Was sent here by my hotel's recommendation and it was wonderful! So nice to just sit and enjoy a coffee and some unique brunch. The pancakes all looked amazing - I saw some diners spritzing their pink pancakes with something - but I was in the mood for savory. All the flavors were incredible. I really liked the touch of beetroot hummus and seeds. The staff were very sweet and no one rushed you. Give this chain a try when in Barcelona!
So good!!!! Right down the street from our amazing hotel and everything was delicious. Organic and healthy options! Every was made fresh. My Bellini had dried lavender and dandelion, chefs kiss. Part of my coven felt like the scrambled eggs were over cooked. I personally did not try them, my poached eggs where divine. Never had better! Try it!
The food is so pretty and presentable you almost don't want to eat it. We got the croquet Madame and the avocado toast. Both were so delicious and very generous portions. It tends to be a bit busy in the mornings so service might be a tad slow and the prices are a bit higher than other places but the portions make up for it
This place was really cute and all about food presentation. We went on a Sunday morning, way before most people in the area wake up apparently because it wasn't busy upon opening. That's a bonus for me! We sat outside because it was so beautiful out and we had a large group. There's seating inside but the tables aren't as big. First thing I noticed about the menu was how they had a little key code to tell you what products are used in each meal so if you have a problem, allergy, sensitivity or what not, you can know what's in your food before you order. Everything sounded amazing and it was hard to decide. I went with the red velvet waffles. They were beautiful on the plate with all kinds of fancy garnishes. It wasn't sweet really at all which I kind of expected since they were sugar free. The chocolate pancakes were also sugar free but were massive and delicious! I don't remember what everyone else got but each plate was like an art design. Food art at its finest! The service was excellent and they were so friendly. I
This is a very popular spot for brunch. Their menu is simple but they add minor twist to each of their dishes to make it their own. It is fairly price for the quality and amazing presentations. We did wait 15 minutes for a party of 2. I do not suggest to come here if you have 5 or more because it is very hard to get a big table. Food: I ordered the epic cheesecake, salmon egg Benedictas w corn waffles, and matcha latte. The food came out very fast for how busy it seemed. The eggs were cooked to perfection. I do wish they had added more salmon but it was still pretty amazing their homemade hollandaise sauce. My favorite thing was their epic cheesecake with a white coat of chocolate shell. The fruits sweet and sourness combined well together wot the saltiness and sweetness of the amazing cheesecake. Their Presentation was amazing. 5/5 Atmosphere: it is a cute place but I do wish it was a bit bigger for more seating area. 4/5 Service: fast service and very friendly. They were super busy and so it was hard for them to be super attentive to us. 4/5 Overall it was good and I would come back to try different dishes.
Our server was Karla, she is the best! Food is great, presentation was amazing and service was awesome. The pictures will say it all. I got the Fries Eggs Benedict - it was so good. My friend got the Chicken Nachos Sandwich - she loved it. We got the cinnamon rolls to share - my favorite part! We had a lot left over but it was worth getting to try it all! I also got a cocoa cappuccino and that was beautiful.
We are from California and visited Barcelona this past summer. We originally went to a different Brunch and Cake, arrived at 9, and didn't want to wait (approx 45 min!!) One of the attendants told us there is a sister restaurant (they even had someone to drive us there - another group of girls chose this option, but we opted to walk for safety reasons). It was a 10 min walk, and the weather was beautiful so it was fine. There was no wait at the sister restaurant. Food: 5+/5 We ordered the "brunch pancake" and "full veggie" (I think?) Quality of food and presention was amazing - very fitting for a bougie brunch. Between 3 of us, we ordered drinks (I got the immunity juice and my sister/cousin got juice) and 2 entrees which was sufficient. But there was definitely other baked goods that looked delish! Price: 4/5 it was not bad, esp for the quality of food, but a little on the pricey side. But still appropriate for style of brunch. Location: 4/5? We are tourists, so it was good for us! The food is soo cool looking here! It's definitely made for Instagram. Each dish is made to look super unique. It's really good too! We had nachos, sandwiches, burgers... and it all came out in a new form. The colors were vibrant. Girls will eat this place up ... literally! They've other locations called Brunch & Cake with the same menu as well. Recommendation: all the dishes are fun for photos
Our goal was to eat breakfast at Brunch & Cake which is the sister cafe to here. They were under renovation and we were directed to here with a 10% off for the troubles. The place was packed and a few groups waiting outside. Fortunately the service is quick and we didn't wait long at all. The decor was bright and modern. But it was loud and the tables are all quite crammed in there. The food was amazing and so was their latte. I tried the turkey eggs Benedict which came on a BLACK waffle. I've never seen that before and it was serviced with a spinach salad in a dust pan for a plate. Too funny! My wife had a more Spanish traditional breakfast which was tortilla over veggies and eggs. We left full and we're very happy with the service. We would eat here everyday it was so good. We need to come back to try their cakes which all looked amazing too!

