Dec. 2014 Seattle Storm Hi, my name is Deb. This last Dec. a Winter Storm hit and my roof was in pieces. Four of my Neighbors roofs were in pieces also. So, five of us ladies got together and called our insurance Companies and that was no help, We all pretty much got the same response, you will have to wait till we can get to you since there are so many calls. We all started wondering what now ? My Girlfriend Jane suggested we should find a roofer that can maybe come out and help us. So that's what we did. Five ladies on five cell phones going though the phone book and the internet and 411. We all made lunch and dug in. Three hours into the hunt my girlfriend Susan looked out the window and said it's a miracle, there's a roofers truck across the street. We all grabbed our coats and went across the street and the roofer was just finishing up with our neighbor Frank. When the roofer turned around and saw us five ladies standing there he said are all you ladies ok ? Susan said we are now! All our roofs are gone and we need help. He asked which houses were ours and he said give me a couple of hours to put plastic over our roofs then we could discuss the next step. So we waited inside for a couple of hours and we hear a knock at the door. The roofer says hi ladies, I'm Bruce with Bruce's Roofing. We sat down and we did our introductions and asked if we each had homeowners Insurance and we did. Bruce called each of our Insurance Companies and asked if he could put in a bid to fix the roofs and each insurance Company said yes. Before Bruce left he told us to have patience that insurance Companies send out 2-4 roofers to get bids and this won't happen over night and depending how busy your insurance companies are with all the damage the storm did, it would be like take a number and wait your turn. Bruce also said that he did a great job at putting plastic on our roofs and there should be no leaks. If the wind blows off the plastic to call him and we will fix it for you. After two to three weeks go by it happened like Bruce said, all of us had roofers coming out of the wood work giving us bids for our insurance companies. Four week in I got a call from Bruce and he said he won all 5 bids and he would be out tomorrow morning to start. All the ladies got together that night and we were so excited. We even picked straws on who's house would be first lol. Bruce showed up the next morning with eight roofing trucks and men everywhere. His plan was to get three houses the first day and two houses the next day. The first day that's what he did, three houses and came back the next day and did the other two houses. WOW ! What a pleasant end to a four week nightmare. All of us will recommend Bruce's Roofing till the day we die. A man of his word and his work is very amazing. I first met Bruce's Roofing in December 2018, when my new construction home of 4 years had shingle damage due to a severe wind storm. With a severe wind storm, you can imagine how hard it was to find a roofer on a Saturday morning. I called several and Bruce is the only one who called me back within minutes! In fact the others never called back at all. He came out the same day and put tarp on my roof. His crew was back on Monday to install new shingles. One month latter we had more severe winds with shingle damage for my house and my two neighbors. I called Bruce's roofing, expecting a long delay because the storm was so much more severe. He called me back immediately telling me past customers always raise to the top of his list. This time, knowing that my roof would continue to be damaged in storms because of poor choice of the builder in materials and labor, Bruce encouraged me to open an insurance claim. He met with my adjuster and incredibly, the insurance company authorized a complete new roof. He educated me on the correct product and installation and we chose a produce that would withstand up to 130 mile winds and had a reinforced nailing strip. His crew came back shortly and they were amazing. They arrived in a caravan of professional business trucks, including a boom to raise the shingles to my 3 story home. They were professional and amazing hard workers. They were conscientious of the neighbors, parked appropriately, kept the noise level down as possible, used appropriate language and worked very hard. They completed the job in one day, as well as putting on a 1/2 roof for my neighbor. The cleaned throughout the day making sure that all debris and nails were removed. Bruce himself supervised much of the set up, and came back the next day for a final inspection. This company is amazing! I'm happy to give them my full reference, and confidence. Great Roofing Company We had a big wind storm and my shake roof was in pieces. I called around and the only roofer out of 20 to come out the same day was Bruce's Roofing at 5:30 pm. Two hours after I called them they were knocking on my door (Bruce's Roofing). It felt really good that the owner, Bruce himself was doing this. He jumped up on the roof, put plastic up on the roof to cover the places the roof was missing pieces to keep the water damage to a minimum. Watching him do that without me asking him to do that was a great feeling. While he was up there I called my insurance company and they said they could be there in two hours. I went outside and told Bruce the insurance guy would be here in two hours and Bruce said he would wait for the insurance guy to show up. That was a really good feeling to have Bruce wait that long. Anyways, my insurance guy showed up and 2 1/2 hours later and he and Bruce got on my roof, talked a while and told me what the plan was. The plan was Bruce would be there at 8:00 am to replace my roof. Bruce's Roofing was there the next day at 8:00am sharp. By 4:00 pm the Roof was on my 3500 square ft. home (shake) and my yard cleaned up and it looked like nothing ever happed to my roof except it looked new. What a great experience. I told him I saw a couple bad reviews and I had a great experience and asked Bruce what was that all about. He said he's always up front, been in business since 1971 and there is always 1 person that is never happy no matter what you give or how much you give. Just watching him in action I could tell he is a giver. I thought that was a great answer. For him not to name names showed great character. Bruce's Roofing replaced my entire, they are very professional and did a fabulous job! The crew is very friendly and has great customer service. I was impressed with the care they took to clean up around my yard. It is so important to hire the right company when doing home improvements, especially the roof. Take it from me - my previous roof wasn't put on right and every major wind storm part of my roof would come off. Bruce's Roofing is knowledgeable