Our 2022 F-250 Superduty was torn up by 117mph winds in Wasilla. The passenger door was flung open and folded all the way to the front fender. As if that weren't enough, the truck was rock sprayed everywhere, breaking light lenses and trim pieces. There's more: the Thurs before the storm, a driver of a Subaru driving way too fast on ice and snow slid into the back of our truck as my wife slowed to make a turn. Crystal, our Chaz appraiser, was amazing at gathering all the damage for the insurance company to review. USAA said that she is one the best that they work with. Our truck was reworked to showroom condition. New door installed + alot of sheet metal reworked and replaced. The truck was repainted on site in the middle of an Alaska winter. Don't waste your time or money with this place! Made appt to bring my vehicle in once they received the parts. It sat in their backyard for 2 weeks with nothing being done to it. Their status text messages said it was being disassembled, yet when I drove past still it sat there. After a month of waiting I had to keep calling and calling to get updates. Finally they gave me back my vehicle as it was "drivable", but had to return it a couple weeks later as they still had to fix a few surface spots. If you go here, inspect your vehicle with them before you leave. They will give you scratched and dented parts and then claim it happened when you drove home. Beware!!!! read more

If communication and getting the job done in a timely manner is important to you, don't use Chaz. I have used them in the past and had a good experience with them, that's why I came back for this repair. The problems began when they were supposed to contact my insurance company, but never did. Over the course of 12 days and numerous phone calls I was placed on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes and up to 30+ min at a time. One phone call I was on hold for 15 minutes, transfered to the 5th Avenue shop, they transferred me back to Chaz in Wasilla. The lady who works the front desk is very nice, but very disorganized. During one phone she had to place me on hold several times because she couldn't find my file. She promised me she would contact my insurance company after her lunch break and call me to keep me posted. USAA never heard from her, and neither did I. On a good note, I took a mirror into them to be painted (I bought on my own, this was part of my claim...moose hit) and I was not charged. I pulled my job with them and went to another body shop in the valley. My new body shop accomplished in under 4 hrs what Chaz couldn't do in 12 days. Everyone was very nice, but nice wasn't getting my car fixed. read more

I got my Subaru back yesterday, had minimal damaged front bumper cover, but since I just got the car I wanted it fixed right. I am so happy with everything they did, the paint job is flawless. I had my Subaru guy look at it and he was impressed with Chaz's work. VERY HAPPY!! Hopefully I will never need them again, but if I do............. Chaz will be my 1st choice! read more

Well, you should've expected this to be posted. Chaz is the most unprofessional body shop or maintenance shop I've ever dealt with. Not only were they late getting our car to us, but they did not communicate with us at all for two weeks. They did not help us get a loaner car, they did not let us know that our car was going to take another week longer, nor did they call us when the car was done. I will never take my vehicle back to Chaz in Wasilla ever. But the most disturbing thing was the lack of concern when I talked to the manager. Their only excuse was, "well, we've been really busy." After hitting a moose with my truck I took it to chaz , big mistake on my part! The parts used were not only the wrong parts i.e. the grill was off a cheaper model truck not even a king ranch grill, the after market parts on my truck were not put back in there place but wrapped around the hand grips , the finders were replaced crooked so the lines are now all off, did not fix or even adjust the bumper , my truck has come back with a exhaust leak it did not have and a miss in the engine it did not have . With the parts and paint chaz had a 5 year old with a plastic tool box could have done a better job . the only good thing I can say is the paint matched, When I asked to speak to the manager I was told he was on vacation , I would not recommend chaz to repair a little red wagon pulled by a bull dog. read more

It is a special anniversary for my husband and me next month and Amber and Christian helped me to turn an old red car into a brand-new red car! Got in a car wreck and my car got fixed a lot faster than they had estimated. It's as good as new and they detailed the inside.

Don't use them! We called to arrange to have our wrecked truck towed over there to be assessed for the insurance company. It was close to closing time and the woman told me that it was too late to put it into their locked yard by the time I called a wrecker and it got towed. But, she said, if I called this one company, Tows R Us, that our truck could be put into the yard that night because that driver had the code to the Chaz yard gate. She said he was the only one who could do that. I had never heard of this towing company before, but it did not make any difference to me so I called, and the driver answered immediately and came right over and got our truck. After about 2 weeks I went over to get my parking pass for work out of the truck since it had been totaled by the insurance company and we were waiting for papers to sign. As I drove up to Chaz, I could see their fence around the back lot, but to my surprise my truck was parked in the front parking lot, sitting all by itself in the open and looking very wrecked with one of the back windows down or broken so it was not secured in any way. I thought it strange, but I don't know what the procedures are. I went in and told the lady I was going to get my parking pass and she gave me a key to use, but I didn't need it. I also noticed my husband had left a winch on the floor in the back so I took it out. I told him later about the sitting in the front parking lot and he said he had had some other stuff in it. So he went on another day, but nothing else was in the truck. And when he went in to talk to the woman, he said she got mad when he wanted to know why the tow driver had not put the truck in the yard. She said no one but Chaz employees had the code, she didn't know anything about recommending Tow R Us, and she told him I was a liar, and anything missing must have been taken by the tow truck driver. She had no explanation about why the truck was never moved into their yard. I don't know what's up with this company, but something is very fishy. And I am not a liar. read more

I would give 10 stars if I could. About 4 yrs ago I had a bumper replaced on our family mini van by Chaz. Unfortunately, about 4 mo. later some of the paint was coming off. I stopped by Chaz and they told me their work was guaranteed for life. Because theres never a good time for a family of 5 to be with out a mini van, I never made it back for another 3 years and in the mean time we had acquired a few dents and dings in the bumper. The VP of Chaz (Wish i could remember her name) happened to be in the Wasilla store when I dropped by. She had my van pulled in right away, apologized for the paint problem and informed me they would replace the bumper and repaint it free of charge despite the damage caused by us since the job was completed years ago. They even washed and cleaned the inside of the van. I am beyond impressed with this companies customer service and professional attitude! Thank you Chaz! read more
