I needed a new key fob for my car. I tried getting it from a different place and they were a mess - only one person out of the six employees was trained to do it and he was never there. The one time I did get him he could only do the key, not the fob. And the key took him almost an hour! AAA had the entire fob in stock, the employee that was there was able to help me, and he was done in under 15 minutes. Polite and helpful through entire service as well. read more

I called their number and he showed up in about 30 minutes. Picked the lock and offered to key the lock to one we use so we wouldn't have this trouble again. He came back up within a few minutes, reinstalled the lock and we were good to go. Very nice man and very professional. Happy I chose them! read more

No complaints here. I stupidly closed my keys in the trunk of my toyota Camry so gave AAA a call. They came and gwere able to get my door open in a few minutes. $46 for the service, which I felt was very reasonable. Cash or check only read more

I called Yesterday morning. Left a message and never got a call back. Called again today left name and number still no call back got some info from one of the locksmiths there and he gave me an idea of what needed to happen that they would have to come and make an impression. He did say you know I'm not sure what the price is but John or whoever is the main guy there will call you back. I said ok thanks man. That was good.. Untill I called again. Spoke to the lady receptionist whatever the hell she is. Her attitude is shitty. After she told me oh we can't help you I asked her then why did you guys waste my time and gave me the run around. She kept arguing with me and got louder so I got louder. In the end I got tired of her trying to argue with me so I said you guys have shitty service and F bombed her... In short don't waste your time with them Their customer service as far as their receptionist goes is shitty.. the guys are ok not her read more

I had an awful experience with AAA Lock & Key. I just moved into a new place where the door had trouble latching. Having called my landlord, they called the locksmith that handled the keying of the doors to help fix it. Well, of course, the day I have them come out, it is warm and the door has no trouble latching. And instead of trying to help me figure out a solution, the locksmith yelled at me like I'm an idiot and tells me there is nothing wrong with it. Thankfully I took a video of the lock not working and wanted to show him what was wrong. He didn't even bother to look at the video and said that nothing was wrong with it right now so he can't help me. Other than making me an extra key, he basically continued to tell me why he can't help me and that it isn't his fault or his problem. He then decided to just walk away and drive off without any further discussion. I then decided to call up the main office because I wanted to speak to a manager and complain about my experience. The woman that answered the phone basically just tells me "thanks for letting me know and I'll pass the message along" and then hung up on me.... Really? This is what you call professionalism or good customer service? I'm sorry but you will never have any of my business and I will never refer you to any of my friends or colleagues. read more

I went to AAA Lock & key today the man in the shop was sitting on a bench looking at a magazine. I told him that I needed the keyed ignition switch to have the tumblers replaced. He said he could make me a new key and that would fix the problem. I told him the car dealer said the key was good but this vehicle is known for the tumblers to ware out and to go to a locksmith to change them. Then the counter person at AAA Lock &key agreed the key was good and he couldn't change the tumblers today I would have to leave the it with him. Then he returned to his magazine. This shop is very lazy and not a good business to go to. read more

John is the man. Loves his customers and his business could not ask for more. Searched around town for the best price and it came with the best service so there are no complaints here read more

We came here yesterday to have some motorcycle keys duplicated. My hubby was able to get his fuel key remade for his Kawasaki Concourse (we supplied the keys). We came here to see if they were able to clone my key for my Can Am Spyder but, our key was uncloneable. Great service was given. We were able to test the fuel key in the bike and bring it back into the store for tweaks as needed until it was working right. There seemed to be a steady amount of customers coming into the store. I would definitely come here again. They also sell various style safes. ...gun safes......lockout tagout locks.....padlocks.....knives......and other odds and ins. read more

Awesome service! Needed my house re-keyed, and they were able to do this with a quick turnaround time. Will definitely use their business in the future if needed. Thanks! read more

These guys are great! I needed a new key and I have a newer vehicle that has a keyless entry and a laser cut key. If I had gone through the dealership the total including tax and shipping for the part and service would have been close to around $500 So I went online. Got the part for $48 from Amazon and AAA Lock & Key programmed and cut the key for $45. Total saved about $400. FTW! Oh one more thing. This took about 15 min. Dealership was going to charge me for an hour, and I got to support a local small business. #localfirstarizona read more

went to pay a previous bill that I thought my employer had paid (was told we had a corporate account set up), $20 for a duplicate key, for a company truck. Kid behind the counter handed me his cell phone and told me to enter my credit card info into it!? That's a new one. Paid cash to avoid the whole possible credit hack scenario, won't be back. read more

