This place is delightful! After a few days on the road we were hungry for some healthy tasty food and Bryan's gave us just that. We got a couple burritos and were very pleased. They were full of fresh ingredients and very flavorful. We ordered a taco burrito, veggie burrito and chicken taco. Then we went across the street to the park to eat them and loved them so much we can back for more. So burritos are not large, but they are delicious - order a few!

Bryan's Poco Taco was a cool, narrow drive-through for simple tacos during our road trip through TX. We were in the small town of Ozona on our way from El Paso to Austin, and yelp took us to this tiny spot. There is practically zero parking right by this actual shop, but the good thing is it's across the street from a huge shaded park/strip of green with lots of street parking there, so you could park and walk in if you wanted to dine in. We chose to go through the drive-through canal and ate our tacos in the car. When we pulled up we were surprised to see a super ancient looking menu that was handwritten with items like tacos, burritos, etc. but other unexpected items like hot dogs and chili pies! That was hilarious. We both decided to go with several tacos. I had two veggie versions, which were breakfast tacos. Not bad and VERY cheap (which I think is why many people come here), but the entire drive through experience was kind of slow. I personally do drive through if I have somewhere I need to be, but the poor gal seemed to be the only one working the entire line from cashier to chef. She was very friendly and sweet, but the time it took us was a bit on the long side. However, tacos are warm and so filling once you get them. They're not anything creative or special, but they get the job done. The awesome thing is they take credit card whoot!

    Delicious tacos and more!

Delicious and authentic!! Grab your order and enjoy your food at the park across the street. Friendly and fast service, too! Great find off I-10 while trekking to Big Bend!

This is the quirky kind of unique restaurant you can only find small towns off the highway. Everything was made fresh and tasted great. The lady at the counter even happily obliged when I couldn't decide between a vegetarian or a barbecoa burrito so she combined the two into a delicious Frankenstein burrito for me. Now that's service. I highly recommend travelers stop here.

What a great authentic spot. Not the overly massive burritos like you get at commercial places but exactly the right size and great taste.

We ordered a quesadilla and it wasn't good. We were also charged $4 for a small scoop of sour cream. I would go somewhere else next time.

Our waitress was friendly, took our order and brought our orange juices quickly. I ordered the Western omelette w/hash browns (potato chunks) & toast and my husband opted for the breakfast burrito and coconut cream pie for desert. My husband seemed to have enjoyed his breakfast more than I mine although he didn't like the pie. My toast was buttery and there was no jelly in sight or our waitress to ask. Also, no salt & pepper or condiments on any of the tables like other restaurants. Perhaps because it's a senior citizen complex they aren't allowed to spice things up. Guessing here, perhaps government subsidized (501C3) so they are able to offer price reduced meals. The place was clean, quiet, ample seating and a nice menu selection. However, it's just not my thing to dine in at a "nursing home environment". I'm happy to see Main Street Cafe is available for those who are wanting cheap meals.

The parking spaces in front are limited, but there is street parking. I was by myself and took a seat over to the side. There is one big dining room with tables along the walls and in the center. The kitchen and restrooms are in the back. This is a family style restaurant, with just a few decorations like a mural of a Mexican scene on one wall. Everything appeared clean as far as I could see. My server was pleasant and brought me some chips and salsa. Chips are the typical thin American style. The salsa is medium spicy, tomatoey and zipped in a blender. I ordered the "guiso plate" and was told I could choose between hand made flour or store-bought corn tortillas. I prefer corn, so I was promptly served the carne guisada along with corn tortillas (which were quite good). The carne guisada had more of an American gravy texture and taste than most carne guisada I have had in Mexico. But I slathered the salsa over it and that pepped it up. This is not a trendy place nor super fancy, but you can find good food and pleasant service. As I left I requested some iced tea to go, and they were happy to oblige, and that was nice as I had a long drive ahead of me. I would go back when I have occasion to go through Ballinger.

Though small and quiet, this little grill puts out really good food. My daughter kept it simple with a dry cheeseburger. It comes with a side of fries that are cooked fresh, but maybe needed some time to breathe or dash a little bit of salt. The burger was cooked really well though. Noah enjoyed his carne asada tacos. Liz ordered the Potosino nachos, which were like a loaded nachos. Loaded means it came with beans, grill d tomato and jalapeno, thin slices of skirt steak, and cheese. It looked good, and I grabbed a few at the begining. I really enjoyed my Potosino plate. It was the same thing slices of skirt steak, grilled onion, jalapeno, and tomato that was on the nachos, but my plate came with Spanish and refried beans. (Same as Noah's kid taco plate). So, why the 3? It's a small place, and the dining area can be overwhelmed by a rush. Though the folks that knew were just getting food to go. There's about 7 tables/booths for 4 each, and it got crowded right after we sat down and ordered. Hey, if I can't get my coffee refilled without asking, well... Overall, I did enjoy the food. The place was clean and comfortable. It was the lack of speedy service was on no way a deal killer, but when you're on the EP to SA road trip time management can matter. Check it out if you're stopping in Ozona.
