I would definitely recommend Christen to anyone looking into microblading. I've gone to her twice now (the first time in 2019 and again in 2021 for my touch up). Even though I'm no longer in LA, I make the 40 mile drive over to Glendale because I'd only trust her to do them! I found her initially through Instagram, and what drew me to scheduling with her was the many pictures of healed brows she had on her page (as opposed to only freshly done microblading which always looks good - it's the way it looks healed that matters most!). Arranged an eyelash extension appointment via email for a specific date in preparation for my wedding. Dealt directly with the owner, Christen, who was originally responsive via email. When I showed up for my appointment, I knocked on the front door several times, rang the doorbell, and called at least 3 times. No answer. Stood out in the heat for 20 minutes with no response. I guess she never put my appointment in her system. :angryeyebrows: Because this was for my wedding, there really wasn't time to find another eyelash extension technician in time. What makes this review only one star is that the owner never called me back and never responded to my email about the scheduling issue. Completely unprofessional and horrible service. Let me tell you about this girl Christen, she's amazing, artistic, meticulous, and such a sweet person. So I heard about her through a friend of mine. Which my friend was referred to her by her friend. Once I saw my friends eyebrows, I told her I need her to do my brows. So I reached out to Christen through Instagram and her and I texted back and forth. I even got to speak to her on the phone about my questions and concerns. She was confident and knowledgeable about her brow art. I felt so happy. I found my match. Someone who loves their work as much as I do and someone who was gonna transform my brows into natural looking brows. When I met her, I felt like I could hang and talk to her forever. Her attitude and welcomeness is contagious. She went over the steps on how everything works. She took my before pictures and started mapping my eyebrows, numbing and mixed my special color just for me. Then I laid down and she went to work on my brows.
