This one is a solid 3.8, with potential for more. I let Liz pick lunch in Ozona, and on a Sunday afternoon, she picked a very unassuming Destiny's Grill. Though small and quiet, this little grill puts out really good food. My daughter kept it simple with a dry cheeseburger. It comes with a side of fries that are cooked fresh, but maybe needed some time to breathe or dash a little bit of salt. The burger was cooked really well though. Noah enjoyed his carne asada tacos. Liz ordered the Potosino nachos, which were like a loaded nachos. Loaded means it came with beans, grill d tomato and jalapeno, thin slices of skirt steak, and cheese. It looked good, and I grabbed a few at the begining. I really enjoyed my Potosino plate. It was the same thing slices of skirt steak, grilled onion, jalapeno, and tomato that was on the nachos, but my plate came with Spanish and refried beans. (Same as Noah's kid taco plate). So, why the 3? It's a small place, and the dining area can be overwhelmed by a rush. Though the folks that knew were just getting food to go. There's about 7 tables/booths for 4 each, and it got crowded right after we sat down and ordered. Hey, if I can't get my coffee refilled without asking, well... Overall, I did enjoy the food. The place was clean and comfortable. It was the lack of speedy service was on no way a deal killer, but when you're on the EP to SA road trip time management can matter. Passing thru from Arizona on our way to Austin this little Mom and Pop place was at the top of my Yelp list but don't be fooled by the very modest building, inside was very clean and neat gives you the I'm at my Nana's house for breakfast vibes, our waitress was amazing I wish I would have gotten her name very friendly, very helpful, made great conversation. The food was fresh and homemade, great salsa, the tortillas tasted freshly made had a nice toasty crisp from the comal texture amazing so if you haven't tried this place what are you waiting for I guarantee you won't be disappointed, oh and they make a fresh tres leches cake that was one of the best we've ever had so come give them a try or if your driving thru stop in and try them read more

Yes it's in a residential neighborhood, yes it's in someone's driveway, and yes you'll see a chicken cross the road to get to the other side. Destiny's Grill was one of the only places that was still open in this quiet town. It's unassuming and honestly looks kind of sketchy from the outside, but once you enter it's cute and spacious with enough table seating for about 40 people. They serve a variety of dishes: from breakfast items to burgers to Mexican dishes, to chicken nuggets for the kids. My family ordered: Flautas Chicken enchiladas Chicken torta Cheeseburger Club sandwich Everything was good but my husband said he's had better flautas elsewhere. Fries were good but come unsalted, but fine after dipping in some ketchup! Service was good and I loved the family vibe of the restaurant. We came because of the excellent reviews by other Yelpers and we were not dissapointed. It is kind of tucked away in a residential area but the food is terrific. We had the beef nachos and the chicken fajitas plate and both were delicious and a lot of food for the price. Their cheesecake was just amazing and alone worth the visit. I had seen good reviews but I was not prepared for just how delicious it was! I had the burrito with Potosino which is their specialty steak mix. I added avocado and white cheese and although it was smaller than the burritos I'm used to in SoCal, it was absolutely amazing! A diamond in the rough, but the locals definitely know this joint. The roosters across the street greeted us both times we visited this place! We called in and picked up breakfast, on the the beginning of our road trip. Bacon, egg & potato breakfast tacos were big and delicious. Then we had to go back, for lunch, on the way home. We tried chicken fajitas, potosino burrito and steak tacos; all deserved two thumbs up from the group. The guy who was there both times was very nice, and even the other customers were nice!
