After reading some pretty scary reviews of feasible food options in Fort Stockton and in Ozona we…read morehesitantly stopped here just because 1 reviewer said this was the only clean n fresh place for 500 miles haha So glad we listened to that yelp reviewer bc this Subway wasn't bad at all. No flies, clean restrooms, very friendly staff all worked on our 5 footlongs n even the water tasted fine, no funky after taste. All that matters if you are roadtripping and don't want food poison to ruin your vacation with little ones. Yes there's a drive thru here too. But staff was so courteous and prompt. There was a line but they made our sandwiches quickly albeit some lettuce and stuff wasn't the freshest but hey no flies and no stomach problems after. And they did cover their veggies which was a good sign :) Great option vs other fast food stops after this that reviewers have commented about flies, dirty poopy restrooms and incompetent workers. Will take this Subway any day.

I hope the owner of this restaurant sees this review and cares. But based on all the terrible…read morereviews, it seems pretty futile to complain. My family stopped at the restaurant while on a long road trip. My husband is a 100% disabled Army veteran. His service dog was with him. The two employees (one was a manager), proceeded to tell him he could not have the service dog without proof and wanted us to show them documentation. I explained to them that it is illegal to ask to see any documentation regarding his service dog. To appease them, my husband showed them his disabled veteran ID. They were rude and belligerent to us and told him that was not good enough. I again explained it is against both federal (American's with Disabilities Act), and state (Texas law) to ask to see documentation regarding his service dog. I encouraged them to look it up to confirm. They told us, "then you can leave." They continued telling us it was their store policy, and kicked us out of the establishment. We are shocked at the lack of respect and professionalism, not to mention a disregard of both federal and state law. It's almost impossible to contact Subway corporate or find this franchise owner. So, I figured I'd warn Yelpers to pack a lunch, keep driving or grab some Godfather's Pizza instead.
