After receiving no assistance, I eventually made my way into the shop, where I was greeted by an employee named Kay. During my interaction with Kay, I observed that she was smoking inside the shop. When I attempted to ask her a question, she appeared dismissive and brushed me off, directing me to ask the mechanic instead of addressing my concern herself. When I asked about her position, she informed me that she was the assistant store manager. I find this behavior extremely unprofessional and unacceptable, particularly from someone in a management position who should be setting an example for other employees and ensuring customers receive respectful and professional service. I have been a loyal customer at this location for the past three years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I believe every customer deserves to be acknowledged, treated with courtesy, and provided with appropriate assistance, regardless of the reason for their visit. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my perception of this location. Based on the lack of customer service and the unprofessional conduct I encountered, I will no longer be doing business with this Mavis location. Recently, my son purchased a 1995 Chevrolet 1500 pickup from this business. I could not be more happy with the service be received. JSI staff worked very hard to bring the truck up to our expectation. They put a lot of time, effort and money into fixing it right. The truck ran rough the first time we drove it and stalled on acceleration. These guys dig deep and figured out the cause of the problem. I know they had to lift the bed to get into the fuel tank and replace the fuel pump. They did a lot of other work to the motor. They even found a rusted brake line during inspection and fixed it. They could have easily passed it off and let it become our problem later. These guys told me that they take their reputation seriously and that vehicles leaving their lot have to be right. I could tell they took pride and integrity in their job. They were very accommodating of my busy schedule and they helped my son learn some things about car buying. Overall, this was a top notch buying experience!. I highly recommend them. The shop was busy too, the entire time I was there. Don't let the simplistic look and the run down appearance of their real estate fool you. These guys have their heads under cars all day long. They can do things I can't!

This was THE ABSOLUTE worst service I have ever gotten from a garage. I went in there for a…read morediagnostic alert on my truck. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and the guy said it would take an hour. After 2.5 hours later I had to go up and ask the status of my truck to find out that it was sitting there waiting for me. I was charged $160 for them to tell me they couldn't diagnose my vehicle because of damage that happened a year ago and the alert has been on for 3 days. Then they told me I needed new shocks, roters, and brakes to pass inspection at DOUBLE the cost of any local garage. I would never recommend this place to someone.

The day my wife and I stopped to "kick tires" I didn't have the time to actually buy a vehicle that day. Jim gave me a good deal right up front - no back and forth crap with the pricing. I explained I had somewhere to be and didn't really have time to complete the deal that day. Jim gave me the option of taking my truck with me or letting it with him to take care of the Rhino liner and bed cover installs. I chose to leave the truck and pick it up later that week. My schedule got very busy that week so Jim made arrangements for me to stop in and finish the paper work before my truck was ready and then just stop by and pick the truck up later in the day when my schedule freed up. When I did stop in to do the paperwork I was informed of all of the options available to me but was not pressured into buying all of the options. I chose what was right for me and my budget without the pressure. Thanks guys and gals for a job well done.
