He had an Onion Bagel with veggie cc. I had a Asiago Cheese with lite plain cc. PS Their veggie cc is better than Uncommon Grounds because it has more veggie bits. Their cc is as creamy in texture as Uncommon Grounds which is another plus. Staff is attentive and pleasant. They have a Reward Program which gives you a free bagel and cc after first purchase. Cafe/bakery chain preparing small-batch, New York-style bagels, plus breakfast & lunch sandwiches. Bruegger's has been kettle-boiling then baking fresh bagels since 1983. We ordered via delivery app and the bag arrived still sealed with the sticker, but missing 5 sandwiches. This is the second time in a row we were missing food, so we called the restaurant to resolve the issue and they were extremely rude from the start and then they hung up on us. We went to the store to get our food and they told us to leave. We requested again the food we paid for and they said leave or they'd call the cops. We have not gotten our food or a refund. Chain restaurants don't seem to get too much love for some reason and I know not to judge a restaurant by its rating, and I'm so glad we have this place a try because it was really impressive! Sure, it was disappointing to find the dining room closed and it took more than a bit of time for orders to come out, but the food certainly made up for it. The Skinny Bacon Avocado & Tomato Egg White was this warm, juicy, sweet + salty and tangy wholesome goodness that I had hoped it would be, and the Smoked Salmon was just what it should be - nothing more, nothing less. I would like to take some time out of my day to leave this review. First I would like to say that if 0 or negative stars was an option I would gladly leave that but since we have to act like everything is fair we give them 1 star so they don't feel bad about themselves. I have had two terrible experiences back to back now due to the incompetence of the staff. I personally have never seen a more overweight, sloppy, and concerningly slow group of workers. I ordered two sandwiches the other day and got told my first 3 bagel options were out of stock so they checked for a 4th and had one left and charged me for a gourmet bagel which they then told me they didn't have it and tried to substitute it for a regular bagel. Today I ordered two sandwiches again, had to give my order 3 times for the lady at the register to understand me, to get home and have it missing practically everything i asked for with the bacon barely being cooked. They allow a homeless man to take up residency in their lobby all day, no hairnets with employees keeping a rainbow colored bees nest on top of their head and sweating all over the place. If you would like a good breakfast sandwich or even just one you ordered I would thoroughly recommend not going here! read more

I hadn't eaten here in years and I had it pop into my mind and I wanted some! I brought my daughter and her friend. The place looked a bit different then I remember. The menu had changed as well but lots of cool offerings like brisket and pepper bacon. Cool thing was for the egg sandwiches they had a guy cooking them right there in front of you which is a nice feature in the quick service industry. Service was decent today! I ordered an Everything Bagel with Lox Spread. I paid for extra spread because they are so darn cheap with the normal amount. The bagels at Bruegger's are made well. There is, however, such a thing as too much stuff on an everything bagel. Bruegger's has hit that mark. Too much of everything which detracts from the bagel itself. The "Lox Spread" is just horrible. They are using some kind of additive to send you the allusion of Lox. There is no actual salmon in the mix. It is fishy tasting and not in a good way. Eating this 4 dollar bagel essentially made me angry. This company really needs a total overhaul. Check my other reviews soon. The service was absolutely terrible here. When we got there they had no line, and one disinterested employee who would take an order, and then disappear for 5 minutes. One friend ordered, and the employee walked into the back and left her standing there!!!! When the manager (or someone in charge) said something to an employee about leaving while there was a line...the employee swore, and still continued leaving for the day. *Bias Alert* Ok full disclosure, I worked at this Bruegger's all through high school. So I'm kind of partial to it. However one should consider the fact that during all 4 years high school I ate there virtually everyday and I never got sick of it. That's saying something. I'm still addicted to it to this day. Maybe someday I'll open up my own franchise out west. I have thought about it at times. This Bruegger's tends to be one of the busiest in the area. You are almost always guaranteed to have at least one type of hot fresh bagel variety there. And here's a tip, if they don't have what you are looking for available and or hot, you can request they bake it for you. They will do it on the spot. So if you don't mind waiting 20 minutes, go ahead and ask. Take a stroll to the other shops nearby while you wait. It sure would help the local economy :) A love their soups. They have great clam chowder and during the summer months an awesome gazpacho. You really can't go wrong with any of their soups. Right now chicken noodle should be topping the list for the cold and flu season. My favorite sandwich there, is the Chicken Fajita sandwich. Sadly it's no longer on the menu but I still ask for it and they will make it. The dining area is usually bustling with people. Sometimes they are overwhelmed with customers and they don't get to cleaning off the tables right away. But, generally it's a clean dining area. There is limited parking in the front and lots of room for parking in the lot behind the shop. Go there if you love fresh bagels. You won't regret it! read more

Went today for Brueggers Birthday!! The bagels are delicious. I highly recommend the Everything bagels and Asiago bagels those two are my absolute favorite. They have a wonderful variety of cream cheeses, neither flavor has ever disappointed. Their bagels seem to have gotten smaller maybe it's just me but the flavors are exceptionally goods m. Summary: Utterly horrible! Coming from Brooklyn, which has some of the best bagel spots in the nation, I was looking for a place that fill the nostalgia of being away from home. But my experience here was absolutely distasteful. The only reason why I am bothering to give this place 2 stars, is because its bagels were OKAY. Nothing great, but just a notch better than something you can buy from a nearby Dunkin-Donuts. The staff was beyond disgraceful. They were unappreciative, and looked as if they forced to be there. They reminded me of a spoiled teenager who gave a look of disgust whenever they were given chores to do. They didn't have a great selection of bagels, and the cream cheese was very "meh". It was also slightly overpriced. Would not consider coming here again. I would actually recommend the Dunkin Donuts across the street over Bruegger's. First and foremost I love Brueggers, but for the last 10 years this location has gone down hill. It's to the point where I'm shocked they're still open. They never have any bagels, which is strange for a bagel spot. Today they hit a new low with no coffee. You would think if they were out of something like that they would put a sign up, but they don't care. I've seen people go on break in the middle of making sandwiches with a line out the door. The only reason I am writing this review is because I desperately hope someone from the store in an ownership/management position reads this. I really only have one thing to say...REPLACE THE CARPETING IN THE PLACE!!! Unfortunately, Katz Kafe -- the place that serves "breakfast all day" -- was not, in fact, open for breakfast. So we settled on Brueggers. And I was glad we did. We tried the Sriracha and Denver bagel sandwiches, and both were great. Also ordered a large cup of coffee, and that did the trick as well. This is a really good location of Bruegger's because it's right on Union street and convenient to a lot of other places (and it's within walking distance to my house). There are plenty of tables inside and outside. Bruegger's doesn't have the best bagels I've ever had but they are pretty good. I'd recommend the cinnamon sugar bagel or any of the sandwiches. They have good soup options there as well (as with the other locations) and apparently in third grade some kids went on a field trip there to see how they make bagels. The service here is so awful I almost left and drove 10 minutes to Central Ave. the male employee appeared to have rolled out of bed and still had not woke up, at 11 AM. I watched him remake a customers sandwich several times while looking up at the menu because he had no idea how to make the order! My fiancé and I had ordered a plain bagel with herb an garlic cream cheese and a blueberry bagel with a little bit of butter. No more than 1 minute later a different employee than I first mentioned who had taken our order asked if we wanted plain cream cheese on the blueberry bagel and honey walnut on the pain bagel. When we re-ordered she proceeded to drench the bagel in butter to the point it was a toasted bagel that was soggy all the way through. I have never left a bad review before but this is warranted.
