These guys are awesome! Tony and Ben are super chill and really take care of you. I've bought a lot…read moreof used vehicles over the years, and this has easily been the best experience I've had. Honest, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Highly recommend!

We purchased a truck from Patriot Auto Sales in January. At first, Ben was friendly and helpful,…read moreand we felt confident moving forward. That changed very quickly. At the time of sale, we were upfront about known issues with the vehicle, including the airbag suspension. Ben acknowledged this and put it in the contract that the suspension, heated seats, and the 4-wheel drive auto feature would be repaired. Despite that, those repairs were never properly completed. The heated seats and 4-wheel drive auto were never fixed. Within a couple of weeks, the truck continued having problems -- including ongoing suspension issues and no heat at all while my son was commuting 40 miles each way to Anchorage in 10-degree weather. That is not acceptable or safe. We brought the truck back multiple times to the shop they directed us to. Each time, we were told it was fixed, and each time the same problems continued. By the third visit, the person handling repairs was rude, dismissive, and still did not fix the vehicle, nor did he want to! Shortly after, the engine began failing. The truck became unreliable and unsafe to drive. We brought the vehicle back again as directed, and at some point it was moved without our knowledge. We later learned it had been dropped off at a Dodge dealership, who told us they had no clear reason why it was there. We received little to no communication during this time. After the Dodge dealership evaluated the vehicle, we were informed the engine needs to be replaced, with the total cost around $14,000. It is now mid-May, and my son has been making payments on a truck he has not had in his possession for MONTHS! He also paid an additional $3,000 for an extended warranty. The warranty is covering the majority of the engine replacement, but my son is still being required to pay approximately $2,000 out of pocket. During this time, he was given a loaner vehicle that had a check engine light on from the moment he received it. He was not provided any paperwork or agreement to sign at the time he received that vehicle. That same loaner vehicle later broke down on the highway, leaving my sons stranded. We have time-stamped photos from the day he received it showing a low oil pressure warning already on. Only after that breakdown, and after he had already been using the vehicle, was he then asked to come in and sign paperwork for the loaner immediately! Following this, Patriot Auto Sales began sending emails and letters demanding immediate payment of over $12,000 for the loaner vehicle, pressuring him to settle outside of court, and now stating they intend to pursue legal action. The communication throughout this process has been unprofessional, including rude and aggressive messages. There are also serious concerns about how vehicles are being represented and sold. This dealership is currently selling a truck with severe frame damage -- and I know this because it is my son's previously totaled vehicle. We have documentation of the damage, yet it is being resold for over $20,000 without proper disclosure. We made multiple attempts to resolve this directly before posting this review. This has been ongoing since January with no resolution, despite continued payments being made. We have documentation supporting everything stated here and are continuing to document all communication. Proceed with caution.