Brunch & Cake is such a cute breakfast/brunch spot in Barcelona! I believe they have another location, which is their original main location, but we decided to go here to avoid any possible lines. Luckily, we got here around 2pm & did not have to wait for a table, at all! We tried their cappuccino, coffee con leche, avocado toast, & their classic eggs Benedict. The avocado toast was GORGEOUS! Tasty too ;) I really enjoyed the eggs Benedict; it comes w/ jamon & a chips w/ hummus dip. Super aesthetically pleasing restaurant + food is beautifully plated. Overall, I would definitely come back again whenever I am in Barcelona ;) read more

We randomly picked this place for brunch and it did not disappoint us at all. Their green detox juice is to die for and the avocado eggs benedict was fantastic. French toast was supper delicious and everything was presented in a beautiful way. read more

Brunch & Cake, Cup & Cake, Travel & Cake - all sister restaurants. The Brunch & Cake on Carrer Enric Granados is the busiest one. I came there at 1:30 pm and was told the wait time was 1.5 hours. We walked to the next location (Travel & Cake) on Rosello and the wait was 30 minutes. Service is a bit slow. I could see that the host was seating tables as well as bussing tables. If they had another employee, tables could do a faster turn around time. When we finally sat down, we got our menus right away but then took about 10 minutes to order. We ordered a bottle of cava (not bad for 14.50€ but when the server opened it, a good portion spilled out. Guess she needs to brush up on those bottle opening skills. Every plate that was brought out looked amazing. I give it A+ for plating. The portions are huge. The menu is constantly changing and please note they do NOT do modifications. My recommendation: shrimp with lobster hollandaise sauce with salad on black bun. Definitely coming back here again. read more

Having been rather pleased on previous visits to their sister cafe Brunch&Cake I thought that this would also be good and since we were staying close by it felt like a good option. First of all service was however very lacking - after trying to get the attention of the staff for a while I ventured up to the counter to order but was almost rudely told to go and sit and wait for someone. After a while someone came over and I tried to order. My first option was sold out and the next one I was informed that the ingredients were totally different from what was on the menu (it had information of turkey and gruyere but it was now only ham instead). Since my two first option were not available I asked if she could tell me what was actually on the menu and then just got a blank stare and then a statement everything was available...Settled for the eggs Benedict hot dog and others went for a chicken salad and the mango bagel with chicken. I also made the mistake of going for coffee - the coffee was definitely better skipped... Food eventually came and when I got the eggs Benedict with the hot dog it was clear that the ingredients were very cheap and low quality. The hot dog was clearly the cheap store bought one and it was wrapped in the type of thin turkey slices that goes on the sandwich. Taste was fairly flat and nothing really stood out. Disappointing. The bagel was ok-ish, best thing was the fresh and nice mango but everything else was pretty bland and the chicken was sort of rubbery in texture. Not sure if it is the same owners as it really feels as if the sense of quality has just disappeared and the service was disinterested at best (and rude at worst) so will not return. Prices are also at the higher end for Barcelona. read more

Cute spot with delicious breakfast. Husband and I walked by and check out the menu. We were draw by the organic eggs. On our last day we decided to try this place out and was throughly pleased. The menu had a good selection of healthy and traditional egg dishes. My traveler combo with poach eggs over salad and raspberry brie sandwich was perfect. Husband's salmon egg benedict was well made with a green salad mixed with walnut and raisin. Definitely worth checking out...! read more
Small and cozy local to have breakfast, brunch, lunch or an energy boosting snack. The cakes and cupcakes they make are quite good for a snack matching a vanilla or matcha latte (which I personally recommend if you are a matchaddicted like me). For lunch, the mango avocado chicken salad is one of the best options you can choose, it is tasty and healthy. One negative thing is that they have a poor variety of cakes because they only have two staples, the carrot cake and a red berry velvet cake. Also, I'm a little upset with this place because they never have beetroot latte (and I came specially for this like 3 times) so I have not been able to try it yet. About the staff, they were normally nice and caring but today I felt a little cheated by one of the waiters. The thing is I cannot drink regular milk because I suffer from a slight lactose intolerance so I ordered my matcha latte with soy milk (which has an extra of 50 cents), as I usually do. When the waiter brought my beverage I asked him again (just to make sure) if it was made with soy milk and he said "yes, of course". Okay so, I believed him and drank my matcha latte and minutes after my stomach started to feel sick, that was when I knew he lied to me. I wasn't sure 100% that my pain was because of the milk until I saw the bill, where the 50 cents extra for the soy milk were not included. This may sound stupid for some people, but those who can't drink regular milk like me know how annoying is to pay for something that is going to make you feel not good. read more

