Ate out in the patio yesterday for a late lunch (and closed the place). It is quite pleasant out there, we just needed light sweaters as it was an overcast day with a bit of wind when we sat down. The Lox Benedict was delicious except a bit dry as the poached eggs were overcooked. They were overcooked in the regular Benedict we ordered as well, so minus one star. Will have to remember to ask for runny eggs on our Benedict's next time, and there will be a next time. The service was fine. read more

We were on vacation and wanted a yummy breakfast to start the day. This place got my attention on Yelp. Our server was new but she was friendly and attentive. They have a pretty extensive menu with lots of options for everybody in the family. But what they say is true: jack of all trades, master of none. They offered a lot of options, but nothing was outstanding. I ordered the Colorado omelet. Although it looked colorful when it arrived, I could tell immediately that it was overcooked. The edges were browned and the egg just looked dry and shriveled up. After a few bites, I confirmed it - it was the most overcooked, bland omelet I've ever had. Man was that a disappointment. I really wanted to like this place! My husband wasn't too excited about his entree either. There was a woman walking around, possibly the manager or owner. She came by to bring our food but she didn't smile and wasn't very interactive. It seemed like she didn't really enjoy her job. This location has great potential. I really see it, but it could use some improvement. read more

First of all the staff is very nice. We were seated right away and the waitress was also very nice. My husband had the steak and eggs which he really liked. However I had the biscuits and gravy with potatoes and it was not good. The sausage was a bit strange tasting and the gravy was not a sausage gravy, it was a hollandaise type sauce and it was terrible to pair with biscuits. The appearance of it looked like a broken hollandaise sauce. The biscuits were more like a roll consistency than a biscuit and were also not very good. I actually couldn't eat more than a couple bites of it and ended up only eating the eggs. read more

Omg! Fooooood is so good!!!! Great service and cool vibe! Big portions! Pretty busy on Sundays but worth the wait!

While I really want to date this spot higher and I like the ambiance and the food, the service turned me off and I likely won't return or recommend going here. We ordered a Corned Beef Omelet and a Lox Omelet, with fruit, crispy hash browns, and never actually got all of my food. Meanwhile the waitstaff are standing behind the counter talking and this after reminding them that we ordered it. That is unacceptab. read more

Hidden gem! This place was really yummy! Had the stuffed French toast and wowwww it was sooo good! Bottomless coffee bar as well!

the food, oh. I ordered an omelet and asked that it no be dry. it came rather quickly and was was dry with undercooked vegetables and "nice" chewy meat, bacon and sausage. the service started out very slow. the place was not crowded. I've rarely paid so much for so little, realizing inflation is in full swing. their coffee was self service (served in hand pumped style containers. you know the type hotels have with their free breakfast. lastly the place felt and looked dirty. I'll never know where the 4 star reviews came from! it isn't that I won't go back... I just can't (and won't). read more

Nice patio area and a promising menu but the service was slower and than slow - waited over 20 mins to be asked what drink I wanted and then another 20 minute until it actually came. When food finally arrived it was cold and undercooked. I had to send it back. It was remade and returned promptly with many apologies for the wait and the poor quality first time around. The manager/ owner (not sure) scrapped our whole bill as a result of our experience which we appreciated. I hope they can improve as it's a nice spot otherwise. read more

I normally get the chicken fried steak with eggs. However, today I tried the California Cobb Salad which was very good.

Everything was great, from the minute Brian opened the door for us, his wonderful customer service, and the delicious generous portions of food. I only wish I lived closer! read more

The servers were so friendly! We got a table right away on a Sunday late morning. Unfortunately we received our food before drinks after a considerable wait. I was so excited to see gluten free pancakes! But my bottom pancake was really dark and then I found a hair baked in the other. The side of bread never arrived for my partner but everything had taken so long we had to leave. I have confidence this restaurant will come together and get it all together! read more

food is SOOO GOOD. they take a decent amount of time to prepare your food. The service is so nice and they accommodate everyone's needs. The inside is very homey and their outside patio has lots of shade with a touch of breeze. read more

So I like the ambience and feel of the restaurant but the food may have been good if it came out at least warm. We came in on a weekend morning with only 2 other people in the restaurant and the staff seemed friendly, but the food took forever and it when it did make it to the table it was cold. I don't know if the server was on his phone too long in the back and forgot to bring the food to our table or what. Either way I don't think we'll be back :-/ read more

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE? When they first opened we came here often and it was a 5 star business. Food, service , ambience, it had it all. The last two times here were horrible! In all fairness, our server was good. However, before I even walked in the door I noticed the door was filthy. Finger prints all over the glass. It doesn't take a minute to keep your entry looking nice. At the coffee bar, instead of having milks and creams in carafes, they were in the original containers, and boxes. And they looked well used. A little clean up now and then would make a huge difference. My coffee tasted burnt. It could have just been the one I chose.... My husband's burger was just ok. He ordered it medium rare and it was closer to well done. Flavor was ok. I ordered the apple pancake roll. It said nothing about a filling on the menu. It was overflowing with something that looked like mayonnaise and had almost no flavor at all. I asked what it was and the server said marscapone with something lemon in it. Seriously could have fooled me. And I like marscapone. The spiced apples on top were dry, like they were maybe cooked earlier and sat around for a while. There was no cinnamon sauce that you usually associate with cinnamon apples. The dish was lukewarm at best. I don't know how they managed that as it really didn't take overly long to get it. We did tell the waitress. She said she would discuss it with the manager. I hope she does. We won't be back. read more

