Make sure they spell out exactly what you will be charged as they certainly won't volunteer that information (they'll charge you $100 for showing you a few exercises to do for about 5 minutes and then leaving the room). 10 stars! Its simple: they mobilize and rehabilitate you so you are painless, functioning in life, and happy. They are not your typical pt office! They use their hands, tools, machines, balls, resistance bands, etc. and create a plan of action to get you better. The entire team is great, funny, sweet, and considerate. Dr. Bryn is so knowledgable! She is accurate and focuses in on the underlying issue. She is amazing. Fernando makes me realize I am stronger than I think. Manny is sweet and supportive. Terrance brings laughter to your tough day. I came here about 1 mo ago, because deconditioning my muscles from prolonged sitting for years, that resulted in getting muscle spams in my low back that locked me in one position and I would yell/scream from pain when getting up from a chair or laying down position; forget about trying to jump, or jog. I have been coming to my sessions routinely and saw results immediately, to my surprise. I rarely get muscle spams now. I can jump, jog, and have more flexibility. Love this place! read more

I have been to a few physical therapy practices over the years and I can honestly say that Bryn Pacheco's practice is the best hands down! Bryn and her staff pay attention to detail and custom tailor treatment plans for each individual patient. Initially I went in for lower back pain which is now completely gone! After observation and good listening she devised a treatment plan comprised of both stretching and strengthening exercises which I now incorporate into my workouts at the gym. I'm really happy with BSP. When I couldn't get an appointment with the Providence St. Joe's Occupational Therapy near my house, I checked out yelp and found BSP. They took me in right away. My PT's name was Jay and he is really knowledgeable and skilled. My injury is much better, even though I have to go for one more 4-week round. I'm actually looking forward to it! In addition to the excellent treatment with state-of-the-art equipment, the office is large and filled with natural light, music, TV and happy, friendly staff. If you are having any sort of issue with your hands and/or wrists (carpal tunnel, tendonitis, tennis elbow, etc.), I highly recommend Lisa Adams, Occupational Therapist at BSP. My doctor at SCOI said only injections or surgery would help. I did neither and simply scheduled an appointment with Lisa Adams. Lisa did all sorts of interesting treatments, gave me several different exercises to do, and even provided guidance on how to rearrange my computer workspace. Just started going to BSP Therapy and so far I luv it. Had foot surgery on both feet, so basically am learning to walk again. Dr. Bryn is so knowledgeable and informative, and yet so caring. You really feel the "one on one" attention in this place. Everyone is very friendly and calls you by name. You feel you get special attention really catered to your particular situation. BSP physical therapy is probably the best physical therapist I've ever gone to! Dr. Bryn did my first evaluation, one on one, and was great. Moving forward I was there twice a week for nearly 3 months and saw Dr. Michael Bender. He is personable, has a great bedside manner and truly talented. This is only an update to my original review and response to the owner Bryn P. Thank you for the response. I have already spoken to Jennifer and expressed my grievance. Unfortunately, you either did not read my review thoroughly or missed my explanation. As I stated, Patricia was clear that I couldn't be seen because I was late. Patricia only offered to go and check after I was visibly upset and was attempting to get up and told her I was post-op. Patricia only then asked what type of surgery I had. If you have all the video it should be clear when she offered to help me. Again, she walked to the elevator and asked one question where I lived. Again, check sound and video. I was very excited to begin my therapy, it is very unfortunate that Patricia made a decision without first saying " hold on let me see what we can do since you are scheduled for a 45- 1 hour visit. Patricia first turned me away and reconsidered after she asked my type of surgery. Please review the sound of your video. I understand wanting to be on the side of your staff, however Patricia made a decision that was not hers to make. Maybe its a learning opportunity. read more

I have started regular appointments here due to some problems with my knee. The doctors and staff are very helpful and understanding. They have me do exercises and show me how to do them at home. I get a massage, electrode and ultrasound treatments too. After just a few weeks I am notifying an improvement in my knees. I highly recommend them. read more

