As mechanic and shop owner, he has done a spectacular job letting me know detailed explanations of how and why a job needed to be done and the cost. He has fixed timing chains in my Hyundai Santa Fe 2006 as well. Same deal, car was having problems and he fixed it and saved me a bunch of money by telling me how to drive it not like a granny and put sea foam into the oil to fix the lifters saving me a really expensive repair. In 2025, he fixed a bunch of noisy parts in my 1996 ford e350 making a car I used to transport a lot of people safe to drive and not sound so loud. Each repair he gave me more mechanical knowledge which helped me save money on the next repair. Overall, in 280k miles on four vehicles I have driven in the last 11 years I have saved $15-$25k on vehicles driving the old cars. If Matt's shop wasn't around there is no one else I could take my vehicle to to get the big jobs done in old cars. Some people say fixing a old car is like being married to your car but they don't realize that the new cars you are trading a much cheaper repair bill for a much high interest and loan and insurance rate. The difference is the bank manager at the credit union you never have to see while the used car repair person requires you to drop your car if and leave it. Many people tell me don't you worry about driving old cars and then braking done? I say that is what roadside is for and as long as you are proactive about maintenance if you are stranded it won't be for something dangerous. And even new vehicles brake down and at $330 an hour for shop rates at newer car foreign dealerships I will pay my sho rates of between $180-189 per hour. Matt's adm machine shop gets my big repairs. But the repairs Matt does on the old cars rmean I don't have to throw away a car after a transmission, engine or differential gets needed repairs. So go to Adm machine for your any repairs on big jobs like engines and such and they do everything else and in between too.

We thank God, because it was a miracle that it didn't blow out! They were Michelin brand, and the new ones are Michelin as well. That goes to show their quality, and I have always heard good things about them. The price was very reasonable, and the service was one of, if not the best I have ever experienced! I'm a little ignorant with tires, but they didn't take advantage of that by trying to screw me over. They were absolutely honest, professional, and friendly! They even brought me to the back to show me the old tires, and explained what driving flat means, how to tell how old a tire is, and how often you should change them. Wasilla's garages were overpriced with one garage billing $1,500 for a simple block heater install. Meanwhile Palmer's garages were similarly overpriced average $550 up to $750. It seemed to good to be true when we phoned Edmund's Import Auto. They quoted to us THREE TIMES $350 down to $338 over the phone. Finally my wife signed off with her e-signature at their front counter's computer for $338. He stated they would have it done next day at $338, so we committed to them. Bold faced liars! Next business day Edmund's Tracy said "Sorry, there was a mix-up, actually the cord doesn't fit the exhaust so we had to fast-lap another block heater!" "New price is now closer to $500!" My immediate thought to myself: "WTF!!" I told Tracy both she and her coworker stated $338. No if's, no and's, nor but's. Told Tracy my wife signed off for $338. Tracy denied this to me over the phone. Tracy literally LIED to us! Disgraceful. At that point it had deteriorated to a "He said! She said!" situation. If you value the integrity of your word, then do not go to Edmund's Import Auto because they don't value their word to you!
