However, we will not be returning because the food was some of the worst we have ever had, although my husband did enjoy the coffee. I had an order of hash browns, and after a few choked down bites, my husband said the I did not have to eat them. So loving on his part, and I was so relieved. He had the chicken salad sandwich off the lunch menu and they were served with potato chips. He asked the server for French fries, but they did not offer any. We will never return.

Very friendly staff and delicious food, I always ask for Kayla she is amazing and always has my drink order with her when she comes to our table, after the first time there she knew our names and always greets us even when we can't sit in her section. The manager Michael is awesome he too come and says hi to every table and checks to make sure Your food is great. Never a bad meal yet. Love love love this place read more

We went twice. My first time, I got a skillet with eggs over easy over skirt steak, potatoes, peppers, and tomatoes, and it came with your choice of pancakes or French toast. I got pancakes. I couldn't get over how tender and flavorful the steak was because it was cut up in bite-sized pieces. I was given a choice of salsa, and I chose the green one (Yum!), The pancakes were sooo good and fluffy; I didn't need syrup. I also got hot tea. It comes in a cute clear teapot so you can see if the tea has steeped long enough for a couple of cups. They also have little bottles of honey. The second time we went, I got a senior omelet, which included four add-ins (I got onions, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and avocado). It was the size of a small football. I had my choice of hash browns or fresh fruit and pancakes or French toast. I got hash browns cooked perfectly and French toast this time. I so wish this restaurant was closer to home because both times it was sooo good and because there were so many things I wanted to try! The service is wonderful. You are greeted right away when you walk in, and when you are seated, they bring you ice water. Service is quick no matter how busy they are, and they check on you frequently. It is very comfortable seating; chairs and booths are all padded. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. Make sure you visit one of their restaurants while you are in the suburbs of Chicago. You won't be disappointed!

At the 50 minute mark we heard the catering story for about the 20th time and other tables that came after us were being served food first. We FINALLY got served our food 63 minutes from being seated. Here's our suggestions: when a wait becomes unreasonable in the staffs perspective, offer some freebies to the table to munch on (mini donut holes, whole fruit (grapes, mandarins, apples), bread basket). This low-star rating is mostly coming from that starving/frustrated wait period. Calming the hunger could help. Also, instead of adding money for using a credit card, reframe that by offering a cash discount. I get the ccc is out of the restaurants control. Be prepared for a catering order-it's Sunday Brunch time. You are new! People are excited. Don't honor catering requests that come in too late. We won't be back for a long while.
