We ordered a few slices of square pizza for takeout from Bruno's last week. The food was ready within the quoted time. It was hot and fresh, the crust was crispy, but I think they were a little light with the cheese. We always order an extra bag of cheese on the side to top with and we were glad we did. The staff here were very friendly. The inside of the shop is really just a counter and a beverage cooler, but they do have lots of local photos that are fun to check out! I called to place a delivery order. A younger sounding woman answered (with zero greeting). After I said I wanted delivery the was a moment of silence and she then asked where it was going in a way that sounded like she was super annoyed. After getting my address she asked what I wanted, and I asked for 6 slices, to which she said "Oh" which leads me to believe ordering a smaller number is an unspoken problem. She then said okay and hung up without telling me a price or time for arrival. So I'm currently waiting to see if it even arrives. I'm writing this before the food arrives as I'm not expecting it to blow my socks off with the quality anyway, but the lack of basic phone etiquette would prevent a higher review regardless of how the pizza tastes. UPDATE: I waited an hour after ordering to call them back and ask what the problem was. They didn't answer the first time then hung up immediately when I called again. I give Brunos 2 stars because of the person answering the phone 6/21/25. I called to place an order and the she answered the phone saying YEA! What business answers allows employees to great their customers with YEA. She didn't state thr name of the business, I thought I had the wrong number and had to ask is this Brunos. The owners should really teach this employee how to respect customers. She was also not friendly taking my order. I like their food but continously being greeted and waited on by someone with a personality of a piss ant will change how often I frequent this business. read more

I think it's some of the best pizza around the sauce has a great taste always get extra cheese and you get your money worth when you do. Ive always gotten hot just out of the oven pizza every time I ve gone there can't wait to get back in the car to have piece it's that good. read more

04/07/2017 Visit: I ordered 6 with extra cheese. This is your typical Ohio Valley style pizza that is unique in this area. Square pizza and when you order with extra cheese the cheese isnt melted on. People coming in this area and not use to this think this is very weird and give a bad review. I love this pizza place and one of the best in this area for this style of pizza. BEST PIZZA EVER. No seriously. When we are in the area (my parents grew up here), this is the first and last place we go. First place because we like to indulge right away (why wait?) and last because we take an entire tray home and freeze it. Or 4 trays. My family and I were passing through town and read uniformly favorable reviews of Bruno's. We found a stark store front with rather disturbing TV shows playing in the waiting area. Menu offerings were not well explained by the cashier. The base pizza price is reasonable, but toppings are priced by the slice. By deleting pepperoni and adding cheese and veggies to a 16, the price exceeded $30. Cheese was not totally melted on top. Disappointing. read more

Horrible. Went there today 6/29/19 to pick up call in order at 3:30 scheduled time. At 3:45 I asked what time it would be ready. None of the three ladies answered me. So I said look I'm not mad just want to know if I have time to go run an errand. Still no answer, but they pulled a pizza out and threw it in the box. Got it home and the full tray had some diagonal cuts, some one inch strip cuts... it was a mess to try and eat. The half tray had three large chunks of unshredded cheese. Will not go back, nor will my three sisters, nieces, cousins and friends who were at the house waiting. For those of you not familiar DiCarlos or Rays would be a better option read more

Everyone who eat's Ohio Valley style pizza knows it's all about who's cooking and the current ownership. Bruno's is the best pizza in the area at this given moment. The sauce is excellent with a slight black pepper kick. The crust is consistently crunchy but not over cooked. FYI to those not from this area Valley pizza is supposed to have under cooked cheese! The 6 piece tray for the price of 5 pieces ($5) is a sweet deal. read more

Pizza was very good and reasonably priced. Word of advice: When you normally order 2 larges for your family, you only need one large here. There "large" is a tray that is 35 square pieces.