This locksmith was recommended to me by my handyman, and I'm glad he did. I had a problem with my sliding glass door exterior lock that had apparently been installed improperly by another company. Albert with AAA arrived on time and carefully studied the problem and came up with a solution that required some extra effort, but he solved it, and the lock works fine now, finally. I appreciate the professionalism and helpfulness of the three AAA employees I dealt with regarding this unusual lock problem. Highly recommend. read more

AAA Lock and Key is worth your business. Junior came out on a Saturday and fixed all of my lock issues in a very competent, professional and expedient manner. I was surprised at how fair the price was for all that was done. Definitely a repeat customer! read more

I had them change all the locks on a home we just purchased. It was easy to get an appointment with these guys. The tech that came out was a no-nonsense type. He was professional, worked quickly, and got the job done (10 doors) in less than hour. Excellent service. read more

Frankly, i don't think this place deserve any star at all. Complete failure when it comes to customer service! I went to this shop to have my car keys made after Ace & Home Depot failed to make it right. I told the guy there that ACE didn't make it right & so I came to AAA. But he rudely told me off & said that he didn't want to hear about it & to just hand him the keys. Hah! What a rude JERK! If you had a bad day why take it out on a customer? I heard from a mobile locksmith that Roadrunner on Speedway is better. Bye bye AAA! read more

Great service. Car keys stolen and they re-keyed my car same day for hundreds less than dealership. Very empathetic and friendly. Will go back if ever needing locksmith service. read more

I lost the keys to my 2007 yfz 450 and I was able to bypass my ignition for a day of riding. However, I wanted a key ignition to deter theft and looking online yielded very expensive options. After calling all over town, I was referred to this shop and they were able to make new, functional keys within minutes! I paid much less for new keys than for a new ignition and I will be using this shop for all of my future key needs. Don't hesitate, just go in! read more

I was tiring to have a Harley Sportster key duplicated, they went thru their entire key rack and couldn't find one for me. The lady said in a wisper that I could go down the street and around the block, I went there, they had the key, and I was on my way. Thanks. read more

Quoted us a price to fix my son's jeep. He is in the air force and on a tight budget. It took them weeks to find the part but they didn't give up. Super impressed with these people, not only did they stay on the hunt for the necessary parts, they stuck to their original quote, not many people do business this way anymore. Highly recommend for quality and honesty. Thank you AAA Lock and Key. read more

The shop on Broadway Blvd did an EXCELLENT job making a new key for me after all my motorcycle keys were lost. They worked for hours on the bike and only charged $25! They saved me hundreds in changing the entire ignition switch. They get VERY busy at times and only have a couple workers so patience is required. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I have a Toyota Avalon and recently, my car key stopped working (didn't turn at all) on lock on the driver side door. Fortunately, it was working on the passenger side door. I called up AAA lock and key and before I could explain the issue, the person on the other end said it is a common issue with Toyota and Honda and he asked me to come in to get it fixed. I went to their shop and he got a new key made in no time and gave me a quote of $20. The new key was able to open the driver side door, but not lock it. So he said the lock has to be taken out and fixed and that is additional cost of $60. I agreed and he fixed the lock in some time. During the process of taking out the lock, there was a chip in the outer and inner handle. He proposed to replace it or reduce the price for the work. Essentially, he charged me only $30 and gave another duplicate key along with a new one. I was impressed by the quick resolution, honesty, dedication to customer service and the low cost. I recommend this shop any day. read more

This locksmith is experienced and knows what they are doing. I made the mistake of taking my overly expensive FOB key for my wife's car to a big box home improvement store and after the clerk took my key and "cut" it, he informed it he wasn't sure if he cut it right, and he didn't. I took it to AAA Lock & Key in hopes that they could save the key instead of having to fork out another $45 for another FOB key, and they were able to correct the bad cut and the key is totally usable. read more

If you have any key need, this place is great. They do all kinds and they do car key fobs as well. The service is friendly and fast. I went in and had my motorcycle Givi top case key remade, not even the local Givi dealer could track down a key. That along with another key were both made in seconds flat. Highly recommend. read more

