I am a refugee from BAD dentistry, and had several crowns that went bad, and broke a tooth off in a fall. Fortunately they had a great oral surgeon Dr. Eric Blamires - who also has an incredible staff that services several offices in the area. It took about 2 years including healing time, but I got all my issues addressed and 3 implants. Dr. Hartman and his staff are very professional and helpful. I just went in to get my current dental cleaning last week. Their hygienist Cassandra is REALLY good. Good enough that I request her after having her do my cleaning the last time. Despite having a number of crowns that needed replacing that were challenging, Dr. Hartman did a stellar job, as did his assistants. I love the digital x-rays - they can see immediately if they need a "retake." If you have dental phobia from being a bad dentistry refugee, try these folks, they're good.

I trusted this office to help me restore my smile with new dentures, but the experience was deeply…read moredisappointing and emotionally devastating. From the beginning, I raised concerns about the sample dentures being too large and loose. I was assured the final product would fit properly once completed. Unfortunately, when the permanent dentures arrived, they immediately fell out when I opened my mouth. The staff's only response was to "adjust" them, even though the fit was severely off and the bite was crooked. The situation worsened after I voiced my concerns. Instead of helping, I feel the staff became dismissive, and at times, hostile. I was even blamed for the poor results -- being told it was my fault the dentures didn't fit and even my fault for losing my teeth too young. When they attempted to "fix" the situation, they ended up giving me a poorly made set that was a smaller, damaged replica of my old dentures - not the beautiful, properly fitting dentures I was promised and paid for. The bottom dentures were so poorly made that they caused me severe pain and were unwearable. After spending over $2,000, enduring five months of painful and frustrating appointments, and suffering emotional distress, I am now forced to wear my old dentures again. Meanwhile, the office has refused to take responsibility or correct the situation. lam now seeking new dental care elsewhere, which may lead to additional costs that could have been avoided had this office fulfilled their obligations properly. I am sharing my experience to caution others: if you have any issues here and try to advocate for yourself, you may not only be ignored, but treated poorly. Please be careful when trusting this office with something as personal and important as your health and your smile. Addition: since I can't respond to the generic response from the business I am adding here. The number listed is to the office that already treated me poorly, that had the office manager tell me they would NOT make my top dentures they way they were suppose to be, the same office that gave me a bottom denture that even after re aligned mire than once dies not fit my mouth. So as I said before they have over 2k of my money 5 months of my time and missed work so maybe the owner should reach out to me and see how he or she would like to resolve things with me. Thank you

Her locating to SW Littleton is in my top ten things that have occurred over the past two years in my life. I've had old fillings replaced, new crowns, and new veneers on my front teeth and all are perfect. Never experienced any pain in any procedure. She is the BEST dentist I've ever known in my nearly 70 years of living. I see a review to my right that says they inquired but never heard back. I find that very hard to believe as her staff is top-notch. Maybe it was a computer glitch. Pick up the phone and call their office. They will take great care of you and you'll be very happy with the results. Sincerely, Susan Harper Ken Caryl, CO

After terrible experience with my last dentist, it took me a long time to get help. Postponing the care I needed became so unbearable I came to yelp to look for places with great reviews. I found southwest family dentistry, I am so happy I did. My care here has been so amazing. Dr. Sotoodeh is the best, she listened to me and my concerns and provided excellent care. The staff understood how nervous I was and made me so comfortable. Everyone here is seriously so amazing and kind. I'm so happy I am no longer in any discomfort. Dr. Sotoodeh even checked in on me days later asking how I was feeling. She really cares and that's was I love about this place.

Aspen View was the second practice I visited, the first was Red Rocks Family Dentistry. After radiographs and a cleaning at Red Rocks, the dentist indicated that I had 2 cavities under my maxillary bridge and she could not treat me, claiming that my case was too complex. I was referred to 2 prosthodontists, both of whom I had seen previously and did not like. I waited for six months and appointed with Aspen View, explaining that I had a full mouth series taken at Red Rocks and that my insurance carrier would not pay for additional radiographs. I was told that they needed a couple more and that I would not be charged. After reviewing them, the dentist claimed that I had an infection at the root of a tooth which had a prior root canal, also located beneath my bridge and that suggested that I see a specialist. As of this date (5/7/26), I have not been billed for the radiographs as was promised. I have come to the conclusion that since the time I had a complete reconstruction of my mouth (2011-2012), several dentists are unwilling to treat me.

