Beware getting pizza from Vocelli Pizza (2600 Sunset BIvd, Steubenville, OH) | ordered online and left a note stating leave the pizza at the front door as my wife was upstairs bathing the kids and my five year-old son was downstairs in the living room watching TV. They were staring through my windows pounding on my door and then proceeded to call the cops. When I proceeded to call the general manager, he acted like he did not care and it was a normal thing. read more

I'm beyond disappointed with what was once my favorite pizza shop. Last week, we placed a large order including a build-your-own Neapolitan, an artisan pizza, and three orders of Vocelli rolls for visiting family. Upon arriving home, we discovered our Neapolitan pizza was completely bare--no sauce, no cheese, only sausage and pepperoni on top of bread. We thought it was a joke. My husband called, and the staff claimed I hadn't ordered those toppings, which is absurd. They offered a free Neapolitan on our next order, which seemed reasonable at the time. Tonight, we tried to redeem that offer. After confirming the store's location and checking my call log, the manager claimed we had never ordered from them before! He demanded a receipt as proof. After digging it out, we called again, only to be told my husband had to drive 20 minutes to the store just to place the order. He did, and then the manager claimed the non-itemized receipt didn't prove we ordered pizza. Seriously? The level of incompetence and poor customer service is astounding. They not only messed up our order but then accused us of lying and made it incredibly difficult to resolve their mistake. Save yourself the frustration and find another pizza place. We certainly are! read more

I placed my order 10-15 mins before arrival get there and am standing there for another 10-15 mins and I finally here "hes been standing there for a min will you start his order" so its been 30 mins since placing the order and its just now being started. Do not recommend read more

The service was terrible. We ordered a pizza and when we got home and opened the box, it had NO CHEESE OR SAUCE. We called and spoke to the manager who assured us we would be credited a free pizza next time we ordered. When we tried to order a week later, we were told we had never ordered from them before and they wouldn't accept our receipt as proof of our previous order because it wasn't itemized and we couldn't prove we'd ordered pizza. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. Save yourself the headache and get pizza elsewhere. read more

Worst pasta overcooked. Too much $ to pay for overcooked pasta. Their explanation meatball marinera, which has penna has to be run through cooker twice because meatballs are raw. Sounds like domino pizza joint to me. Shameful read more

Thank you! Thank you! What a great day you treated my daughter and my coworkers to. The food was great and they let my daughter learn how and make her own pizza. It was such a great moment and experience for her that she truly loved! read more

This place is great! The crust is hand tossed, thin and crispy. There's a ton of toppings on the pizza and the crust holds it all. We're pleasantly surprised. The bill was $30 for a 15" pizza, 6 rolls & 3 drinks. Can't beat it. read more

Have been craving pizza so The on line ordering process a bit cumbersome. The hot wing were very delicious could have used a bit more sauce, the pizza exactly as ordered. Curbside service was not attentive should be an employee to ensure no one is left in dark. Waited an extra 15 minutes not sure why had to go inside dispute calling just to get status of food! !! read more

Only giving a three star because the pizza was good and the older gentleman that placed our order was very nice. The guy cooking the pizza on the other hand was vocal with his F**k words. I heard him say this about 30 times while eating. He was disrespectful to the older gentleman, yelling at him and cursing at him. While all this is going on a probably 12 year old walked in and the cook was still throwing the F word left and right. No one should ever have to experience this. read more

Ordered chicken strips for my baby boy and he liked them, and spicy Italian sandwich for my husband and chicken Parmesan for myself, the spicy Italian one was so delicious I loved it and stole it from my husband, so next time we'll order two of those lol also the restaurant itself was so clean and generally I was satisfied read more

Consider all other option, even Dominoes. This place SUCKS, the service SUCKS and the drivers SUCK. Ordered pizza, arrived at the wrong address, the driver blamed me (wow) for his incompetence, extremely rude, delivery was 30 minutes late when it finally arrived, the service does not take credit cards. I refused delivery. Thank god, I dodged a bullet on this one. I can't even imagine how horrendous their food is. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

Came here the other day for the first time. I'm from Georgia & Normally when I'm in town I always get DiCarlos Pizza. but I wanted a Stromboli & I'm sure glad I came here. It was really good and packed full of toppings. Dipping sauce on the side was tasty. Also tried the Vocellis rolls & they were really good as well. I didn't get the guys name who took my order/I paid but he was really nice! read more

This store would not give the previously established school discount when I attempted to order pizzas for my choir students (a curricular music subject). They explained that it was not a large enough order (about ten pizzas) and that they normally only give the "school discount" for larger orders "you know, like for the football team." I was really disappointed that we, a school organization preparing for a school function, were not valued in the same way. read more

Arguably the best Mediterranean salad I have ever had. The Italiano house baked sub was great as well. Delivery was as promised on time.

Terrible, ordered two specialty pizzas one med, one large, and when I get there they tell me they could not make one of them. I reluctantly decided to pay for the remaining order, and when I opened it up at home I got a small cheese pizza that was clearly sitting for hours, along with the wrong bread sticks that were cold as well. Called to get a full refund, and I would not be surprised if they fail to refund me, since as the manager told me they were too busy. This store is clearly under terrible management, so order with caution. read more

Usually love the place but today we went to make an order for delivery online and were given a 2 hr estimate. Called the store immediately when given the estimate and inquired whether it was accurate and the lady said it would be 2 hrs for every order. I asked to cancel the order and was directed to the manager who said, "well we already made it" and hung up. I do not recommend this place and will never order again. There is too much competition in the area to blatantly disrespect customers who repeatedly order from your establishment. read more

Pizza was one of the worst I've ever gotten from anywhere including Domino's (which is bad). The crust was soggy thin and cardboard like. Had to throw half of the pizza away. I would not suggest it to anyone to get their pizza it was very bad. read more

I was disappointed today after I ordered a Grilled Chicken salad for lunch. Normally the container is packed full but not the last few times I ordered. Vocellis is a good place to order lunch from but not if they are going to get skimpy on the portion size. Hopefully they go back to the way it was. read more

We placed an online pizza order at 8:13 this evening with the Steubenville store as we OFTEN do. If you keep records, you will find that we have been pretty loyal and spend quite a bit at your establishment. Being a pizza store in the area, that matters because let's face it pizza shops are everywhere around here. I chose to have the driver leave the pizza on the porch so we didn't have contact. I didn't see an issue because Vocelli's has been here many times delivering, my house is clearly marked so what could go wrong?? Unless your driver delivered the pizza to drive that is. That would cause a whole bunch of issues it seems, most of which would come your extremely rude, unhelpful assistant store manager named Virgil. He offered ZERO remedies and eluded to the fact that he couldn't prove that I didn't get my pizza. I told him you could certainly prove I didn't when your driver tells you what house he delivered the pizza to and it wasn't Blvd. He told me he was out on a delivery and would have to call me back and hung the phone up on me. I am now sitting here with a starving kid, an angry husband and pizza that I paid for and never received. I expect to have my money refunded and I will be disputing the charges with my card company, I would suggest some retraining for Virgil as well. Calling my husband a "playa" and for him to be so bold to tell us to go ahead and call corporate isn't a good look for your management. Seems as though he doesn't value the customers nor care how he makes Vocellis look and may be there just to collect a paycheck. I know in this instance he has costed you a pretty loyal customer. read more
