I've only had to do physical therapy a couple of times in my life. It's kind of like the dentist in that nobody wants to go but we have to and the longer you wait the worse it gets. They are so very nice here. I actually enjoy going into my appointments. After my surgery I dreaded starting physical therapy but I was worried over nothing. The PT I am currently receiving from BSP and directly from the director Doctor Brinyla Pachecco PT, DPT, MCMT has been excellent. Dr. Pacheco and her entire team are knowledgeable, professional, and caring. During my lifetime I have been challenged by some major accidents and surgeries that left some parts of my body that need PT or ongoing or rather on and off as maintenance or immediate intervention when I have relapses. I have been going to different PT places at various times and some have been better than others but, in my opinion, this is one of the best. Doctor Pacheco has gone out of her way many times to help me with questions directly related to my condition and indirectly related i.e., teaching me how to use some items I buy to help me at home with the exercises that I do, or they recommend. In general, in the field of medicine or body-related the approach is to address each area independently, which isn't beneficial since we are made up of different areas- the body is also part of a whole overlapping in different instances. When I received my prescription order from my doctor for physical therapy, I had offered some resistance because of prior experiences in other PT places near me. However I tried it, and, I was relieved to find this great place with a friendly and pleasant staff that respects your time and connects with you in spite of all the day-long uncomfortable masks wearing and difficulties of this time. There's a reason why there are nothing but great reviews for BSP! I needed to go to physical therapy for excruciating lower back and sciatic pain. After an X-Ray and an MRI, I found out I had slipped disc with a pretty bad protrusion and may need surgery. I actually had the MRI done half way into my PT which had been a month of seeing Dr. Bryn and doing the exercises. After a little over two months of therapy, I still cannot believe I am 100% pain free....and I don't need surgery!! The staff is super awesome. I looked forward to going to therapy...which is a funny thing to say, but everyone from Dr. Bryn, Terrence, Manny, and Alma were chill, funny, easy going, and professional. BSP has been so good for me! I was diagnosed with tendonitis in my right shoulder a few months ago. Dr. Bryn Pacheco, Manny, Terrence and Alma all made me feel very welcome during my treatment and rehab period. I never new about trigger point therapy, and though it sometimes felt like torture, I could feel myself healing rapidly after each session. I also have gym phobia, but Manny and Terrence made me feel very comfortable on the machines and with the free weights. An added bonus was always being able to find free street parking! These guys know what they are doing, and their personal interaction with the patients was so appreciated. You can really tell that they care about the people entrusted to their care. I am a 300lb, 45 year old man and after a crash on my motorcycle, and a grade 2 Quad strain, physical therapy was the last thing I wanted to do. I went anyway and boy am I glad I did. Just a few simple stretches, and some slightly painful therapeutic muscle work from Bryn, the PT specialist, I was already feeling better. Her and her staff were friendly, helpful and non judgmental which made me trust them quickly. By following their stretching and exercise plan they made for me, I was able to recover from the injury ahead of schedule. If you are looking for help, I highly recommend BSP. Overall I must say that I was very satisfied with the experience at BSP Physical therapy. I went for six weeks due to tendinitis in my Achilles tendon. What I liked about the experience is that they didn't just focus on the Achilles tendon like I thought they would, but rather Dr. Bryn diagnosed that the pain really was due to a weak leg and that I had been compensating for it. The stretches and exercises over the course of six weeks really helped (get ready for some soreness the first couple of days if you don't work out usually), I was able to notice the difference after the first week. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I know that if I ever need physical therapy again I will feel confident to go back to this location. There is only one downside, parking in the facility is three dollars, but you can always find parking nearby on the street. read more

