Solid breakfast spot. Very reasonable prices, delicious food, pleasant service. The place is small and you may have to wait about 15 minutes, but it's worth it. I ordered biscuits and gravy which was very filling and tasty. My husband had the corn beef hash, white toast, eggs and home-fries; also very tasty. The total bill was only $15.25 for all that and coffee. This place is cash only and since it's so small and busy, they will put the check on the table 3 seconds after your food is placed in front of you... Don't be offended. read more

What a great place! Feels like home. Great owner, Shannon the waitress is great, super friendly and quick. I judge diners by the coffee and the home fries, and Bryans is a 10 on both counts. Great atmosphere, meet some of the locals, everyone is friendly. No complaints at all. A real community business, and landmark. They have helped donate food during the pandemic which is amazing since their business had to drop 70%. I hope they get flooded with new customers when they can open the doors, they deserve all they can get! read more

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast this morning, and what a great little find! This is just the kind of small town atmosphere that you hope to find, but rarely do in NJ. We sat at the counter and enjoyed a great breakfast at a very reasonable cost. I loved that the cooking was done right in front of you! Very friendly people working there too! All I can say is this place knocked my socks off. My daughter has a severe dairy allergy. Trish took such care to make sure there was no cross-contamination. Even more surprising was when it came time to check out, I only had a credit card. I did not realize this establishment is cash only. Instead of embarrassing me, she warmly sent me on my way with my egg sandwich and coffee. I will definitely be back to pay my check, but I must say the world needs more of this warmth and kindness........ and most importantly, the food was EXCELLENT! read more

It was a lazy Sunday morning and it was just my son and myself at home. I'm like: Hey, let's go to cracker barrel for some breakfast. He mentioned that he wanted to try this Bryan's luncheonette, since he had never been there. I'm like ok: "kinda pricey for what you get. But, OK." Here's the highlights: 1. 15 minute wait for a table. 2. the "cook" flipped bacon/sausage/taylor ham with his fingers, touching the meats and french toast, pancakes with his BARE fingers. 3. servers used a single cleaning cloth to clean all the tables and counters w/o using clean ones. I mean it was BROWN. 4. One of the servers (for some bizarre reason) ran her bare hand along the length of the counter and never washed it. 5. saw a young child lick the mirror in the corner. (apparently, he liked the way it tasted.) 6. the french toast (see picture) had fried egg attached to it. paid $6.95 for a few pieces, plus xtra for CHEWY bacon that tasted like shoprite brand (i know what it tastes like because it's my mother-in-law's go-to) 7. the servers sneezed and constantly wiped their faces. and, that's right, did not wash their hands. We stumbled upon this place and now it's our new favorite weekend breakfast spot! It has the cutest, most quaint vibe inside (and seating is limited so you have to arrive early on a weekend). So once again I've been missing out! I have drive past this place at least 400xs! I book marked it on yelp and finally I made the jump. As you walk in, you know you're in for a home cooked meal. Everyone knows each other and the wait staff is so friendly. I love when the call me honey! The environment is quiet, relaxing and cozy! As you sit and wait you can stare at the amazing looking homeade desserts.. see pic attached.. The specials are listed on huge butcher paper and adds a special touch to this adorable place ! Such a cute idea.. very reasonable prices for everything on the menu and you can see the chefs cooking your meal. They have table seating and counter seating. Food: I ordered the omelette special.. it was chili cheddar. It came with home fries and toast. It was something I would make at home. It was delicious. My mom order Mac and cheese and we liked it . There's good and then there's awesome: The good: The tight quarters here may make eating difficult, especially if you're tall and/or wide but trust me it's worth it. This place has a loyal fan base so be prepared to wait a little to be seated but again it's worth it! Now, the awesome: Prices: must be the best prices around, your wallet will thank you Food quality: yes, yes...so awesome. Bacon is crispy, home fries are flavorful, eggs benedict is swimming in perfect hollandaise sauce. The rice pudding is incredible, sprinkled with just a touch of cinnamon but what a difference it makes. This place blew my mind. Me and my friends were looking for a new spot to sit down and have breakfast and came across this gem. From the moment we walked in we felt at home and extremely welcomed. The waitresses were extremely nice and sweet giving us huge smiles and leaving us with gut clenching laughs. They never hesitated to conversation on other topics and engage in good conversation as well. The food here was Amazing, everything came out quick, fresh, and hot. The portions are perfect, I'd say enough to fill you up and maybe bring a little home for later. All in all I was blown away by my experience and went back the very next day with a couple more friends to share the experience. I love this place and recommend it to all that come across it. It's a small little white diner gotta look a little to find it. Easy to miss, hard to forget! After a very long day for me and my children we decided to eat lunch at Bryans. My 7 year old was exhausted and STARVING. I thought, instead of McDonalds and/or Taco Bell we'd go to Bryans. My kids love it there. The food is good, fast and appeases everyone. Well, yesterday was a different story. My daughter didn't like what was served and the owner didn't like her behavior so she threw us out. Gave us the bill, and told us to leave. Yes, she was being disruptive , yes she was HANGRY, she needed to eat. But instead of us being allowed to eat we were thrown out on the street. Bill was $40 for lunch !
