom just doesn't suit us. I would have preferred the relatively indestructible porcelain tile but... I hired a designer to advise me... not to debate. It is indeed luxuriously beautiful, but it windowpanes with each shower. Ernesto says this is because my installer didn't install it correctly. Either way: porcelain would have better suited us. So absolutely I would recommend anybody with a larger budget to hire Ernesto. And certainly some lessons learned on my end with regards to,first and foremost, finding my own clarity on my priorities when it comes to budget, style, color, etc...trusting my instincts, doing more of my own research, and advocating for my non-negotiables.

If…read morethey begin construction near your home, be sure to take it upon yourself to contact the City and obtain copies of their plans, because they will simply NOT TELL YOU if their plans adversely impact your property. I own a house adjacent to one of their current projects, and they did not hesitate to place a SEWER MANHOLE in my back yard. When I saw the sewer manhole being constructed, I immediately tried calling and emailing. I had reached out in the past to address other concerns, including careless damage to our property, but they never returned my calls. This time, they similarly ignored my calls and the first SEVERAL emails. It took multiple calls and emails just to get an acknowledgment of my communications. My neighbor reported similar experiences regarding their non-responsiveness, so this appears to be characteristic of their "neighborly" conduct. Had Blue Sky notified me of their intent to place a SEWER MANHOLE in my back yard based on an easement, I certainly would have objected and identified suitable alternatives before any work was done, but I did not have that opportunity. Now they're refusing to apply for a change through the City. I have a young child but they don't care about the safety concerns implicated by their decision to place a sewer manhole on my property. If it backs up, there will be RAW SEWAGE in my back yard. They have not cooperated to reach a reasonable solution. If you own a home by their project, please be extremely proactive and vigilant to counteract their unprofessional conduct and lack of transparency.

This is a hard review to write because I can't quite word how I feel about what Paul Rene did to my…read morehome. I also have a hard time taking the pictures that would best showcase the work they did. So I'm just going to do my best. 1- My library is absolutely and insanely beautiful. The lines, the wood, the feeling, the craftsmanship are all one of a kind and special to my wife and I. 2- The sturdiness of the install is exceptional. There is a rolling ladder that actually rolls around a corner. That is not normal. It is beyond what you would expect, and just amazing to use. The track system that the ladder slides on is super unique and low profile. It is sturdy and functional. I love it. 3- The creativity Paul Rene employed to design and manufacture this library was beyond what I could have envisioned. He sat with my wife and I and listened to us. We are lifetime collectors of books and avid readers. Every book on our shelves have been read at least once. When we sat down together he asked about our personalities, what we loved about books, our personal taste. A few weeks later he came up with a draft design. We worked back and forth for a few more weeks adjusting lines and adding more curves until we have the library you see pictured in the review. 4- Paul Rene worked hard to install the library. The team they used to install everything were courteous, and incredibly professional. After a month, I asked them to come back to look at a part of the ladder slide system and they were here adjusting it in no time. I can say this honestly- Paul is an artist without peer. My photos barely capture what he designed., and what I have the joy of living with. His partner Rene is a technical master at construction. Bringing the vision to a function that is delicate and sturdy enough to hold thousands of well loved books. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions regarding Paul Rene.

All the materials are high quality and looks so good! Michael removed all the old carpet and the large, 16" square tiled kitchen flooring. The painting was done next, followed by the vinyl planking everywhere except the bedrooms/bathrooms, and the carpeting. For the carpeting, he installed Mohawk Desert Accent cut loop with 7/16" pad w/moisture barriers in the bedrooms and closets. This a plush/Berber type style and it is wonderful on the feet! Love it. On top of the beauty of the flooring/carpet, we added 4" baseboard molding. What a difference compared with the original 2". There was 16" square tiles in the kitchen and in front of the front door that had to be removed. That takes a couple of days of demolition work (one person) and produces a lot of dust. It's good to have that done before painting and then the painters need to make sure the walls are dusted/cleaned before painting. The dust is confined to a good degree to the room using plastic barriers. You will still find dust everywhere. The result is outstanding!! The cost to complete all this work was what I expected. I am absolutely thrilled with the result. Michael and his floor expert produced professional craftsman results. So, pleased!! Thank you, Michael.

We flew in, met Randy and Jerrod, got an estimate, picked our finishes and hired them for the job. We hired Lollis to tear out all the flooring and install new tile and carpet, cut down our kitchen island to 1 level and extend the size of the counter, paint all cabinets in the house (kitchen, bathrooms and laundry), install window trim and crown molding, install new 5+" molding in entire house, install new quartz counter tops, do 1 wall of shiplap in the livingroom, build and install barn doors in the livingroom, install all new lighting and ceiling fans throughout the house, install a water filtration system and paint the entire interior of the house (including ceilings). The entire time the remodel was happening we were still living in CO. Lollis is extremely trustworthy and we had no issue turning over the keys to our home to them. They kept in constant contact, sent pictures and updates regularly and checked in with us at each step of the remodel to ensure we were all in the loop on everything happening. We didn't see the remodeled home until the day we arrived with the moving truck to move in. I was almost in tears when I saw the home. The work they did was beyond astonishing. Everything was absolutely perfect. To say they are perfectionists is almost an understatement. Everything they did was above and beyond our expectations. There was not 1 item in the entire home that we had to have them come fix or redo. Not one. It was all done flawlessly. They made what could have been a nightmare and difficult remodel into a dream come true for us. They are a pleasure to work with and the most upstanding, skilled and trustworthy company.