Bryan is the best Physical Therapist I have ever been to!!! I have unfortunately been to toomany PT locations due to surgeries. She really knows her stuff and I would recommend her to anyone needing PT. She is knowledgable and really spends quality time with you. I would not go any where else but here. The rest of the staff is also fabulous!!! They are all polite and very knowledgable to and you can see results. Once my workers compensation denied additional therapy - I found out BSP has a program there called General fitness and I work with VUE there - she continues to help me rehab my broken shoulder for strength as well as get the rest of me back in shape. I have had trainers before and I can genuinly say she is one of the best. She knows when to ease up due to pain in my shoulder and she knows when to push me. I have seen great results in my strength and building back my muscles after my accident. Can't say enough about the staff, the professionalism of this center. Everyone is friendly and explains all the exercises/treatments. Fernando is amazing at setting up a course of action for your treatment. Each visit is roughly 90 min. You have exercise, massage/alignment, then stimulant/ice pack treatment. I went to another PT clinic and it was horrible. This place is clean, professional but its the staff that really makes this the best place ever. They really know what they are doing, really care that you understand your treatment and help you be an active participant in your treatment/recovery. Richard was able to help me alleviate the swelling in my foot (I'm healing from a hairline fracture). If you need physical therapy you will get the best treatment here. read more

I was referred to Dr. Lisa Adams because of tendonitis in my right (dominate) hand. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lisa and her staff. She worked to reduce the inflammation in my hand in just a few sessions, and I can already tell a huge difference. After ten+ years off and on with various forms pf PT, I have finally found a place that not only cares about the patients and their well being, but are also present for your exercises ensuring you don't injure yourselves further. Recovering from a double fusion in the neck area can bring good days and bad days, however they always tailor my treatments to ensure that when I leave their office, I do so feeling 10 times better than I did when I walked in. This review is long overdue. I wish I could rate Dr. Bryn and her staff infinity stars. She is a brilliant doctor of physical therapy AS WELL AS personable, funny, kind, and a great communicator. (Which makes a huge difference in terms of peace of mind when you want to understand what is going on inside your body and why it's happening). Started PT at BSP after a craniotomy and severe neck trauma. From the very first day I knew I had come to the right place. Everyone was very attentive to my needs for recovery and got on it right away. Dr. Mike Bender explained every step along the way and Lorenzo and Emily were very attentive to my exercises. They made sure I was doing everything in the right way and carefully watched as I worked. After 12 sessions, including the initial evaluation, I feel I'm even better than I have been in several years. Let me just say that this place means business, in the best way. I am new to Physical Therapy and had had a horrible recent first-time experience with a UCLA-affiliated center in Santa Monica (which, btw, was not cheap). Having just moved to Pasadena I thought I might try at physical therapy one more time, this time relying on Yelp rather than a physician referral. On this second try I hit the jackpot. The entire staff at BSP is top notch and I am so grateful for them. I'll begin with with the office manager, Alma, who really went out of her way to confirm that my insurance was compatible with this practice. Next, the upbeat team of therapist assistants who keep your workout on point and make the experience, as much as it can be, fun and positive. Culminating with Dr. Bryn Pacheco, a PT miracle worker who actually cares about her patients and works the heck out them with great good humor. My medical condition was a tough one but with his expertise and knowledge of his craft he has helped me regain my mobility almost back to 100% and with the next two months I have left I know it will be perfect! I have had 10 sessions with Dr. Bryn and her staff who have helped me treat my left knee, post surgery. My pain level has gone down from a 6 to a 2. I am no longer getting shooting pains when i walk up the stairs and can hike in the local mountains without fearing that my knee will give out. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to work with. A typical one hour session for me consisted of strengthening and stretching for about 30 mins, followed by a deep tissue massage, icing and electrodes. It has been great and now that my treatment is over, I am equipped with the knowledge and technique to continue my therapy at home. Thank you all! read more

I had a great experience at BSP under the care of Dr. Fernando, Manny and Terrance. I had injured my knee at the gym and put off treatment so it got worse. I finally went into PT and was with BSP for about 6 months of treatment and now my knee is perfect again - no pain at all! Dr. Fernando is really strong and will push you to work hard, but he also has a very gentle and sweet manner. I always had a great time on my visits. BSP Therapy is the only place to go if you need physical therapy. I never thought I would need it but after carrying my big five year old boy around since he was a baby, my shoulder locked up. Luckily, BSP had the key and I'm feeling so much better. From Alma's sweet and patient demeanor at the front desk to Jennifer's kind and friendly conversations in her office in the back. Both of these ladies were so wonderful and I looked forward to seeing them. Manny and Terrence know their stuff and really helped with all of the exercises I had to do. I've never laughed so hard in a medical setting. Terrence especially, kept my spirits high and encouraged my progress. They are both such hard workers and so much fun to be around. Both Fernando and Bryn took their time with me and I trusted them completely. There were moments, however, that I saw stars. The song "Hurts so Good" comes to mind. But, whatever they were doing, worked! I saw Fernando, mostly and he worked me until he saw progress. My range of motion changed completely and my pain went away.