I had a wonderful experience at BSP receiving physical therapy for an injured foot. From the friendliness of the front desk staff, focused exercises and modalities by therapists Manny and Pat, and in particular the deep tissue muscle and tendon manipulations by Dr. J. I started 2020 with a severe pinched nerve in my shoulder. I was prescribed PT (3) times a week for (6) weeks. Started at BSP PT and within (3) visits started to see improvement. My therapist Jay was very specific about what exercises to do and more importantly what not to do while I was receiving treatment and recovering range of mobility. The experience was very professional as the offices were never overcrowded... scheduling was very precise amid the nervousness of the growing pandemic. I have to recommend with the full 5 stars because of the care/help I got there... the mindfulness of the staff as well as the suggestions I received on how to continue getting better after treatment resulted in no flare ups at all. During my time receiving PT at BSP myself, I learned that Lindsay Tanner, DPT had a treatment regimen for headache sufferers. The administration team efficiently confirmed our insurance, and scheduled all appointments with ease. Lindsay Tanner performed a thorough evaluation and developed an evolving treatment plan for my daughter.. Lindsay saw my daughter during every treatment session. Physical Therapy Aides, Pat O'Donnell and Robbie Seyfried capably guided patients through their exercises, while keeping the treatment area running smoothly. My daughter completed her course of treatments at BSP and did her home exercise program prescribed by Lindsay. She is doing so much better now, and for that I am grateful. She still does Lindsay's exercise program. Lindsay Tanner, DPT practices Physical Therapy with skill, compassion, professionalism, and joy. She is a gift to her profession. BSP rocks! I'd never had PT before, but since having a hip replacement in April, it was pretty much mandatory. I was supposed to go to another place, but they were all booked up, so I called the first place listed on my insurance website. Lucky!! I was so nervous, but everyone there put me at ease immediately. Dr Michael Bender, my therapist, is great at what he does...he's easygoing, funny and REALLY knowledgeable. He's helped me understand what's going on, and how to learn to walk without assists, which i was having trouble with. And the personal trainers/aides (Vue, Lorenzo, Emily) are really good too. They work you out but they make it pretty fun. I've made so much progress! It's a well-run, casual office, and the receptionist, Jennifer, is helpful and friendly too. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for PT in an excellent setting. read more

I promised I would review about a year ago and I haven't sorry guys! What can I say about this place. The Doctor Man, Dr. Michael Bender seriously just one of the best physical therapist I've been to. He's not afraid to joke around, make you feel comfortable and make sure you that move at the appropriate pace for your therapy. And that fact that he's a super freak for Tim Burton like me was plus! I remember coming in crying hysterically, feeling like hot mess just finding out I had torn my right ATL thinking it was over for me since I'm a dancer but he was able to calm me down and promised he was going to help with pain, make me stronger and get back on the floor without having to receive surgery even though I didn't fully trust his word. I went in the end of August and finished early December and just like he promised, he helped to get me stronger and help alleviate the pain and now I'm dancing better than ever and if I do I feel any pain I just perform exercises I learned and it helps immediately. Everyone was super dope and amazing Lorenzo, Vu, Fernando. I cannot thank these guys enough for being patient and making me do the exercises during the days I just wasn't feeling it or nervous to try new exercises or have Bender dig his elbow into my calf. I was so sad to finish therapy and was bummed to leave but I knew I was ready to get back out and dance even though I was terrified and it all thanks to them. I highly recommend Bender and his crew and they will fix you and make you feel better than before you were injured. read more

Ive been having ankle pain for 4 years and getting surgery I needed physical therapy.Dr Kim goes above and beyond to make sure I leave with the right treatment and with the right amount of treatment. I only consider this place because they have a satellite location near me me. I began scheduling my physical therapy with one of their therapists is professed by the name of Scott Lee. During my very 2nd session I found out that he has been offered a position at a different company for a is for a better pay and benefit.. While it is inconvenient, I understand that people need to grow.. What I cannot appreciate or understand is how Is a company losing one therapist is closing the satellite location, leaving all the patients hanging and having to try to find other providers, which is not easy these days. Not bad, not stellar. I went for a few months for back, neck, and jaw pain. I found the exercise portion of my appointments unhelpful as the exercises were too easy to build strength. I think it would be better for someone who is more incapacitated than I am, or who has never done PT before (I've already done it for years). I will say that Dr. Bryn is awesome. She's extremely nice, knowledgeable, and will actually do massage in your mouth for jaw pain/TMJ if you request it. Haven't found anyone else who knows much about the jaw. I have stopped treatment here but would consider going back. read more

Overpriced and not that helpful. Make sure they spell out exactly what you will be charged as they certainly won't volunteer that information (they'll charge you $100 for showing you a few exercises to do for about 5 minutes and then leaving the room). I have been to a few physical therapy practices over the years and I can honestly say that Bryn Pacheco's practice is the best hands down! Bryn and her staff pay attention to detail and custom tailor treatment plans for each individual patient. Initially I went in for lower back pain which is now completely gone! After observation and good listening she devised a treatment plan comprised of both stretching and strengthening exercises which I now incorporate into my workouts at the gym.
