Horrible customer service…read more I came into this showroom on a Saturday after a window latch broke. I brought the window and the broken latch with me, expecting some basic assistance finding a replacement part. Instead, because I didn't have an original order number and hadn't purchased the window directly through them, they refused to help. Maybe the weekday staff is more knowledgeable, but the employees working that Saturday either didn't know the Milgard products or simply couldn't be bothered to help someone who wasn't making a large purchase. It felt like the moment they realized I was only looking for a replacement part, they lost all interest in assisting me. If you're expecting customer service, product knowledge, or any willingness to help solve a simple problem, look elsewhere. There are better options out there. Update: Reached out to Roadrunner Glass in Fremont and they were able to identify my window from pictures as the Tuscany model and the Smart Touch Latch I needed. They did not even me to come in with the window and only needed a picture. So if you want good customer service its better to just wait till during the week when staff with experience and know-how can help.

Was excited to find a lumberyard open on weekends that wasn't Home Depot. Got there, and the people…read morewere very friendly and helpful for the basics, but I wouldn't go there to ask actual technical questions about wood or building. I did going expecting it would have a better selection of lumber at better prices than Home Depot. Unfortunately, that was not the case. They had a lot of wood suitable for construction but not for woodworking. They really had only one type of plywood with any kind of nice surface. Mostly have OSB, CDX, and only one type with a sanded finish. And that was almost $10 more per sheet than what I could get at Home Depot. No Birch or other quality plywood ether. I did purchase about 4 sheets just to check them and then went to Home Depot and got the remaining 11 sheets I needed. It was less expensive and there was significantly more choice for plywood other than OSB, CDS, etc.

We were recommended by another company to come here and I can see why. Homer was really patient with me and spent a lot of time with my husband and I in trying to find the right flooring. On top of that, Homer answered my concerns and questions via email too. He is just wonderful! My only advice is to not ever get Mohawk tecwood, natural linen oak. It's my fault. I tried to research and I picked it. Homer tried to steer us to better quality to hold up for everyday use, but I was dead set on this. I should have listened. I will be back and listen to Homer next time. Just love this place!

Mixed experience with FMD Distributor…read more On the positive side, We worked with Homer for our flooring project and had a fantastic experience. He was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help. He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Unfortunately, our experience with Shawn on the windows and doors side was the complete opposite. He often came across as condescending, seemed distracted and in a rush, and follow-up was poor. Customer service and communication were disappointing, and we were left wondering why someone with that attitude is in a customer-facing role. Based on my experience, I would happily recommend Homer for flooring, but I cannot say the same for the windows and doors department.

My partner is not fluent in English, so I explained that I would translate and that we could use ChatGPT if needed. The female employee helping us responded by saying, "You need to speak English to do your job." She then added, "I'll give you ten minutes." Instead of showing patience or professionalism, she treated us as if we were wasting her time. When we mentioned using ChatGPT to translate, she and another employee laughed at us instead of offering assistance. As a business owner myself, I would never allow my employees to treat customers this way. Their behavior not only showed a lack of professionalism and respect but also caused ABC Supply to lose a nearly $20,000 sale. We took our business elsewhere the same day. I hope management reviews the security footage and addresses this situation seriously. Respect for customers should never depend on the language they speak.

This is a big store and you can check out their products online as well…read more Our contractor recommended this place as he has an account there with deep discount that can be passed onto the customers. They have a variety of tile selections and most of them were imported from Italy or Spain which with better quality there's less yield loss, hence you can buy less. Some of the special priced items have longer lead times, so make sure you double check with them. We didn't enjoy the process as much as with other shops because of 3 reasons. First of all, our sales contact was quite unavailable on the weekends or even Friday afternoons, so we had a hard time scheduling with her. But if you just walk in and ask for help from the front desk, they will assign someone to help. The second issue we found was the inconsistency of product introductions. We were worried about slippery tiles in the shower, our sales contact suggested us to focus on the tiles that have a special coating. The second sales person we talked to said the special coating was only for outdoor use, using the gauge lines between tiles is good enough to prevent slipping. Thirdly, after we got the quote, we couldn't place the order into the system with our contractor's discount; only that appointed sales person could do. Luckily we could get the rest of the process done via email and she sent out a link for me to make payment. If you have a Rakuten cash back app and pay online, I think you get the cash back as well.
