I went to checkout, placed all of my belongings on the register, and had friendly conversation with the cashier. Everything seemed to be going well, and the interaction had good energy. Unfortunately, the experience changed at the end of the transaction when there was an issue regarding plastic bags. I had purchased several heavy drinks and other belongings, and throughout the transaction I was never asked how many bags I would need. After the cashier had already completed and charged me for my entire order, I realized I needed additional bags to safely carry everything. When I asked for the extra bags, the cashier became upset and told me I would need to pay an additional $0.50 on my card. My concern was that the transaction had already been completed, and the cashier had not asked about bags before finalizing the payment. Since she was aware of the number of items I had purchased, I felt it would have been reasonable to address the bags before completing the transaction. When I expressed my concern about the situation, her response was extremely rude and inappropriate. I did not want to cause a scene or make anyone uncomfortable, so I simply told her to have a great day and left. I am not someone who wants to create conflict, and I understand that employees can have difficult days. However, the way this situation was handled was unnecessary and left a very negative impression after what had otherwise been a pleasant shopping experience. I hope management will address this situation, as the owners clearly put a lot of effort into advertising the store and creating a positive customer experience. It is unfortunate when an interaction with an employee undermines that effort.

Then the guy wanted Mac and cheese from the store. Like the made stuff in the heated display case. And just my luck there were 2 people in front of me there was a small family, and an older woman. The small family got their food and then the clerk. Who was an older gentleman- was helping the lady before me. And again they both see me standing next to this homeless guy that is orbiting around me. I look so uncomfortable. I am clutching my purse and the older woman keeps staring at us and glancing at us and I'm giving her a look I was staring at her like please help. But she proceeded to take her time to take her order and even the clerk too he was taking his sweet time. He was on auto pilot. He was not working with any kind of urgency or anything like that. But anyways, he goes to the back and takes five minutes to check on something for her and then that small family from earlier had dropped some of their food so this older woman told the clerk hey they just dropped their food. Can you get them some more food and I'm like dude really. I hope this old woman is reading this. You are a failure to society and to womanhood. As for the clerk, I'm also disappointed in you too when I talk to you, my voice was shaky, and I was scared. And my face was red because I was scared. And then we took the rest of the mac & cheese that was in the pot, and the homeless guy asked me if we could add more, and I told him that that was everything in the pan and then he proceeded to ask the clerk if there was more in the back and the clerk said oh it's gonna be like 30 minutes and then the guy was like OK and I thought that was that but the clerk proceeded to tell him that we have microwavable mac & cheese sitting in this aisle over here, and he kept talking to him, trying to upsell the guy.
