The day I went, everything that was on sale was gone. Nothing but empty bins. Maybe 2:00 is too late in the day? Their prices on brand-name products were *much* lower than Safeway's!, but inventory is hit-and-miss because, as someone else pointed out, the store doesn't operate the same way as a typical grocery store. Huge selection of chardonnays under $7 and the one I bought was surprisingly decent. Not a bad place to shop when you're on a tight budget. read more

The woman in my original review no longer works there. I haven't had any similar experiences since she left. I love finding random things. They had cartons of passion fruit puree that were delicious. I wish there was a way to get those back, but that isn't the nature of the store. My caution is that they sometimes will not honor their posted prices and you have to check your receipt diligently to make sure you aren't charged incorrectly. For example I purchased cauliflower tots that were labeled as 0.99. They rang up at 1.99. I pointed out the discrepancy. They checked the shelf and confirmed the shelf said .99 but because the inventory said it was supposed to by 1.99 they wouldn't honor the posted price. This wasn't the first time. Overall I like the staff much better now and they have some deals but I don't appreciate the pricing issues. read more

Definitely the best place to shop for grocery and wines, low prices on everything, great selections of products that you won't find in any other stores, all the staff is so friendly and makes you feel welcomed, great selection on wines and again their prices are amazing, for under $10 you can score some amazing wines from Napa Valley, Sonoma , Lodi and Washington.. Always someone there to help you out pick the right bottle.. sometimes they will offer to help you out loading your car with heavy items too, great customer service. read more

By far the best grocery outlet I've been to between Mount Vernon & Stanwood. I typically do all my grocery shopping here unless I need a specific ingredient they don't have. I plan my meals for the family around what I find at the GO. The staff are super nice and friendly and I often see the owner working and he's always nice and says hi to people. Despite inflation, I still find great deals here consistently. Seriously my favorite store!! read more

Love this place! Super helpful the have good this here. I like to do shopping here too. The price for grocery here are super good. Specially living in whidbey prices are crazy on food. I've shopped here three times since the opening. The store has a great variety of items, no doubt about it. The store is brand new and so it's very clean and shiny! I am impressed by some of the products I've seen. From coconut oil, to Kashi products to veggie burgers and noodle bowls. I will caution shoppers to be aware that the big bags of organic vegetables, the green beans and cauliflower and broccoli mix sold under the name Integrity Farms are from China. I did not realize this until I went to use the green beans and read the back of the package. I'm not into eating vegetables from China. Very polluted. My other Miss was on one of the bottles of wine I purchased. It was a Chardonnay, Owl Block Reserve. The bottle was clearly past it's delicious date! I will continue to shop around at this store as I do think they have some good bargains. All the employees have been incredibly friendly. That's a huge plus! Overall I'm disappointed I'm out about $12 to $15 worth of products I won't or can't use. The wine is maybe refundable as it's really bad. I gave them one star. Because there is no area for 0 stars. As soon as I entered the bleach. Blonde cashier lady told me to put my backpack over there by the wall. My backpack has my Passport. Another papers as I travel back-and-forth from Hawaii and help my sick brother with cancer. In Oak Harbor Washington? The fact that the lady just assumed that I might be a shoplifter. Although I have new shoes and I'm well-dressed really struck me strange. Especially since at the next cashier. I saw several ladies with very purses about the same size. Of not bigger than my backpack when I ask the lady. What about the women with large purses? And she said, sir, your backpack goes over there. Also, there was another time, but they seemed racially profile and hire people from within their own family. Just my experience there but I'll never go back and I left right away.