I came to AAA lock and key this afternoon at precisely 2:49 pm. Their listed hours for Saturday's have them closing at 3pm. The "Open" sign was already off, door locked and lights off. I saw two men exit from the side of the building as I was leaving, clearly the workers having clocked off early. I've used AAA lock and key in the past and been satisfied, but if they can't even keep to their posted hours like a decent business, then they will get no business of mine. read more

The key would not go into the lock of my Nissan Versa. I knew I would need to order a part to fix the lock, but had things in the trunk I needed to get out. A gentleman from AAA opened the lock so I could get my things out of the trunk. He advised me to not get the part through the dealer and told me where to look. This saved me a considerable amount of money. He also advised me to come back when I get the part and they can drill it in at a much lower cost than the dealer. He did not charge me for his services. I look forward to returning for the lock replacement. I have rarely received better service. read more

John/Jr. is a great help. He's basically a one-man show, so prepare to be patient...it can be busy. But, when it's your turn, he is nice, professional, and knows his business. He saved us $$ we would have paid to dealers to create new, chipped keys for our vehicles. We were so impressed with his assistance on a very busy afternoon, we came back first thing that Saturday (no wait!) and had backup keys made for our other vehicles. read more

See review for 0 007 Lock1 Service, which has the same address as this one. I needed a Schlage keypad lock rekeyed to match my other doors and took it to two other hardware stores who had no idea what they were doing. Ended up taking it to Jr at AAA. Nice to work with a professional every once in a while. read more

After a shaky start with them changing a couple of appointments, the tech arrived did his job in a professional manner, charged less then the office quote and was able to rekey my safe with out damage. AAA Lock & Key is a great lock shop. Myself, my Father and Grandfather both were long time customers. All the locksmiths are knowledgeable, skilled and finish jobs in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good work. There has been many people in and out of the shop over the years, until recently I have never had a problem with any employee. My wife tried to call and have someone come out to put in some new hardware, long story short she ended up waiting on hold far too long. She hung up and called back. When she finally got back to her the lady was short, rude, seemed irritated. The day we were waiting for the locksmith to come out it was raining, I thought I'd call in to check where he might be or how far out. The dispatcher had no patience with me at all, proceeded to bark at me, and cut me off while speaking. The work they do is 5 star. read more

I lost my key to my 30 plus year old motorcycle. It was 10 minutes to closing time for them. Everyone else I called could not help that day, maybe the next day they said. Others were closed, some did not answer the phone, ect... So When I called here, the girl I talked to said no problem, bring in the ignition set and they could take care of me. I said I know it is close to closing time, could they possibly wait for me? YES she said! Now I am relieved I finally found someone to help. I asked for a ride from a co worker and we got there a little after closing time, and there she was waiting for me! She smiled, said it will be a few minutes to take the ignition apart or something like that. All I know is that in about 10 - 15 minutes she had 3 keys for me! The best part is that I expected to pay a fortune for this... but she only charged me a very fair amount of $20, which included the 3 keys! You do not get this kind of service anywhere else in town. This company stayed open late on my word I would be there, They did not charge me a fortune even though they knew I was in a bad spot and gave me 2 more keys than I expected! This company has my business forever! Thanks again for everything! read more

Terrible customer service and extremely rude attitude. Dear AAA Lock & Key, I called you this morning to ask some basic questions about your services. I have never used a locksmith before and had some inquiries about options, rates, etc. The woman answered the phone was extremely rude and delivered terrible customer service. She was condescending, insulting, and unhelpful. You would be wise to find another employee who does not drive customers away. I will not be using your services now or in the future. read more

I used to use them when the older owner was in charge. Since they have moved, the older owner is not there and the lady and man there are a disaster in customer service and I went back two times, those two were smoking outside and were not very interested in customer help. And, they could not even program my keys as their computers were down? So, I went to the Dealer and actually paid them less than AAA Lock. I would not ever return to that store unless the family regains control of what they used to be like. read more

Went in to see about getting some locks replaced. The guy behind the counter was incredibly rude, while the woman behind the counter reeked of alcohol. She was even less helpful that the rude guy. Never again read more

Used AAA Lock and Key since the mid 80's and was always pleased. Not this time and maybe not in the future. New location and new staff, but they struggled to make a simple key which broke off in lock when used. They blamed cheap Chinese blanks and old tools, but from what I saw, it was the lack of talent. I'm going elsewhere. read more