The food was authentic. Great breakfast place. I ordered the basic eggs with potatoes and bacon. The bacon cooked just right, not too crispy. The potatoes were full of taste, they had bell peppers and onion and spices that made my mouth water. It's a cozy little spot and they have fresh squeezed orange juice! My other half ordered the eggs Benedict with chorizo and he said it was the best Benedict he has ever had in his life. read more

First time coming and was disappointed by it, based on good reviews was expecting it to be, well good. Will not be coming back. For the price and the quality of food was extremely poor. Ordered a simple Brunch point breakfast, food was cold and received hot dogs as sausage(never been to a breakfast place that served hot dogs for breakfast sausage). For the price also only got one slice of toast. The service was decent. But for it being a mid morning and not busy , food and ambience was bad. read more

It is simply unfair that they only have 4 stars! We were in town for an early hockey game and decided to grab a bite after. We are normally not bunch people but boy, this place changed our minds. I mean I didn't know a bunch place can ever get 5 stars, to us, brunch is just bacon and eggs... I ordered the stuffed French toast and my hubby got the eggs benedicts while the kids had breakfast tacos. They were all beyond delicious. I highly recommend to place!! Oh I should add: they also have all kinds of coffee so you ought to find something you would like if you are a coffee drinker. read more

Excellent food, great service & awesome coffee bar to help yourself from an array of coffee choices! Mom & I shared an omlet & fresh fruit & she enjoyed a mango lemonade which was very good while I had a couple different flavors of coffee. I am baffled by the amount of 5 star reviews this place has been getting. We were there yesterday around noon (with 2-3 other tables), and the entire experience still has us in disbelief. I do want to highlight a couple good things though (hence the 2 stars instead of 1). The place was very clean. And the ingredients used seemed to be of high quality. Once they got the food right. Now the rest: We got seated quickly by presumably the woman who was the manager or owner. Our server was nice and offered us a heater on the patio- plus points, right?! But it was empty, and they had no other propane so no heat. The coffee bar concept is a great idea, but their carafes keep it warm at best, and 2/3 of them were empty anyway. We ordered our food (chicken fried steak and Eggs Benedict), already bumming on the coffee and heater but also excited because of the good reviews. The food took way too long for how empty the place was, and the gravy comes out all separated with oil pools-gross! We send it back. I take a bite of the benedict, the muffin is cold and not at all grilled, and the egg is ice cold as well. Not to mention I asked for no lettuce but it was on there. When the server finally comes back, he takes mine back as well. He gives the excuse that the head chef will have to remake it because the other chef is struggling. Totally fine, they have to train, but why is the head chef not checking items before they go out of the kitchen? Needless to say, we didn't even get to eat together because our food didn't get fixed and come out together. The server then drops the credit card machine with the tip screen showing before even reviewing the bill, right in front of my bf while I am still eating and walks away. Never to be found again until we track him down inside to pay. I think the most off putting part is the lack of customer service throughout this experience. Things happen, we understand that. And the 2nd time the food came out made correctly, it was great! But where was the manager to at the very least apologize or check in once the food was re-served? Oh, right, the two people who appeared to be in charge were sitting backs to their guests at the bar top on their computers instead. Why is the coffee bar only 1/3 stocked? Why did food take 25 minutes in an empty restaurant? Why did we not hardly see our server? Why is acceptable to drop a credit card machine in someone's face while someone else is still eating? There is no excuse for 0/2 dishes to come out edible, but there is really no excuse to not take responsibility as the manager or owner and attempt to repair the situation or make sure your customers are happy. We will not be back, and we could not recommend this place, as the entire experience from start to finish was a fiasco. read more

My fiancee and I came in, and were greeted warmly by the wait staff and we were seated down immediately. The restaurant was maybe half filled or less. We were brought our waters, then ignored for the next 15 minutes before we decided to leave. There were tables that came in after us, that were being served and brought drinks/food after we were seated. We couldn't even flag down a waiter/waitress, because they were busy or had their backs to us. I thought it was ridiculous that the server who sat us down was cleaning tables and helping the table next to us, but ignoring us. I understand when staff are busy and it takes time for them to make their way back to you, but half the place was empty. It seemed like they had enough staff working, so it was frustrating to be forgotten about. I understand this is a new place and I had high hopes for a new brunch spot in the Vista / San Marcos area, but I was sadly disappointed. After visiting I read similar reviews by other customers, so be prepared if you plan to take a chance on this place! read more

We went and had a breakfast at this location, Brunch Point, service was great, however upon asking if they could use olive oil when cooking our food/breakfast, the answer was no. The waitress seemed to think perhaps he ran out of olive oil, but they currently use canola oil, which is not a healthy oil at all. I followed up and called the restaurant and spoke to the manager/owner asking if he could use olive oil per request, trying to stick to a healthy diet, his answer was he could not it was too expensive for him. I told him what a shame we loved your place, but we won't be returning if you cannot accommodate our request. I sincerely cannot believe that a restaurant this day and age isn't looking out for people with restrictive diets, and simply just want to eat healthier. What a simple request to accommodate by using olive oil. I'm sure we're not alone in this type of request, as well as others electing not to return. We certainly will not return. read more

Brunch Point - Avocado Toast - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Vista, California

I wanted to love this place but everything fell short. There was a refillable coffee bar which seemed awesome, but many were empty and the others were cold. I ordered avocado toast and my partner got a Benedict. It took over 30 minutes to bring out his food and about 45 minutes for mine because the egg they were boiling was taking long. How a boiled egg, mashed avocado, and toast takes 45 minutes to make is confusing. The servers were kind and apologetic, but I likely won't go back. read more
