It's hard to believe that this BEAUTIFUL kitchen belongs to us! Since we had burned by contractors for other jobs in the past, I did my due diligence. Craft was recommended to me by a friend, but I still checked with references and got honest feedback from their past clients. Fortunately, Craft delivered in every way. I would highly recommend them to others without ANY hesitation. Our project required architectural plans and structural engineering as we needed to remove walls. The timeline Craft gave us was adhered to and weekly communication kept us apprised of what work would be done each week. The crew was highly skilled, friendly, and clean. Since we were still living in the home during the remodel, we appreciated the crew's cleanliness and accommodations. Craft brought in expert craftsmen to build our cabinetry and fabricate our stone; both of whom were willing to customize our kitchen with unique touches specific to our requests. When questions arose, Chris and Jennifer addressed them immediately or patiently awaited our decisions. The two of them are a WINNING TEAM and were always willing to listen to our ideas and brought our dreams to fruition! They truly aim to please and care about their clients. It is a challenge to live without a kitchen (during construction), and knowing we were in good hands made it so much easier.

Kico and team just finished the countertops and backsplash for my house and I am very pleased with the outcome. Timing: The process itself was surprisingly so quick!Demo was done on Monday (about half a day), fabrication Tuesday through Wednesday, and installation took place Thursday (full day). Design: Flawless. The veining from the backsplash to the countertops and to the mitered edges was done so seamlessly that I honestly cannot see where one slab ends and another begins. Kico would tell us his team could do a project but then it didn't get done, leaving me to find another way to do it. Kico needs a task manager app to stay organized! I was confused, so I…read morewrote some reviews along with a few videos/ pictures to show their work on one of the companies' Yelp page a while ago. Later on I found Eagle Flooring & Floor Covering is the real installer for my flooring (I already copy and paste the previous reviews here). Eagle Flooring & Floor Covering is the flooring subcontractor of our general contractor. After they installed our new flooring with nailed down method, there are many squeaks (most of them sounds like popcorn sound) on the 1st floor and the 2nd floor. My contractor told me to mark the squeaks with some tape. He said the flooring company will come back to fix the squeaks. When the flooring representative, Jose came to my place, he did not even try to fix anything. He simply told me there is nothing he can do. He thinks the squeaks are caused by the subfloor and the installation was done right. A week later, my contractor sent his own crew to work on the squeaks. They put more nails on the boards where has popcorn sound, they also applied some wood putty on the area. Most of the squeaks either have improved or have resolved after that. So, since a general contractor can do something to the squeaks, why a "professional" flooring company like Eagle Flooring can't do anything??!! It is definitely a horrible experience working with Eagle Flooring & Floor Covering. -------------------------------------------------- 2.0 star rating 4/4/2016 Previous review My contractor used this company to install our flooring. I paid extra to install the flooring in nail down method for both 1st and 2nd floor. When they worked on the floor, I was on a vacation but my husband was there. After I came home, I could not wait to see the flooring. I walked everywhere in my house, but I was very disappointed that many spots have squeaky sound as I stepped on. Some of the spots are very loud just like popcorn sound. According to my contractor's message, the flooring company would come back to fix the floor on 4/1. However, nobody ever came here, and there was no phone call letting me know that they are not coming. Looks like the company has pretty good reviews on yelp. I truly hope that they can do a good job to fix the squeaky flooring when they come next time. -------------------------------------------------- 1.0 star rating4/7/2016 Updated review The representative of this flooring company , Jose, came to my house on 4/5. He did not seem to care about my concern at all. He walked on the spots where are squeaky, and he said there's nothing he can do. He claims that the squeaks are caused by subfloor. I then asked him is there anything they could do to eliminate this issue before installation. He answered that they could not know this squeaks might happen until they lay down the new floor. It is totally not professional by him saying that. A flooring contractor is supposed to inspect the subfloor before they lay new flooring down. Before they start with installation, they should let homeowner know in advance if they do find anything wrong with subfloor. This flooring company does not seem to be responsible and their installation is poor. My floor is nail-down but I can feel some boards are slightly moving with popcorn sound when I stepped on. My contractor promises that they'll fix the squeaks, however, it is hard for me to trust this flooring company anymore.

After a lot of research, we picked Jose to do our floors. We couldn't be happier with our decision…read more Jose was professional and friendly. With very busy schedules between my husband and I, José made planning effortless. We went with WPC flooring which is new on the market. Jose finished the project quicker than we expected. Most places told us it would take 3-4 weeks and Jose did the job in 4 days and it took the materials 3 days to get to him. A little over a week is better than waiting a month. We did about 688 sq. Ft in work. Jose went far beyond our expectations. He pointed out some things that needed to be fixed on our stairs and was able to fix the problems. Our floors look amazing. Contractors can be such a pain in the butt, José and his partner were the opposite of that. We felt like we could trust Jose which had a lot to do with our decision as well. We gave him the key and let him do his job accordingly. Jose even adjusted our tab to make it less in the end. That is almost unheard of, but once again he is an honest business man! You would want to hire housekeeping afterwards. There's lots of dust that gets on everything.

The team (Francisco and Arturo) were professional, respectful, helpful, prompt, friendly, and accommodating to some peculiarities about the installation. The removal of existing wood veneer planks and carpet was straightforward. Francisco effectively planned the installation to accommodate for furniture relocation and leveling of the subfloor. They used existing baseboards with additional quarter-round to accommodate for the difference in height between the prior and new flooring. Home Depot set the pricing for the materials and labor, which was quite reasonable. I would be very happy for Francisco and Arturo to be the team for any future flooring installation.

We worked with S&S, their subcontractors, and partners for our home renovation project in San Jose…read morebetween November 2025 and May 2026. Our project included retexturing the exterior walls and repainting the entire exterior of our home, replacing our HVAC system and ductwork, replacing all the windows, adding exterior lighting to the front of our home, replacing our water heater, replacing our previous rain downspouts, and numerous other 'smaller' items that I can't recall as I'm writing this. Since this was our second home renovation project (we had a mixed-to-negative experience with our previous contractor), we spoke with a few different contractors in the South Bay and chose S&S based on several factors including their very competitive pricing, flexibility in understanding our needs, and excellent first impressions (showing up on time, proactively providing us with recommendations, being super approachable, etc.). Throughout the entire project, S&S and their partners always showed up on time (or communicated in advance if they were running a little behind), checked in with us to see how we felt things were progressing, and temporarily paused work to recalibrate with us if we felt adjustments needed to be made. Even though things didn't always go smoothly 100% of the time (what home project ever does?), S&S made sure that things were "done right" and that we were satisfied with the end result. Of particular note, this included S&S spending extra time, money, and labor at their own expense to make sure things met both our expectations and their standards, which absolutely speaks to their exceptional work ethic and business practices. Overall, I would absolutely recommend S&S to anyone else that's looking to have work done around their home. They will certainly be the first people I reach out to for our next home renovation project.

It's still in good enough shape that we asked S&S to repair, clean and seal the grout, replace the caulking, and fix one tile in the hall bathroom, and do the same in a newer bathroom. In their on-site-estimate visit, Steve Stuck (owner) and Joe explained what needed to be done, and this was detailed in the quote we received shortly after. On the day of the work, Steve and his son Zack (also an owner), introduced Carlos and Mario to us, and made sure the walkways in our home had protective coverings. Carlos and Mario both worked hard, and took the extra step of fixing a cracked tile that we hadn't mentioned. We're very happy with the outcome, and since S&S is licensed as a general and plumbing contractor, as well as tile, we're talking with them about our kitchen renovation, too.
