Not only did they give us a fair price on a Vita Spas Envie but they also financed it for us at 0% interest. Highly recommend Custom Spas Direct in Upland! Check them out!

During my research process, I read numerous online postings advising that a nearby, trustworthy…read moredealer is the most important aspect when buying a hot tub. Although I was about to purchase a hot tub from a large, well known dealer in Corona, I decided to look at Custom Spas Direct, which has good online reviews and happens to be very close to our house. I'm glad I did. I was not familiar with the Vita spa brand that Custom Spas Direct sells. There's very little information available online. After doing some digging, I determined that Vita is a decent, mid-range spa with competitive pricing. Nothing fancy, but it's built with good components from companies like Balboa Water Group. Dealing with Custom Spas Direct has been fantastic. It's a small company and we interacted directly with Jim Galpin, the owner. Jim is a straightforward guy and he was very helpful in choosing a spa. Since I was unfamiliar with Vita, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He quickly responded whenever I sent him a text with a question or request. After the purchase, he was super flexible with regard to delivery, setup timing, coordinating with the electrician's schedule, etc. The delivery and setup was quick and well done. The installer did a good job answering all of my questions. We've had the spa six months and have had a couple of minor issues. One was probably due to user error on my part and the other was not. In both cases, Jim responded to my texts immediately and quickly resolved my issue, even during a holiday week. I'm so glad I purchased from a local dealer that provides such fantastic service after the sale. I'm sure a larger dealer would not have given us the same treatment. Thanks Jim! Five stars!

I had a balance due which I was going to pay once he resolved an issue with the pool and spa light which he provided an update and agreed to his response. I then had issues with my jacuzzi the water level kept emptying. He said it's a simple fix I'll take care of it he changed out a $30 part he did not charge me for. He said let me know if it works to see what can be done. I told him the following day it didn't he then started to say not sure what to say it was low before we stated. He then sent me pictures to show it was already existing. None of this was said before he agreed to the job and which I assume he would let me know and put in writing if it was existing. I was surprised to his response and said ok, I then told him the water level was low however not empty. His response was to continue to send pictures to try to prove he has nothing to do with it. I told him not blaming you just need it fixed and a solution. I even sent him an easy fixes on YouTube to hope he would offer to check it to stand behind his work. His response was another picture of my jacuzzi saying you have cracks in the plaster you should fix that try to call someone that does plaster repair. I explained never had that issue before and just want it resolved. I thanked him hoping again he would stand behind his self states customer satisfaction that he says. I asked for my final receipt showing paid in full he then sent me a text with receipt and I asked him for an email of it and have not heard from him since. Again started off good the pool equipment itself looks fine just hard to understand how someone will not come and check work related to what they were working on. Again this was not a cheap investment. Not satisfied would not recommend. Hope He sees this and rethinks and at least offers to properly check the system.

Having never owned a spa, our concern was the delivery, set up, how to care for it... and they were able to answer all those questions. Although I had to continue reaching out to him and pushing to have him address the issues, he has finally remedied a portion of the concrete problem. In an attempt to remedy the problem himself, he sprayed a sealant onto the raised bond beam portion of the back yard; unfortunately, it made the issue worse. After attempts to remove the sealant, it was determined that it could not be removed. Fernando finally hired an external company to grind down the concrete and apply a new concrete layer to a knock-down finish (See photos). Unfortunately, he will not refinish the rest of the concrete that his company poured throughout my backyard, but at least he addressed the portion that he attempted to fix. That said, I commend Fernando for attempting to remedy the problem, and I do not harbor any ill will towards him or his company. That said, moving forward, I will make sure to get a signed contract with a manufacturer's defect clause for any future construction jobs I plan in the future.
