I have used Bruce's services for over 30 years--both for locks and safes. Just recently I couldn't open my safe. He had it open in 5 minutes! Highly recommend! read more

Excellent , knowledgeable service. Bruce came to my house and had a security safe open in minutes. A+

Mike is a wizard! He has helped me so many times with old locks, locks that I've lost keys to, being locked out of my house. I am deeply indebted to him for his experience. He even cleans up after he's finished the job. read more

I had a question about being locked out of a safe. Bruce guided me through legal procedures on how to obtain a master code through a locksmith (in Prescott) to access the unit read more

I have been using Bruce's lock shop for many years. Great service!! The owner is honest and knowledgeable!!! I highly recommend them.

Bruce cracked a safe for us. We had lost the combo over the years. Bruce came when agreed, got the safe open and rebuilt the head for less than others had quoted. Nice guy, very experienced and we would use him again. Thanks Bruce!! read more

The best locksmith in Tucson hands down! They helped me out of a jamb when no one else could ... and they said " Not a problem I guess those other guys have no experience.. just took a course or read a book" Experience counts in my book ... I would highly recommend these guys ... Thanks guys read more

Best lockshop in Tucson hands down. Had bad keys from ACE HW, and Bruce's keys just work correctly.

We had a problem with our safe. Bruce came and took care of the matter.

Reliable and efficient. Followed Bruce's Lock shop thru three locations and always satisfied.

LIke it used to be. Fast, efficient and reasonable. So much better than big box disappointment.

If you need a safe, this is the place. Big or small they got it all. Very helpful and kind staff. I stopped in to ask some quesions about my antique locks and if they fixed em right up. Even gave me the name of a recyler in town where I could find spares. Thanks again.... read more

Bruce's Lock Shop - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I've done several jobs with Michael from Bruce's Lock shop always a professional and excellent attention to detail.

Lisa picked removed 2 double-sided Arrow locks in my house within less than 5 minutes each! Very skilled. Satisfied customer here! I recently had a very bad experience with a web-based scam locksmith service for after locking myself out of the house. The "technician" couldn't pick the Kwikset, couldn't even get the lock off after drilling it. Totally incompetent! Used a pry bar as a hammer, damaged the security door, finally broke it off after swinging at it for 10 minutes. No comparison! Bruce's is a reputable business with skilled qualified people. read more

Always very professional and on time. We have used Bruce's Lock shop for both personal and for our business. We'll keep using them for sure

Went to Home Depot and Ace to get a copy of my motorcycle key. No luck. It's not in the system because it's a 2020. I come here and in 5 min I have a copy. Great job. Thanks. read more

I was running an errand for my dad and went into this place trying to get a key dulicated. I show him the key and he immediately steps back and yells at me DON'T YOU EVER TRY AND COME IN HERE WITH A KEY COVERED UP LIKE THAT. I starred at him, clueless as to what he was talking about. Apparently my dad had covered the "Do Not Duplicate" part of the key. I told the guy to relax and that it wasn't my key. He told me to leave the shop immediately. Worst customer service ever. Go to Ace Hardware or Home Depot if you need a key. read more

We initially called someone else but they completely botched the job at 7:00 at night. Left our college students without a lock on a house. Called Hugo and he went out and had the locks all set up in no time. He solved our problem creatively and at a very fair price! We are very thankful and would highly recommend! read more

Good guys, they know their stuff. Motorcycle keys are notorious for getting lost and being a pain in the rear to replace. In and out in 5 minutes and with a discount. Can't beat that. read more

The keys they cut for my Honda motorcycle work fine. That's not the beef. The thing is, I went into the dumpy store and the guy at the counter told me the keys would be $3 each. So I had him cut 3 keys. Total was $11.60 or $3.50 each plus tax. No apology, no discussion. Sold their soul and cheated me for $.50 a key. So, I won't be going back. Cheap crooks! read more

I travel halfway across town every time I need to have a duplicate key made, because I know they will get it right the first time, unlike the big box franchises. (i'm a realtor and so I need duplicates often) read more

Extremely rude and overpriced. Manufacturer sells the same product for 925 plus free shipping to your doorstep. Bruce's wants 1450 out the door, installed. Apparently tax and installation is $500+. Won't even negotiate on price. Rip off. read more

My experience with Bruce's lock shop was when we contacted them about doing some work on the doors at our business. First off, the representative who came out to give the estimate was one of the most unprofessional "professionals" I have ever done business with - very vulgar and rude. then after we got the work done we came to realize that they had ordered and installed the wrong type of ($150+) handles. Because our understanding was based on a verbal, we didn't get the situation rectified. After our overall bad experience and how slow they were (both at coming out and at getting the work done) we ended up going to a different lock shop to get the work re-done correctly. Would most definitely not recommend. read more

Bruce and his company have been my go-to guys for years. Bruce is a stand up guy and will treat you right with great customer service and prices that are more than reasonable. read more

Had keys made 4 my Mercury Grand Marquee Bruce did a great job..very polite ..nice person..

I inherited a like new box safe that was locked and without keys. I took the safe to Bruce's Lock Shop, 520-795-3454, 4500 East Speedway, Tucson, AZ, and the technician opened the safe, and then fabricated keys using an "impressions" (or some such) technique. I now have a working safe with extra keys, and the total cost was a mere $20.00. If you have a safe/lock problem, I highly recommend you take your problem to the guys at Bruce's Lock Shop. read more

Bruce is awesome. I needed a key cut for a motorcycle and tried two other places in town that were useless before I came here. The key blank is hard to find but these guys figured it out and got me back on the road. Highly recommend. read more

Went in to have a key made. I have a classic Mercedes and Ace Hardware wasn't able to replicate the key. The guy at Ace recommended Bruce's and I'm glad he did. I swear I was in an out in 60 seconds or less and the key works like a charm. Will be coming back again. Very friendly too. read more

I own two Honda Goldwing motorcycles. The keys for this bike are somewhat unique and most key shops do not carry the specific blank required to make duplicates. Several years back I discovered that Bruce's carried the required blank and had several duplicates made for my motorcycle. Fast forward to now, and I now have a new Goldwing and need new duplicate keys. I didn't hesitate to immediately go to Bruce's to have duplicates made. Both experiences were great and I'll return for any lock/key needs that I have in the future. read more

Just recently I was driving down Golf Links in front of a Bruce's lock shop van. I stopped short of the motorcycle in front of me because I did not want to get too close to his rear, and the van driver haunted me, continue to go around to the lane on my left and cuss at me as he passed me. If you let your employees act like that while in a vehicle with your company's name on it, that is just unprofessional. I know there is a lock shop in Tucson that I am never going to go to now! read more

Great shop and great people. Bruce has helped me move my safes many times (usually scheduling it late in the evening so I could do it after I got off of work). The last time he moved them it turned out I was right up the street from his house. Glad to have him as a neighbor as well as my lock and safe guy. Class act and outstanding customer service. Once I had a motorcycle key fall out of the ignition while I was riding to work.and had no way of shutting off the electrical system on the bike. I rolled up to Bruce's shop and he cut a key for me in just a couple of minutes and fixed my emergency so quickly I was at work on time. Don't bother going anywhere else, these guys have you covered. read more

Bruce and his staff are very courteous and helpful. The craftsmanship with which they conduct their operations is second to none. I have dealt with other locksmiths. None have been as good as Bruce's. I have had numerous locks worked on, as well as purchasing a safe from them. You cannot get better service at any price. read more
