CONSUMER BEWARE!!! Bruce's Septic Service is the same company as Silvia Septic Service!!! Is there such thing as a -100 star review??? If so, "Bruce/Silvia Septic Service deserves the worst possible review status. Let me began; We hired them to inspect and pump our septic system at our new house. The tub that came out poured 200gal of water in my tank and called it good. He said he would be back later to pump it and of course never showed back up. After multiple calls with no responses I finally called with a blocked ID and left a message for them to call me back (BTW I didn't leave my name and 2 days later I received a call back from a lady.) I gave her my name and address and she sounded upset when she figured out who I was. However she put me on the schedule for Thursday at 1300. I took a day of leave from the military so I could be there to make sure they did everything right. Unfortunately they never showed up. I called again and left multiple messages with no response. This company needs to be shut down. I will do everything in my power to make sure that happens. I will be taking them to small claims court. PLEASE DO ME A HUGE FAVOR AND SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, FIND A REPUTABLE COMPANY!!! read more

This guys is absolutely horrible. He's always late when he actually shows up. He didn't show up to two of my apts because he was trying to go on vacation and never thought it was appropriate to call and say he wasn't showing up. I could go on but I won't. He's horrible and completely Unprofessional. Don't use him. I could not find a yelp account for Silvia's septic. If you need septic service. Go to Silvia's septic!!! read more

I agree with the others--absolutely worthless. Go elsewhere. Doesn't call back or make appointments. Use Seekamp instead. He came out within two hours on a Saturday night. Bruce also clearly does not care whether he gets bad reviews online or not. read more

Bruce's Septic/Silvia's Septic is HORRIBLE. came out to my house for a presale inspection appointment (we've been a customer for a couple years with no complaints). uncovered a lid, said he'd return and never came back. Wouldn't return phone calls. A week later I did get a hold of him and he promised he'd be out in the morning to finish the work... never showed up. We have ended up going with Johnny's Septic (5 stars) and as we've discovered in this process, Bruce's Septic/Silvia's Septic/Silvia's Construction was the company that originally installed the system over 20 years ago... does this tell me something about why he'd leave the inspection undone??? I'd like to see him removed from the list of approved or even suggested companies in the county. read more

I was surprised to see such low ratings for Bruce's Septic. My husband was very happy with Bruce's honesty. We were inexperienced with the system, so Bruce took the time to explain. His professionalism also played out when it came charging us for the service call. read more

If I could write zero stars I would. Called them on a Sunday night he didn't make it out Monday like he said he would, made it out Tuesday to tell me that it was my sand filter transfer pump and they will get it taken care of. A week later no phone call nothing done I called them all day with no answer and I'm still out my septic tank with alarms going off using a different service now. Phone call back would've been great or some kind of communication back-and-forth. I would not recommend if you need something done quickly. read more

This is really a zero star person. He make appointments and promises and never shows up. All talk no show. Three appointments, no show three times. Can't comment on his work since he never came. Odd behavior since there is a large number of septic companies on Whidbey Island and limited business. Islanders might say this is the "island way"; others might say this is the "screw your neighbor over way." read more

Just like the others if I could give a zero stars I would. I had a hard time getting a straight answer about anything from the beginning or getting in contact with them, via email and phone. They took four months to do the work, but only showed up roughly 5 times to do ANY work. I had to constantly call and ask what is taking them so long to finish the work. We had a hole in our yard the entire time, for what reason, I don't know and apparently neither did they. Every time I called I would hear another excuse of why no on has been at the house for weeks. Eventually, I would just hear "I have no idea why". When I asked for them to come fill the hole and remove all the tubing and junk laying around, she mentioned that they were busy this week and would get back with me in a few days. Um, last I checked we were a client of yall's since 4 months ago.They should have made time to come and finished the job before taking on other jobs. Mind you, them getting back to you in a few days, is them never contacting you. I ALWAYS had to follow up, multiple times, when I was told that. As a established company, they should hold true to their word. On their end, they had our property closed, as in the work was complete. There is no coordination or communication with this company. What really got me was when one of the workers came to the house after weeks of no work showed up for less than an hour and said he forgot his extension cord, so he was done working for the day. You know when the next time they came back, yeah I don't either! I 100% do not recommend them. read more
