Guess what, they don't offer a single or kids scoop, so you must get two scoops. That's just too much ice cream in my opinion. My husband ordered a blast and it typically is filled to the top. My husband asked where are you supposed to wash your hands to be told we can give you a wet wipe. Walking back to the car I peed my pants trying to get into the car to find a restroom. It was horribly embarrassing. My husband googled it and according to Florida state law if they serve any type of food they are required to provide a public restroom. We stopped by yesterday after our little beach day. We loved that it was a small standing store where you just walk up and grab ice cream. Reminds me of a place back at home! SERVICE - The girl that was helping us was sooooo friendly. She was probably the nicest person we had encountered in Destin so far. She let us sample flavors, answered all of our questions, and made us feel welcomed. ICE CREAM Peanut Butter Buckeye - I love peanut butter so this flavor was a win for me. It had a good mixture of chocolate and peanut butter. Chocolate Mudslide - I thoroughly enjoyed this as it had chunks of brownie throughout it. Salted Caramel - This was on its own level of salted caramel. The caramel ribbons throughout the ice cream was perfectly soft and gooey. New York Cheesecake - Wow, there was so much crust in each bite, we loved it. We always go to Brusters when visiting Destin. Its a favorite for our whole family and we enjoy it so much. Our last visit they mixed up sizing on mine and my husbands icecream, but it wasnt that big of an issue so we let it slide. All of our icecreams were good, and the cones were fresh. My son got a cookie and absolutely loved it. Im so glad they had it as an option, especially a trex dino cookie because its his favorite. We never eat onsite, so i cant really speak for the comfort of eating there. They do have picnic style tables to sit and enjoy your cones. Its usually always highschool or college aged kids running the store, but they seem to do a pretty good job and are quick. read more

My wife and I went today to Bruster's. I ordered a milkshake, and she ordered a Blast. As we were driving off, she took one sip of her blast and said, "This is not right it doesn't taste right, and it's soft like a milkshake". I took her back to the front so she could ask the person working the counter to fix the problem. She asked her to remake it, and the employee refused to remake it. She then asked for a refund since she did not consume the product and did not like it. Again, the employee refused her request. I went to the window and made the same request. The employee asked me if I owned a business would I refund someone if they are unhappy with the product. I promptly said absolutely that is what customer service is all about, and she laughed. Being that this business is right next to my work I have in the past recommended it to visitors as well as other friends and family. I can assure you that will no longer happen. And my recommendation will be to avoid this establishment. And direct them to other establishments that provide this similar product with better customer service. read more