Absolutely wonderful brunch. The classic eggs Benedict featured delicious and creamy hollandaise. The cookie inspired pancake was perfectly sweet and covered with fruits/nuts in a beautiful presentation. read more
The best brunch I have ever had. We originally went to Brunch&Cake, where there was a 30 minute wait. The waitress said to walk down 5 blocks to find this place that was exactly the same with no wait. She was spot on, and I felt more relaxed here because I didn't feel like someone was waiting for me to leave. I wish now I would have gone for something sweet rather than savory, because that seems to be what they do best. No regrets on my eggs and bagel, though. The eggs Benedict with turkey on a waffle was the best dish we got. The waffle had almost like whole granules of sugar...so sweet and crunchy and delicious! The service was nice and happy that we were there! The food came out quickly and the iced coffee was sweet and refreshing! read more
Bad English translation on the menu is cute. Kinda sad, considering that they are catering to the Anglophiles coming through the city... but, this is a food review. This bright, sunny, and charmingly informal dining room really lends itself to the whole breakfast/brunch/lunch concept. The bakery case has a tantalizing selection of sinful treats, including stuffed donuts (as I've seen at Donut Friend in Highland Park, CA - though it's not build-your-own). As for the food: The presentation is very nice, with colorful salads accompanying the sandwiches and eggs Benedict, which is what I ordered. I'm not sure about the Eggs Benedict on a Hot Dog?? but I did have the Benedict on waffle. I don't think English Muffins are available here in BCN. While I found the food delicious, it was a bit heavy, and I felt kinda ill the rest of the day. Service - well, we were a table of forceful American expats who have been living here for a combined 10 years. Had we not waved down the server, we would have been neglected and ignored. Ironic because the "note" (in bad English) on the menus said that they get very bussy [sic], and want us to help turn the table over. It's their own fault that the tables don't get turned over. Out of my short list of places I warn people away from vehemently and often is this place. A rip-off in its true form. The prices are just as high as Brunch & Cake, owned by the same people, but... The taste isn't even like "ok, not as good as Brunch & Cake," which it obviously isn't, but the taste is not at all appealing. The first time I came I ordered a fruit salad with the least fresh looking fruit that I could have imagined, like it had been covered with plastic wrap and in the freezer for 48 hours. I've ordered way too citrusy avocado toast, I've ordered overly sweet and under-tasty waffles. The salads with eggs on them are not good at all. The drinks are okay, they are fine. The worst part is that they treat you like you won't notice how little effort is put into this place. I don't understand why they don't make food like Brunch & Cake. read more

Travel and Cake is essentially the same as its sibling brunch spot, Brunch and Cake, the main difference is that Travel and Cake seems to have more seating, a wider array of deserts (and donuts!) and more locals than tourists as opposed to Brunch and Cake. The food is very good, however I don't think it's as good as its sibling spot. Still a great place for brunch, and I would recommend it if you want to go to Brunch and Cake but the line is too long... It's only a few blocks away and there's donuts involved. read more

This was our last meal in Barcelona. A favorite of all the locals and now I know why. The food is amazing! 5 Star for taste and 5 Star for presentation. They are always packed. Love the quaint atmosphere with inside and outside seating. The staff were so cheerful and helpful. We definitely recommend making a special effort to eat here if you visit Barcelona. read more

GOOD food, especially if you have a SWEET tooth (I'm more of a savoury person to be fair) loved the bagel with ham and cheese (my partner ordered it but I ate most of it lol) the turkey eggs benedict waffle was lush (only criticism a bit too sweet due to the sugar like nuggets on it) fresh orange juice nice, good service. On the second time I went I tried the Cronut (I was intrigued) didn't expect it served with a SYRINGE of sauce in the middle poking out (a bit off putting, lol!) unfortunately my sweet potato fries were nowhere to be seen (a mistake on the menu apparently) bit disappointing, after being told they were inside my bagel, before he fessed up, and out of ingredients for our smoothie of choice, a mixed bag, otherwise ok, would deffo come back here as great brunch, generally. read more

Food highlight of our trip!! First, we walked to a different location that told us there was almost a 2 hour late, but the hostess (without asking) told us that she called the other location just 0.2 miles away and that they were ready for us. The food is not only BEAUTIFUL, but tasted even better. The service is slower, but we noticed that in Spain, so just be sure to wave your waiter down whenever you see them, it's not rude. Don't be afraid to go wild with your meal choice, you won't regret anything you get here!! read more

4.5 stars. -.5 ITS EXTREMELY BUSY. I think you would always have to wait at least 15 minutes to get seated. We waited 30. I got a white americano and the super sandwich. The sandwich was awesome. It was placed on top of a stack of tortilla chips, next to a guac syringe. Piled high with spiced chicken and various veggies. It was great :) This is supposed to be exactly the same as Brunch&Cake but i've never tried that so i don't know how it compares. But it's awesome overall. read more

Travel and Cake is one of many brunch places around Barcelona run by the same company and I've heard great things about all of them. I'd frequent this spot because it was right by my apartment. This cute little shop was only a block away. It was super convenient and that made it dangerous because it was so close, had incredible food and was pretty pricey. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona, but as a regular the costs added up so I had to restrict myself from stopping in everyday. read more
