He saved me a bunch of money by recommending fixing the lifters with sea foam and a few quick oil changes to make it smooth out the noises in the Hyundai engine. I have saved $15-$30k in cars buying older cars and fixing them and Matt at adm machine does all the big work for a great price no one else can or will do.

I can understand an increase in say $500. I never once received an update on any cost increase. It was a complete shock. The first call I received was that the work was completed and I could pick it up. I arrived, popped the hood and looked around. One spark plug wire was not plugged in. He said it was running great but there was a noise coming from the idler bearing and I should get that changed to remove the squeaking (surprise $2000 overcharge but not able to replace a $35 dollar part to send it outta the shop at least sounding new, pretty poor). After 75 miles of driving the squeak was getting bad. Looked harder to find the noise. A hose clamp from the water pump was chewing into the water pump pulley and the back side of the belt. Trip to NAPA and $175 later, that seems to be fixed, by ME. If I knew nothing about working on an engine, I could've been in the middle of nowhere broke down. Very poor work, and customer communication on ADM machines LLC part.
