Where do i even start.. The little girl who took my order was VERY rude and snappy which her name on my receipt said emma. I then tried to speak with someone other than her for some extra sauce and what seemed to be a manager seemed so annoyed to help me and practically threw the extra sauce on the counter then started working very angrily. Everyone there looked miserable. I asked if she was the manager and she confirmed she was one of them but said it in a rude tone that i felt it wasn't worth complaining to her about my experience. I don't understand how this business is going to succeed with the current management in place & Covid19. The person who is giving food out and handling cash isn't wearing gloves I ordered online so the food would be ready upon arrival and hot. Am sitting here stunned. My cheesesteak bread is cold. I asked why it wasn't toasted. Jonas Contras the manager said "you have to ask for it" said it was our first time here. The cashier should have asked. He said 0h well u can order it toasted next time"!!! I said I would like it fixed and he said no, he wouldn't do that. "It isn't a good enough reason". Really!?! We ordered food to be delivered. We had different orders and they were perfect. The order was wrapped in foil and then paper. This kept the order warm but not soggy. Pulled up at 8:50 when they list closing at 9. And was told by "Doug" he sounded like an older gentleman. That the only thing they had at that time was cold subs because the grill was already turned off. He told me that they had salads available and I tried ordering a chicken salad and he said no chicken was available. This was my first time here. And I don't think I'll be back again. I should have known when I asked for a cheesesteak and the nice lady taking my order asked me, chicken or beef? Steaks don't come from chickens so I was, naturally, confused. I looked at the giant menu on the wall, verified it said "cheesesteak", and looked back at the overly nice lady and slowly said a cheesesteak. She asked me again chicken or beef? Just went through the drive-thru and watched the girl at the window drop my wrapped sandwich on the dirty, greasy floor then turn to see if I saw it. She saw that I did see it but proceeded to put the dirty sandwich in the bag with the open french fry bag and then she handed it to me. I asked if she dropped the sandwich to which she answered, "Yes, but it's wrapped." GREAT! The second Bruchi's in Yakima, this one has a drive-through and a nicer dining room. The decor is clean and modern, the menu takes up an entire wall. Good food, consistent with the first location. They've just opened up, so allow for them to work out some kinks but it is an excellent west-valley location. Northeast corner of Summitview and 56th Ave. This review will probably fade into oblivion as other, newer, reviews take it's place, but since you're here why don't you add a nice rating if you have some nice words to say (and remember what your Mom always said, "If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything"). Great to see businesses thrive in Yakima. Let's support restaurants here by being Yakima-friendly. Bread was quality and perfectly crisp yet soft to the bite, steak wasn't chewy in the slightest it was very good quality along with the chicken! Just stopped in for lunch and service was good, food was good and hot. The one complaint that I have is I believe the music was way to loud. This was on a Sunday afternoon and there was a nice crowd there. But the music should have not been so loud. When you go into a restaurant to eat a meal you do not need the music so loud that it is hard to carry on a conversation with the people you came to eat with and visit. HORRIBLE customer service at the Summitview location! I ordered $45 worth of sandwiches (4 sandwiches) for my family. When I got home (an hour away) and opened the bag it was the wrong order and only included two sandwiches and both were spicy so I couldn't even feed them to my kids. I called the store to let them know about the mix up and no one would answer the phone. I left a message with my contact info and asked for a call back, also explaining what had happened. I continued to call every day for 4 days (leaving messages every time) and emailed the corporate email. NO RESPONSE!!!! Finally on the 5th day I got a hold of a manager that said he would correct the problem and to come through and he'd make the correct order for me. I drove all the way there and placed my order and told them who I talked to on the phone. Manager came out and told me he would only give me a discount after he just told me on the phone they would "make it right" and get me the correct order! Cold fries, soggy sandwiches and now this... First time at Bruchi's west valley, wasn't impressed. I walk in and notice a dusty floor with straw wrapper debris and napkins in a number of places. When I walk up to the counter I notice the floor back in the kitchen is also littered with debris. I stood there ready to order for several minutes before I was finally helped and felt like I was being ignored. There was only one family there eating at the time so they weren't at all busy.