they explained to me how they were going to tear down and lay the new roofing. They showed me how my previous roofing wasn't laid and nailed right, which was very obvious to see after they explained it. When a huge douglas fir tree crashed into our roof, I was pretty freaked. Almost all the roofing companies advertise 'roof repair', but apparently that doesn't mean extensive structural repairs. I was so relieved when I found Bruce's Roofing! Bruce was a rock start from the very beginning. He assured me that "This was no problem for them to fix." He walked me through the process and expertly installed specialized sheeting to keep the rain out. When I asked a question about my insurance coverage, he pulled out his phone and said he'd worked with my agent for years and gave him a call right there. I couldn't believe how fast they got the job done. The first dry day, they had a brand new roof on and a couple of weeks later we had brand new gutters. Because of the extent of the structural damage, I had some concerns about the initial repairs. Bruce is the best, when I called him he said "How about I have a crew out there tomorrow?" Bruce's Roofing is the real deal. I received several bids for a shake roof replacement (went to Certainteed TL composite) and Bruce was very competitive on the price and he and his team over delivered. How often does that happen these days? His team is top notch and they did everything they said they would do with no added charges or nickle and diming me for things. I was blown away by the crew and how much they cared about my roof and doing things right. They worked in 90 degree weather and never complained or slacked and when finished, they left my house and yard very clean. Extremely professional. You can tell the crew took alot of pride in their work, was always here on time and put in a full days work. Bruce dropped by several times during the install to check on things and make sure it was all being done to my satisfaction. I should have done some more research before hiring Bruce's roofing. The most dishonest person out there. The insurance company delyed the roofing repair payment by a month ( a tree damaged leaking roof ) as knew clearly Bruce's roofing repair proposal was outrages. Bruce was the first roofer we called but eventually i found a different roofer for literally half the cost which insurance approved without any issues. Bruce charged my insurance company $5000 ( five ) to remove the fallen tree quoted by 4 other roofers at $700 max. The time wasted and grief caused by this company could have been avoided if i just looked a little further online. Here is what i would have found. If I could give you guys 1 star I would. You did a crap job 9 years ago. And then came back this last year to fix the whole roof. (Multiple leaks everywhere throughout house.) Took half the roof off one day and put down 5/8 plywood. Then came back another day and put down 3/8 plywood. And put the 3/8 and 5/8 together. Did nothing gutter wise didn't put any flashing on the sides. And the vapor barrier underneath is cheap plastic you would use for beds.. no contact from you for weeks until you wanted money for the new fans you installed. Thats when we got lawyer's involved with multiple insurance company's because you committed tax fraud years ago and had to change insurance company's. Do not ever use this guy for your roof. To top all that off im pretty shure he has illegal mexicans working for him. I love mexicans tho and I don't have a problem with them working I have a problem with the scumbag who's hiring them and not giving them fair wages. read more

We received several competitive bids for our recent roof replacement. I cannot say enough about this company. After being in our new home for just 5 months we discovered the seller failed to tell us how badly the roof leaked. WA rains hit and windows started leaking. Brown stains appeared in several rooms. Door jams swelled with water and screwed up the doors. Not only did Bruce himself come the day I called, when we decided to go with him they fit us in the very next day. I chose Bruce because he inspired trust, a tough thing these days. And frankly, he was a eminently likeable guy. These guys busted out our roof in a single day. They were efficient! Even my roofer husband approved of their job, a tough sell. This firm has integrity, also a rare thing these days. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. They did an awesome job. I can finally sleep better at night knowing my roof won't leak. After an Enumclaw snow/ windstorm made a mess of my roof, ripping cedar shakes off and leaving leaks in my ceilings, I called Bruce's Roofing. He had replaced my roof 20 years previously and did an amazing job. With no delays Bruce himself, was out to my home for estimated repairs. Immediately with a great Traveler Insurance representative, I had my roof replaced 3 days later. I decided with the strong winds that hit my house, I preferred to replace cedar shakes with a composition roof. Bruce also will explain what would be best in detail. It only took Bruce's crew a total of 5 hours and it looks amazing. Bruce takes his work seriously and is very fair in his pricing. I highly recommend Bruce's ; I had A couple active roof leaks and he came same day, we determined roof needed replaced , and he went above and beyond to put my mind at ease, to get a crew out the next day right before holidays, and work with my financial situation. During process he discovered a couple serious problems including a vent that had never been hooked up and was a moisture problem in my attic and repaired that for me preventing future damage , Great crew and workmanship ,and Cleanup was immaculate, no nails or scraps left behind! I called Bruce's Roofing in a panic, because I had a leak staining the ceiling in my kitchen- but not dripping. Bruce was able to come out the same day and assess the leak. I felt sure that he would try to sell me a new roof, as mine is getting on in years. Not the case! He determined the leak was from a cracked vent, and was able to replace it the next day. I asked him the condition of my roof in his professional opinion, and he told me it probably has about 5 years left of life, and he'd be happy to do an estimate when it is time. Bruce's roofing fixed a leak we had around a vent in our roof in 2017. Bruce recommended changing all the plastic (builder) vents to metal and resealed all to avoid having the same issue down the road. We went with this option and everything has been fine up until this past week's windstorm. We once again had a leak coming in through one of the upstairs bathroom fan/vents so I called Bruce and he was out in a couple of hours, fixed the problem ( the vent has blown off) and didn't charge me a thing.