I was treated like a criminal because I was an excruciating pain for 13 days. I don't do opiates, but I couldn't get anything to make the pain go away. They wrote me a prescription that was an invalid prescription. All the pharmacies said that is a fake prescription. They don't make prescriptions in that order I was given and they don't understand why my dentist gave me that prescription. I went to eight different pharmacies to try to get it filled by the last one they said this is not a real prescription .... I was in shock. I grew up with a doctor of pharmacology in my family had amazing connections to doctors because of my mom and all her procedures that she had in her life with top-notch service and quality people. This was opposite .. I've never gone through that process before and the women that were running the Desk at the dentist office ..treated me as though I was trying to get more drugs, which I just needed the pain to go away since then I've had five other teeth pulled with no pain whatsoever except for the first day and it was nothing compared to the excruciating god-awful experience I went through with overwhelming pain for over two weeks with my first poll at Aspen view dental. ... due to the fact of my genetic make up of how my parents did not have good teeth I have a wonderful dentist now I have a bridge and I have healthy mouth now I'm treated with respect dignity and shown Grace. I was treated terribly by the Aspen view, dental office staff and the ladies who run the reception desk. I was in the state of shock during all this. I highly suggest stay far away from this business and don't put your money or time into it because they do not know how to treat people.. they also did some crowns that were a defective material causing massive root decay because of their inferior product. Also, when you x-ray, you can't see through their type of crowns, hiding the fact that there was decay. My current Dentist makes crowns in the office as well as uses a material that you can see through when X-rays to see the teeth of any thing starts to show up so that you can catch it sooner than having to pull a tooth. I'm paying the price of going to a terrible dentist that did terrible work and hopefully I've had my last tooth pulled because now I have outstanding service and quality a product that's used

I had to wait 45 min to be seen by anybody, and then told they "wouldn't have time" to do some of the things I had scheduled my appointment for. I was told my appointment was "moved off to the side". What's the point of having an appointment if it's just going to be disregarded. Thankfully Dr Simmons was kind and helpful and allowed me to get done what I needed but the assistant was extremely dismissive and rude. She didn't answer any of my questions and would walk away when I tried to ask questions. I think she said a total of two words to me in the 2.5 hours I was there. I asked if we would be completing the rest of my X-rays (like I had scheduled to do) and she literally said "no" with an attitude and walked away for 45 min. People are already nervous to go to the dentist, they shouldn't have to deal with rude assistants on top of that.

Over the next two days I contacted the office THREE SEPARATE TIMES regarding the excruciating pain and, later, the horrible swelling and to ask for some kind of relief. Every time, I was told that it was NORMAL, there was nothing they could do, and that after 48 hours the antibiotic would make it all better. This morning (three days later) I stopped in to a different Dental office to try again to beg for some help. They confirmed that what I was experiencing was NOT AT ALL NORMAL, and immediately got me back for x-rays. The antibiotics I had been prescribed were not working, and the infection had spread throughout my face and around my eye. I had developed a huge additional abscess on my gums due to the uncontrolled infection, which the new dentist was able to drain and clean for me, much to my relief. She put me on a different antibiotic--875 mg of Augmentin--and said that, due to the proximity of the infection to my eye, I should take two immediately--even before leaving the pharmacy--to start getting this infection under control. No one at the Coal Mine office had said anything about warning signs to look out for. I called the office THREE TIMES after my appointment about the pain and swelling. No one ever asked any questions about the swelling, like where or how bad it was. No one ever asked any questions about the intense pain I was feeling, or the headache, or told me to watch out for a fever (which I did eventually develop). All I ever heard was that it was all normal. This was some of the worst pain I've experienced in my life. I wish I had listened to my husband (and everyone else that saw my face) and gotten medical attention sooner.
