My brows needed to be cleaned up, not only did Connie take the time to carefully wax my brows, she went back with tweezers to take away any strays. I had a Brazilian wax appointment with Connie. It was the first and last time I will see her for services. First, she missed a lot of what was supposed to be waxed! My husband had to use tweezers to clean up the strays, which were a lot! Second and most important, I had requested my husband to come in with me during the appointment, and she said there was only standing room in the back where the body waxing is done. We said that would be fine. Then she said, well, there really wasn't enough room, and it was her preference that he not come back. She magnanimously gave him the choice between waiting in the car or in the front of the salon. We begrudgingly agreed. I was surprised when entering the waxing area. There was plenty of room, and it even had a chair my husband could have sat in. I pointed this out, and she said it's her policy not to allow husbands to come back during body waxing. I assured her my husband doesn't get weird, and what's more, he had been with me in previous appointments elsewhere. She said that other women said the same, and husbands are almost always weird when their wives are waxed. When I pressed her to explain how they're weird, she dodged answering directly. Then she started "man bashing." After I said both genders are essential, she changed to more neutral topics of conversation for the rest of the appointment. I can't in good conscience recommend seeing her due to the dishonesty, disrespect towards my husband and other men, and poor workmanship. read more

Having lived through the 90's when plucking the poor things into meager hints of a brow, I have little to work with. After consulting with Connie, I walked out with fuller and perfectly tinted brows. She was so good, I plan to go to her with permanent makeup needs (something I would only trust to someone with her skill level) Connie is a great, and AFFORDABLE deal. I've been seeing Connie for about 2 years now and she's great! I have dark skin, so being a first time waxed I was nervous but she is so knowledgeable and I can attest that she has a wide array of waxes appropriate for a variety of complexions and body regions. I didn't have much luck with brow places around the area, but this one seems to almost meet my expectations. I wish the brow tinting was neater since I could see some spots around the brow line messy and dye residue closer to my eyelids. The brow waxing and shaping was perfect but I did develop reaction to whatever wax there was three days after waxing (now the skin around the brows look like after chemical peel). My skin usually doesn't do that, the most I get little pimples that are gone within couple hours. The brow artist was very polite and professional, so no complaints to that! I'm still giving four stars since I haven't found anything better yet. Update: peeling around the eyebrows are getting worse. Definitely not coming back again. read more

She has a room in a hair salon, which is really nice. After the wax, she thought I could use a tint on my eyebrows to darken them up free of charge for me, since I was her last customer of the day and she had some time for me. So I can see what it looked like before I purchased it. I have to say that I love it, and I definitely have to go back to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted. She did a great job on them. Connie did an excellent job waxing my underarms. I have been taking collagen supplements so the hair growth is fast and furious! She even took the time to tweeze. I expected to have regrowth after a few days however 6 days out and my pits are still smooth Very quick to book appointments too. There was some redness afterward, very typical.
