This is the best place to have fire extinguishers serviced. They are very accommodating. Dave even got his daughter to service the fire extinguishers for me. In previous years I had to get new fire extinguishers every 6 or 7 years because they needed extra work and cost more. I ended up getting new fire extinguishers because of that. I stopped by (with appointment) to recharge two extinguishers and was told that plastic handle items could not be recharged. And, they couldn't be recycled. Then, to my surprise he accepted the two items for disposal and gave me two perfectly good ones that he had. Bubba runs a great business! He and his family service commercial establishments during the day from a mobile van and in the late afternoon (by appointment), they service extinguishers for homeowners from their location in San Mateo. Service is quick, attentive and prices very reasonable. They make sure you know how to check your extinguisher regularly AND how to use it. And guess what? Bubba saved my house! Just two weeks after getting my extinguishers serviced, we experienced a REAL FIRE! I had to use both extinguishers, but got the fire out before the Fire Department arrived. If I had not had those extingushers serviced and knew how to use them, there would have been much more damage, or maybe even a total loss. When I took them back to Bubba to be re-filled and told him the story, he re-filled them for free! I'm going back regularly now! read more
